摘    要:提出一种利用瞬时转速信号在线监测汽车发动机各缸工作不均匀性和失火故障的方法,通过建立多缸发动机的非线性动力学模型。揭示了瞬时转速与气体力扭矩及各缸气体压力之间的本质联系,在此基础上直接定义了2种衡量各缸不均匀性的无量纲特征参数,给出了这些参数的快速提取算法和故障判断方法,实验研究结果表明,该方法有效可行,能满足在线分析的要求,从而为汽车发动机的性能监测、诊断与控制提供了一条可行的途径。

Abstract:This paper proposes a technique for on line detection of cylinder-to-cylinder nonuniformity and incipient misfire by instantaneous angular velocity signals in automotive engines. Approximating the engine dynamics as a single degree of freedom system, a nonlinear engine model which relates the gas pressure torque and the cylinder pressures to the crankshaft angular velocity is derived. By processing the model equation in the angular frequency domain, two dimensionless parameters for the detection of cylinder-to-cylinder nonuniformity and misfire are defined. The fast algorithms for extracting these parameters and the approaches to identify a misfiring cylinder or cylinders are put forth. The experimental results in real-world engines are presented, which thus verify the technique to be efficient and simple in implementation. It is fully anticipated that this technique will provide a useful practical tool for on-line monitoring, diagnosis and control of automotive engine performance.
