建立AA2219铝合金搅拌摩擦焊接的工艺窗口。采用不同的工艺参数如旋转速度和焊接速度来焊接该铝合金。通过对焊接接头的宏观形貌分析,建立搅拌摩擦焊的工艺窗口。通过拉伸试验、显微组织观察,对工艺窗口不同区域的接头强度进行分析。焊接接头断裂的位置与最低硬度分布相关。所建立的工艺窗口可以用来选择适当的工艺参数来获得高质量的AA2219铝合金搅拌摩擦焊接。  相似文献

通过对铝合金搅拌摩擦焊过程中各特征点温度的系统检测,得出了铝合金搅拌摩擦焊过程中温度场变化的基本规律.焊接过程中材料旋入侧温度高于材料旋出侧温度,上层温度高于下层温度,焊缝中心的温度最高,焊接结束时被焊材料末端的温度较焊接稳定区有所升高.  相似文献

A356是一种高强度铝硅铸造态合金,广泛用于食品、化工、船舶、电器和汽车行业。熔焊这种铸造合金时存在许多问题,如孔隙、微裂隙、热裂等。然而,用搅拌摩擦焊(FSW)来焊接这种铸造态合金可以避免上述缺陷发生。研究了搅拌摩擦焊工艺参数对铸造态A356铝合金抗拉强度的影响;对旋转速度、焊接速度和轴向力等工艺参数进行优化;从宏观和微观组织分析角度对焊接区的质量进行分析;对焊接接头的抗拉强度进行了测定,并对抗拉强度与焊缝区硬度和显微组织的相关性进行了研究。在旋转速度1000r/min、焊接速度75mm/min和轴向力5kN的条件下得到的焊接接头具有最高的抗拉强度。  相似文献

Fusion welding of cast A319 (Al-Si-Cu) alloy will lead to many problems including porosity, micro-fissuring, and hot cracking. Friction Stir Welding (FSW) can be used to weld A319 alloy without these defects. In this investigation, an attempt has been made to study the effect of FSW process parameters on the tensile strength of A319 alloy welded joints. Joints were made using different combinations of tool rotation speed, welding speed, and axial force, each at four levels. The quality of weld zone was analyzed using macrostructure and microstructure analysis. Tensile strength of the joints were evaluated and correlated with the weld zone microstructure. The joint fabricated with a 1200 rpm tool rotation speed, 40 mm/min welding speed, and 4 kN axial force showed superior tensile strength compared with the other joints.  相似文献

In this study, orbital friction stir lap welding of 360?mm diameter AA5083-H321 tube to 350?mm diameter AA5083-O flange was investigated. The influence of rotational and travel speed of tool with triangular frustum pin on the metallurgical structure and mechanical properties of orbital friction stir lap welded samples were studied. The results indicated that defect free orbital lap joints are successfully obtained using tool rotational speed of 650 and 800?rev?min?1 with a constant travel speed of 40?mm?min?1. The strengthening mechanism in the stir zone is solid solution strengthening and dislocation looping. The maximum joint strength was achieved at a welding speed of 650?rev?min?1 and 40?mm?min?1. Failure of tensile shear test samples occurred far from the friction stir welding zone.  相似文献

Ultrasonic assisted friction stir welding (UAFSW) is a recent modification of conventional friction stir welding, which adds ultrasonic energy directly into the friction stir welding area by the pin. In this study, 2A12 aluminum alloy was welded by this process and conventional, respectively. The tensile tests, microstructure and fracture surface of FSW joint and UAFSW joint were analyzed. The research results show that the surface forming texture of ultrasonic assisted friction stir welding joint, compared with conventional, is finer and more uniform, showing metallic matte color. The grains are much finer in weld nugget zone, thermo-mechanically affected zone and heat-affected zone; S-phase particles size is much smaller and distribution is more homogeneous in the matrix. The tensile strength of UAFSW joint is 94. 13% of base metal, and the elongation is 11.77%. The tensile strength of FSW joint is 83.15% of base metal, and the elongation is 8.81%. The tests results reveal that ultrasonic vibration can improve the tensile strength and the elongation of welded joints.  相似文献

对10 mm厚的铝硅铜合金进行了双面搅拌摩擦焊接,研究了焊接接头的显微组织及力学性能.研究表明,铸态金属晶粒和硅粒子在双面搅拌摩擦焊接过程中得到细化,硅颗粒分布均匀化.反面焊道比正面焊道的晶粒细化和硅粒子均匀化作用更明显.异向焊接的接头强度较低,所有接头均断在焊缝的前进侧.同向焊接的接头强度较高,接头断裂位置取决于焊接参数.选用搅拌头旋转频率为950 r/min、焊接速度为10mm/min的参数焊接时,同向接头表面成形好、内部无缺陷,其强度可达母材的87.4%.  相似文献

Friction stir welding(FSW) is an innovative solid state joining technique and has been employed in aerospace, rail, automotive and marine industries for joining aluminium, magnesium, zinc and copper alloys. The FSW process parameters such as tool rotational speed, welding speed, axial force, play a major role in deciding the weld quality. Two methods, response surface methodology and artificial neural network were used to predict the tensile strength of friction stir welded AA7039 aluminium alloy. The experiments were conducted based on three factors, three-level, and central composite face centered design with full replications technique, and mathematical model was developed. Sensitivity analysis was carried out to identify critical parameters. The results obtained through response surface methodology were compared with those through artificial neural networks.  相似文献

Al-Zn-Mg-Cu系超高强铝合金具有较高的强度和优异的综合力学性能。对超高强铝合金板进行了不同工艺参数的搅拌摩擦焊接,结果表明:所有接头的NZ组织均为细小的等轴晶粒,且晶粒尺寸伴随焊接速度的升高而减小,伴随焊头旋转速度的增加而增加。接头显微硬度的最大差值为100 HV,这导致焊接接头具有严重的严重机械异质性。相比于母材,焊接接头的拉伸性能明显下降。  相似文献

A friction stir welding process, with a rotating tool without a probe, was employed and applied to a lap joint of aluminium plate. The thickness of the aluminium plates was 0.5 mm. New tool shapes were developed. The tops of the tool were dome shaped. In this process, the rotating tool was plunged into the aluminium plate. The tool-rotating axis was vertical to the specimen surface, and then moved in the welding direction at a speed of 20 mm/s. Tool rotation speed was 18,000 rpm.

At tool plunge depths of 0.1 mm or over, it was possible to weld the two plates. At tool plunge depth of 0.1 mm, its joint was fractured at the weld interface. At tool plunge depth of 0.2 mm or over, the joints were fractured at the stir zone of the upper plate or the heat affected zone of the lower plate. Based on observation of the hardness profiles and the thickness change of the weld area, controlling factors of the joint strength are discussed.  相似文献

对5mm厚的1050-H24铝合金板材进行了双面搅拌摩擦焊接(FSW),重点研究了接头的拉伸性能和断裂部位及其影响因素。研究结果表明,一次焊接参数、二次焊接参数和焊接方向对双面FSW接头的拉伸性能和断裂部位有不同程度的影响。一次焊接参数的影响较小,而二次焊接参数的影响显著并且存在最佳取值。同向焊接的接头强度较高且断在前进侧(AS)或后退侧(RS),而异向焊接的接头强度较低且只断在AS。在文中的试验条件下,1500r/min的旋转速度、400mm/min的二次焊速和同向焊接方式是最佳的工艺组合,接头最高强度达到母材强度的78%。  相似文献

In automotive applications, friction stir spot welding (FSSW) has been practically used in the construction of aluminium car bodies. In this study, the weld strength and factors governing the weld strength in the friction stir spot welded aluminium alloy 6061-T6 were examined. The weld strength increased with the process time during FSSW up to 3 s, beyond which it decreased. The fracture path changed from the lapped interface into the shoulder edge as the process time increased, and the maximum strength was obtained at the process time when the transition of the fracture path occurred. The cross-sectional microstructure depended on the threads on the probe surface, i.e. the elliptical zone was formed in the stir zone by the threads, but an effect of the thread on the weld strength was hardly found. The present study suggests that the weld strength was strongly related to the size of the well-consolidated region, which was larger than the elliptical zone observed in the vicinity of the exit hole.  相似文献

AA2219 aluminium alloy (Al-Cu-Mn alloy) has gathered wide acceptance in the fabrication of lightweight structures requiring a high strength-to-weight ratio and good corrosion resistance. In contrast to the fusion welding processes that are routinely used for joining structural aluminium alloys, the friction stir welding (FSW) process is an emerging solid state joining process in which the material that is being welded does not melt and recast. This process uses a non-consumable tool to generate frictional heat in the abutting surfaces. The welding parameters such as tool rotational speed, welding speed, axial force etc., and the tool pin profile play a major role in determining the joint strength. An attempt has been made here to develop a mathematical model to predict the tensile strength of friction stir welded AA2219 aluminium alloy by incorporating FSW process parameters. A central composite design with four factors and five levels has been used to minimize the number of experimental conditions. The response surface method (RSM) has been used to develop the model. The developed mathematical model has been optimized using the Hooke and Jeeves search technique to maximize the tensile strength of the friction stir welded AA2219 aluminium alloy joints.  相似文献

搅拌摩擦焊(Friction Stir Welding,简称FSW)是20世纪90年代新出现的一种新型的固态塑化连接工艺。对于用熔化焊难于焊接的有色金属,其应用潜力较大。针对我国常用的LF5铝合金,试验研究了该铝合金的搅拌摩擦焊工艺和主要工艺参数对焊缝成形和接头力学性能的影响。试验表明:当ω/υ为一定值,在一定的工艺范围内,焊缝的机械性能随着ω的增加而增加,当工艺参数取得最佳值时,接头的抗拉强度可达到母材的90%以上,延伸率可达到母材的80%以上。  相似文献

The results of testing friction stir welding quality in relation to EN AC-43200 (AK9) and EN AC-45000 (AK64) aluminium casting alloys are presented. The test joints were made with the use of a welding machine constructed on the basis of numerically controlled milling machines. The assessment of the joint quality was made based on visual inspection, mechanical testing, weldment structure analysis and hardness tests. The purpose of the investigation was to discover the possibility of friction stir welding of casting alloys and the influence of welding conditions on joint properties and structure. The test results show good weldability of aluminium casting alloys by the FSW method. Sound welds can be obtained in a relatively wide range of welding parameters while the weld strength is satisfactory. In order to obtain the highest quality joints, the workpieces must be pressed onto the other, while the welding process cannot run with excessively high speed. The best mechanical properties of the joints were achieved when the friction process was conducted at a rotational speed of the mixing tool of 900 rpm.  相似文献
