| Abstract: | The methods based on pitch point analysis need many procedures for correcting machine settings to manufacture spiral bevel gears.This paper proposes a direct method for generation of the gears that can provide ideal point conjugate gear tooth surfaces.The method using the results of tooth contact analysis(TCA) to design gear surfaces surports cutting the gears on a NC machine. |
