The luminescent properties of PbW04: Gd3 were studied. The luminescence of Gd3 in PbWO4: Gd3 was quenched. It is possible that the excitation states of Gd3 locate in the conduction band of PbW04 crystal. The luminescent intensity of the green and the blue band of PbW04 emission increases by doping with about 0.005% and 0.01% (molar fraction) Gd3 respectively. Mechanism of this enhancement of PbWO4:Gd3 luminescence is probably due to energy transfer from Gd3 to PbW04 host in the crystal. The PbW04 doped with low concentration of Gd (about 0.005% -0.01% ) is a good scintillating material.  相似文献

The phosphate glass doped with Gd3+,Tb3+ and Gd3+/Tb3+ were prepared by high temperature melting.The photo-luminescence behavior of Gd3+ and Tb3+ in phosphate glass were investigated by absorption,excitation,and emission spectroscopy.Energy transfer between Gd3+ and Tb3+ in phosphate glass was studied,and it was found that there were two energy transfer mechanisms between Gd3+ and Tb3+ in phosphate glass: one was from 4f7 level of Gd3+ to the 4f8 level of Tb3+,and the other was from 5d level of Tb3+ to 4f7 level of Gd3+.The new findings would be beneficial for the study of Tb3+-doped scintillating phosphate glass.  相似文献

Er3 :Y0.5Gd0.5VO4 crystal with good optical quality was grown by Czochraski method. The structure of the crystal was determined by X-ray powder diffraction method. The segregation coefficient of Er3 ions in the crystal was measured by the ICP method. The absorption and emission spectra were also measured. On the basis of the spectra, the absorption cross-sections, emission spectrum FWHM and fluorescence lifetime of the crystal were calculated. From the properties mentioned above.  相似文献

利用本体聚合制备出了含钆有机玻璃,甲基丙烯酸钆含量分别为10%,15%,20%,25%,30%,并考查了不同甲基丙烯酸钆量有机玻璃的透光率、耐溶剂性、冲击强度、洛氏硬度、维卡软化温度、动态力学性能和同步热分析性能。实验结果表明,随着甲基丙烯酸钆量的提高,耐溶剂性能、洛氏硬度、维卡软化温度、耐热性能均明显提高。含钆有机玻璃甲基丙烯酸钆量达到30%,透光率82%,洛氏硬度87.8HRR,冲击强度2.35 kJ.m-2,维卡软化温度138.4℃。与纯有机玻璃相比,洛氏硬度提高了48HRR,维卡软化温度提高了73℃,玻璃化转变温度提高了32℃。含钆有机玻璃具有较好的透明性、耐溶剂性、表面硬度和耐热性。  相似文献

(Y, Gd)Al3(BO3)4∶Eu3 samples were prepared by the conventional solid state reaction. The XRD results indicate that the crystal symmetry is low. The excitation spectrum is composed of two broad bands centered at about 170 and 250 nm respectively. In the emission spectra, the peak wavelength is about 616 nm under 147 nm VUV excitation. The luminescent chromaticity coordinate and the relative intensity change along with Gd3 mole concentration in the range of 0.15 to 0.85 mol(and Eu3 mole concentration, 0.02 to 0.1 mol). The correlative data show that the concentration quenching occurs when the Eu3 mole concentration ranges from 0.02 to 0.1 mol, and the Gd3 →Gd3 , Gd3 →Eu3 and host→Eu3 , Gd3 energy transfers exist, and Gd3 mole concentration influences Eu3 emission.  相似文献
