The vapor pressures of theβ-diketonates Y(THD), Ba(THD), and Cu(THD), commonly used as precursors for MOVPE of YBa2Cu3O7, and Y(MCP) were measured at different temperatures. A time-resolved static method recording the pressure vs. time at constant temperature was used, permitting us to deduce the vapor pressure even if the materials tend to decompose. The values of the constants of the Clausius-Clapeyron equation log10p(T)/p 0=A-B/T are,A=11.7, 8.7, 8.27, 16.6 andB=4359, 2654, 3602, and 6453 K for Y(THD), Y(MCP), Ba(THD), and Cu(THD), respectively withp 0= 1 Pa and temperatureT in K. The thermal stability of the sources was measured and are discussed.  相似文献

Submicrometer epitaxial films of YBa2Cu3O7(YBCO) on (100) LaAlO3 were made by coevaporation and furnace annealing. Samples from more than a dozen runs are used in this study. The zero resistance transition temperature (T c) is high (89 or 90 K) if the film composition is phase pure (Ba/Y=2, Cu/Y=3) or if it is enriched in Ba and Cu. For these compositions the critical current density (J c) at 77 K has an average value of 2×105 A cm–2, with a tendency for decreasingJ c with increasing film thickness (0.2 to 0.8m). Variations inJ c are not correlated with deviations from ideal stoichiometry. Steeper slopes of the resistance-temperature curves above 100 K and lower values of the room-temperature resistivity are associated with high values ofJ c. If the film composition is enriched in Y relative to Ba and Cu,T c decreases by several degrees.  相似文献

The magnetic susceptibility, NMR spectra, nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate (T 1 –1) and the echo-decay rate (T 2 –1) of 63Cu were measured for the electron-doped infinite-layer superconductor Sr0.93La0.07CuO2/T c onset = 42.4 K). The results obtained revealed a clear tendency toward frustrated phase separation in this nominally underdoped high-T c material. Above T c the 63Cu Knight shift is found to decrease upon cooling giving an evidence for a pseudogap-like decrease of the spin susceptibility. It is shown that unusual anisotropy of the 63Cu Knight shift in the electron-doped CuO2 layer can be understood as a compensation effect between the isotropic hyperfine coupling, mediated by the 4s Fermi-contact and 3d core-polarization exchange interactions, and the anisotropic on-site spin-dipolar hyperfine interaction of the Cu nuclei with the itinerant carriers, whose states near the Fermi energy have a sizeable admixture of Cu(4pz) and/or Cu(3dz 2) orbitals.  相似文献

A 1201-phase superconductor (Pb0.5Cu0.5)SrLaCuO exhibiting a zero-resistance (R=0) state at 21 K has been synthesized. Neutron Rietveld refinement of the structure shows substantial oxygen disorder in the (Pb/Cu)-O(3) monolayer and excess occupancy of oxygen at the O(3) sites. The superconducting behavior of (Pb0.5Cd0.5)SrLaCuO , prepared under identical conditions, yields a value ofT c (R=0) equal to 24 K. The presence of extra oxygen appears to be responsible for trapping of holes within the rock-salt (Pb/Cu)-O(3).  相似文献

Mean polarizabilities 0(0, T) as well as second and third virial coefficients B(T) and C(T) of the equation of state of the gases C2H4, C2H6, and SF6 have been determined from refractive index measurements with a Michelson interferometer for wavelength 0=632.99 nm in the overall ranges 250 KT 340 K and 0p3 MPa of temperature T and pressure p. Some negative C(T) values at low temperatures have been obtained. The C(T) data could be fitted satisfactorily to the simple three-parameter function C(T)= a(T–T 0) exp[ –b(T–T 0)], with the maximum near the critical temperature T c. A possible correlation between C(T) and the vapor pressure p v(T) is discussed.  相似文献

The structures of A: YBa2Cu4O8 (T c=80 K), B: Y0.9Ce0.1Ba2Cu4O8 (T c=5K), and C: YBa2.2Cu4O8 (T c=80 K) have been investigated using the powder neutron technique with a view to assessing the influence of the bridging Cu(2)-O(4) and Cu(1)-O(4) bonds on the superconducting transition temperature. The Cu(2)-O(4) bond for samples A and C (withT c=80 K) appears to be compressed as compared to the reported data. On the other hand, the substitution of Ce at 10% Y sites elongates the Cu(2)-O(4) bond substantially and also brings theT cdown to 55 K. The role of Cu(2)-O(4) bond length as well as other parameters expected to influence theT cbehavior of Y-124 samples are discussed in the light of the present data. The study also shows that the ambient oxygen pressure route, if tried with the starting composition YBa2.2Cu4O y , leads to a quite homogeneous 124-phase.  相似文献

In this study, the measured curves of AC susceptibility (ACS) components, (T) and (T), of polycrystalline RuSr2GdCu2O8 (Ru-1212) superconductor were scaled onto a single curve using the peak temperature of its imaginary part (T p) as the scaling parameter for various AC field amplitudes from 0.5 to 24 G. The dependence of the AC magnetic field amplitude on T p is scaled as: H ac (1–T p/T c)2.25. Similarly, the current density J c, extracted from the AC field amplitude is also scaled as: J c (1 – T p/T c)2.25. The dependencies of T p on frequency and AC field amplitude are also investigated and the time parameter t 0 of the order of 10–8 s is estimated from the dependence of T p on frequency. The dependencies of activation energy on temperature, T, and the field amplitude, H ac, are obtained from the Arrhenius-like semilog plot of frequency () and T p. Such dependencies on temperature and field amplitude can be described by a scaling law of the form: U(H ac,T) = U 0[1 – T/T p]H ac –0.17.  相似文献

LaBa2Cu3–y Fe y O x ceramic samples with y = 0.00–1.50 are synthesized by the solid-state reaction technique. Rietveld analysis for X-ray diffraction is performed on these iron-doped samples. A BaCuO2 impurity phase and a ceramic cuprate phase coexist in each sample. An orthorhombic-to-tetragonal (OT) phase transition occurs in the doping range of 0.03y0.06, and a tetragonal-to-orthorhombic (TO) one occurs in the doping level of 0.10y0.25. There is a jump in the structural parameters due to the iron doping. The occupancy of oxygen at the O(4) site, which is in the La plane at z = 1/2, increases with increase in iron content. These results may relate to the iron preferential occupancy for the Cu(1) site at the lower doping level, and for Cu(2) sites at the higher doping level.  相似文献

The in situ process—laser ablation in combination with thermal evaporation of Tl2O—has turned out to be a preparation method for single-phase and epitaxial TlBa2Ca2Cu3O9 (1223) thin films with T c values up to 109 K. It was found by several groups that a partial substitution of Tl by Bi simplifies the phase development of the 1223 compound in the usual two-step process. We have investigated the influence of the Bi doping on the in situ growth. X-ray measurements show that the films consisted mainly of the 1223 compound. In 300-nm thin films there was no evidence of a Bi amount in the crystal structure, but thinner films (80 nm) show a small amount of Bi. We concluded that Bi doping supports the phase development of the 1223 compound only in an early stage of the film growth. The Bi-doped films have higher T c values up to 114 K, higher j c values up to 6 × 105 A/cm2 (77 K, 0 T), and lower surface resistances of 56 m (77 K, 87 GHz) than the undoped films.  相似文献

The partial substitution of Ga at the Cu(1) (chain) sites of the YBa2Cu3O7 structure allows synthesis at ambient pressure of Ba-free analogs, e.g., YSr2Cu2.7Ga0.3O7– . Materials with this composition have been found to be nonsuperconducting, but superconductivity has been induced by one or more of the following methods: Ca substitutions at the Y site; Ba substitutions at the Sr site; annealing in high-pressure oxygen. The influence of these chemical manipulations onT c has been monitored and all methods have been found to enhanceT c . The electronic effects of Ba substitutions have been deduced indirectly using powder neutron diffraction, and such substitutions appear to result in a redistribution of hole density into the Cu(1) sites from the superconducting CuO2 planes.  相似文献

In La2–x Ba x CuO4 (LBCO), the structural transition to a low-temperature tetragonal phase below 60 K and suppression of superconductivity are observed when the carrier density isp 1 /8 per copper. The replacement by divalent ions smaller than Ba2+ suppresses the static deformation of the lattice. We have found that the variationsT d2 and superconducting transition temperatureT c are quantitatively characterized by the averaged ionic radius at the La site or lattice parameters. This aspect of substitution could be regarded as the effect of chemical pressure, since similar variations have been reported on applying hydrostatic pressure. In La2–x–y Nd y (Ba, Sr) x CuO4,T d2 increases with increasingy in a wide range ofp whileT c is suppressed only at p l /8. The structural transition atT d2 here should be ascribed mainly to the crystallochemical origin.  相似文献

The nominal (Hg0.7Cr0.3)Sr2(Ca0.7Y0.3)Cu2O6 + , referred to as (Hg,Cr)-1212, were successfully synthesized at high temperature in partial vacuum. The samples were subsequently annealed in Ar or O2 annealed at 300°C under ambient pressure. No T c was observed in any of these samples down to 12 K which is in contrast to high pressure synthesized Y-free (Hg,Cr)-1212 phase where the latter exhibits a superconductivity at 80 K. The divalent state of Cu, as shown by XANES in the as-prepared (Hg,Cr)-1212, is not affected either by Ar or O2 annealing. Depletion of holes due to trivalent Y substitution at the Ca-site, and a relatively higher 'a' lattice parameter (3.851 Å) are the apparent reasons for the non-superconducting nature of the samples.  相似文献

We present the percolation and electronic properties of (Y1Ba2Cu3O7– )1–xAgx compounds in which silver fills the intergranular space without reducing Tc, which remains at 92 ± 1 K. Normal-state resistivity is decreased by up to two orders of magnitude when adding up to 50 wt.% Ag (T c=87 K), and samples exhibit improved contact resistance, better mechanical properties, and resistance to water. We analyzed the percolation properties of these compounds and found that the critical indicest, s are in agreement with percolation theory, butp c is higher than expected, probably due to the effect of holes. TheJ c estimated from magnetization reaches 5 · 104A/cm2 (atT = 4.2K,H = 0) and shows enhancement of 15–50% by addition of 10 wt.% Ag, which exists also in samples having a higherJ c due to preparation conditions (temperature). We present preliminary results on the 2D percolation problem in (Y1Ba2Cu3O[7– )1–xAgx samples, obtained by preparing Y1Ba2Cu3O7– thick films using the spin-on technique. Preliminary results show good adhesion but a reduced Tc of Y1Ba2Cu3O7– films compared with bulk samples.  相似文献

The chemical control of underdoped and overdoped states in the Y(Ba2 – y Sr y )Cu3O6 + (0.1 and 0.9) compounds has been observed by high-resolution O K-edge X-ray-absorption near-edge-structure spectra. The chemical substitution of Sr for Ba in the fully-oxygenated Y(Ba2–y Sr y )Cu3O6 + (0.9) compounds gives rise to high hole concentrations within both the CuO2 planes and the out-of-plane sites, leading to the overdoped state and the decrease in the superconducting transition temperature from 92 K for y=0 to 84 K for y=0.8. In contrast, an increase in the Sr content in the oxygen-deficient Y(Ba2 – y Sr y )Cu3O6 + (0.1) compounds did not indicate superconductivity. The oxygen-deficient compounds exhibit the underdoped state due to the low hole concentration.  相似文献

Muon spin rotation ( +SR) measurement provides clear evidence of the antiferromagnetic order of Cu moments below 35 K for La2–x Ba x CuO4 and below 15 K for La2–x Sr x CuO4 in the narrow range ofx where the high-T c superconductivity (SC) is suppressed remarkably. The results suggest that the change of the electronic state coupled with the lattice instability is relevant to the local suppression of SC and freezing of spin fluctuations of the Cu moment.  相似文献

The charge-transfer hypothesis is shown to be inconsistent with data for YBa2Cu3Ox: (i) The two-step behavior ofT c(x) (with jumps from zero to 60 K and then to 90 K) is not reflected as a similar, statistically significant two-step behavior in the bond-valence-sum charge of cuprate-plane Cu ions (as once believed), (ii) as a consequence of the law of conservation of charge, the derivatives of the layer charges with respect to oxygen contentx for both the Ba-O layers and the charge-reservoir Cu-O chains have the opposite signs to those predicted, and (iii) the charge-transfer observed for superconducting YBa2Cu3Ox is not sufficient to produce superconductivity, as demonstrated by insulating PrBa2Cu3Ox, which has virtually the same layer charges.  相似文献

A superconductor with nominal composition Hg0.8Mo0.2Sr2Y0.5Ca0.5Cu6+ withT c up to 96 K has been isolated and carefully examined by electron diffraction and X-ray energy dispersive spectrum analyses. Its structure can be attributed to space groupP4/mmm and lattice constantsa=3.82 å andc=11.91 å. Inhomogeneous distribution of the cations was observed, which is considered to be the key to the broadening ofT c in theR-T curve. The effect of humid atmosphere on the stability of the sample has also been investigated.  相似文献

Joining YBa2Cu3O6.5+ (123 phase) and Bi4Sr4Ca2Cu4O16+ (4424 phase) as structurally characterized high-T c , superconductors, the thallium-containing superconductor (Tl.75Bi.25)1.33Sr1.33Ca1.33Cu2O6.667+ with the ideal stoichiometry (Tl,Bi)1Sr2Ca1Cu2O6.5+ (1212 phase) is reported here. As prepared from the component oxides, 1212 has an initial deviation from resistance linearity at 120 K, a superconducting onset temperature of 92 K, and zero resistance at 75 K. The tetragonal unit cell (P4/mmm, a=3.800 Å;c=12.072 Å, deduced from powder data) contains double copper oxygen sheets (like 4424 and 123) that alternate withsingle thallium-bismuth oxygen sheets (in contrast to 4424, which containsdouble bismuth oxygen sheets), resulting in a total of three stacked perovskite-like cells (as in 123). The copper oxide sheets (with intersheet spacing 3.38 Å) are separated by Ca2+ and the Cu oxide sheets and (Tl,Bi) oxide sheets (with spacing 4.35 Å) are separated by Sr2+, Ca2+, and excess (Tl,Bi)3+. The 1212 cell constitutes the building block for the centered, more complex 4424 cell. The 1212 structure persists to Bi contents as low as 1% and can also be stabilized by Pb instead of Bi; Tl cuprates also form other superconductors with lowerT c .  相似文献

A microwave superconducting magnetometer is described in which a microstrip resonator is coupled to a two-hole high-T c thin-film SQUID device. Both the microstrip circuit and the thin-film SQUID were fabricated by photolithography techniques. The YBCO thin film was deposited on single-crystal substrate of yttria-stabilized zirconia [YSZ(100)] by an ion beam sputtering technique producing a superconducting transition measured at a critical temperature ofT c =92 K to within T 3 K. Non linear oscillatory behavior was observed in the microstrip resonator when inductively coupled to the SQUID. This nonlinear behavior yielded a microwave device in which the reflected microwave power varied with applied DC magnetic flux.  相似文献

The structural and superconducting properties of single-phase La2.5–y Y0.5Ca1+y Ba3 (Cu0.88Fe0.12)7O z (LYCaBCuFe) (y= 0.0–1.0) compounds with triple perovskite structure are investigated using X-ray diffraction, resistivity, a.c. susceptibility, and oxygen content measurements. Increasing Ca substitution for La resulted in a decrease in unit cell axes and volume. T c R=0 shows a marginal increase from 31 K to 37 K for y = 0.0–0.21 and thereafter it decreases with increasing y leading to zero T c R=0 at y 0.84. This shows that the suppression of T c from 80 K to 31 K by Fe doping at x = 0.12 La2.5Y0.5CaBa3(Cu1–x Fe x )7O z cannot be compensated by appropriate hole doping with Ca in LaYCaBCuFe.  相似文献
