For realization the design of a compact three panels LCOS projection system, firstly three panels LCOS projection imaging system mechanism and compact optical engine realization method are introduced, and projection lens design requirement is analyzed, the detailed specification of projection lens design is described, then design process, designed data are presented, lastly projection lens and projection system sample test result are given, sample test data show the design can satisfy the requirement of the product development, now the improving work is going on for production.
