摘    要:描述了一种能自动模拟任意面形裂纹疲劳扩展的计算技术。该技术基于三维有限单元法和Paris疲劳裂纹扩展速率方程,并具有网格随裂纹扩展重新自动生成的能力。技术的实用性通过几个典型的工程裂纹模拟实例得到了说明。

Abstract:A numerical technique developed by the authors,which can automatically simulate fatigue crack growth for arbitrary planar defects,is briefly described.The technique,based on the three dimensional finite element analysis,employs the Paris law of fatigue crack growth rate and has a capability of regenerating the finite element meshes as the crack grows.The applicability of the technique is demonstrated by modelling several typical engineering defects.
