Abstract:With the development of the automobile industry, automobiles have kept improving the processing requirements of metal materials, especially the metal quality and processing accuracy of the axles. However, the current rapid forging machine for processing axles uses a liquid-filled tank for rehydration, which cannot achieve high-quality and high-precision processing. There are two shortcomings in using the filling tank for rehydration: one is the low pressure of the filling tank. After the slider contacts the work-piece downward, the hydraulic oil flow rate is low and the fluid replenishment takes a long time, resulting in slow pressure build-up, resulting in low work efficiency; second, the hydraulic cylinder inlet The pressure and the downward speed of the slider have a greater influence on the cavitation in the hydraulic cylinder. This paper established the model of the rapid refill device through Ansys, and performed calculation simulation and numerical analysis, and studied the influence of the inlet pressure of the refill device of the rapid forging machine and the descending speed of the slider on the fluid replenishment flow rate and cavitation amount. It is found that the fluid supplement flow rate increases with the increase of inlet pressure, while the cavitation volume decreases. Reducing the downward speed of the slider (piston) will help reduce the amount of cavitation and increase the control accuracy.
