| Abstract: | The advanced technology of device fault diagnosis is developing in the direction of fault pattern recognition, fault diagnosis decision support system and fault diagnosis expert system, which are all aided by computers. A theory and method of intelligent fault diagnosis is evolving. This paper introduces the general situation and prospect of the intelligent diagnosis. A preliminary discussion to the essence of the intelligent diagnosis, what it will be like in the future, and so on is also devoted. |
