Maintainability Consideration in the Design of BIW Welding Line Tooling Equipment

The functionality of the BIW welding line tooling has always been the focus of design engineers,but its convenience of maintenance is easy to be ignored.The convenience of maintenance directly affects the maintenance efficiency and cost,and even affects the normal production.It was put forward that the maintainability should be taken into consideration in the design stage of the BIW welding line tooling equipment,and the maintainability of conventional BIW welding line tooling and equipment was combed.The practice of the project shows that the equipment with good maintainability can improve the maintenance efficiency of the welding line and reduce the maintenance cost.
