| Abstract: | The paper compares the difference between ASME VIII-1 and GB 150 in terms of the impact energy of Charpy impact tests and explains the principle of judging the exemption from the impact test required in ASME VIII-1 during the construction of pressure vessels as well as the application of impact test exemption in actual engineering projects. |
