| Abstract: | The research status quo of the ceramet cutting tool materials is investigated and surveyed systematically. The principles for designing ceramet materials and the strengthening and toughening mechanisms of ceramet materials are introduced. The research direction of ceramet materials is finally pointed out for instructing new ceramic material design. |
