| Abstract: | This paper puts forward a new method to measure the pose of the Stewart platform based on stereo vision and mainly focuses on the image processing. To satisfying the requirements on real time and precision, we do partial detection and take advantage of the continuity of image sequences. Several methods are tried to calculate image coordinates of feature points and good outcomes have been resulted with a fast algorithm, which only needs much shorter time than other ways. Stereo matching, which is always a hard problem, can also be completed without any difficulty by exploiting the characteristics of the system. |
