Mixed-oxide prepared Ca0.7Ti0.7La0.3Al0.3O3 (CTLA) ceramics (≈96% dense), grain size 6–7 μm, with dielectric properties (at 4 GHz) of ɛr≈46, Q × f ≈38 000 GHz, and τf+13 ppm/°C, were studied at 25°–1300°C using synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction. At room temperature, CTLA exhibits a distorted orthorhombic structure, with two tilt systems: a =5.40383 (4) Å, b =5.41106 (6) Å, and c =7.64114 (7) Å with space group Pbnm . At 1050°±25°C, there is a transition from orthorhombic ( Pbnm ) to tetragonal ( I 4/ mcm ), with a simpler tilt arrangement. The lattice parameters at 1100°C were: a =5.44285 (4) Å and c =7.68913 (8) Å.  相似文献

Unit-cell parameters of the α-tricalcium phosphate [TCP; Ca3(PO4)2] were investigated using high-resolution synchrotron powder diffraction and the Rietveld method. The diffraction experiment was conducted at 29°C at the BL-15XU experimental station of SPring-8, Japan. Precise unit-cell parameters of the α-TCP were obtained; a =12.87271 (9), b =27.28034(8), c =15.21275(12) Å, α=γ=90°, and β=126.2078(4)°. The calculated density of α-TCP (2.8677 g/cm3) is smaller than that of β-TCP, indicating the "looser" structure of α-TCP.  相似文献

A high dielectric constant and low-loss ceramic with composition Sr4LaTiNb3O15 has been prepared by the conventional solid-state ceramic route. This compound adopts an A5B4O15 cation-deficient hexagonal perovskite structure and crystallizes in the trigonal system with unit cell parameters a =5.6307(2), c =11.3692(3) Å, V =312.16(2) Å3, and Z =1. The dielectric properties of dense ceramics sintered in air at 1460°C have been characterized at microwave frequencies. The results show that the material affords a relatively high dielectric constant ɛr∼43, a high quality factor Q × f ∼44 718 GHz, and a low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency TCf∼13 ppm/°C.  相似文献

The existence of compounds between Si3N4-CeO2 and Si3N4-Ce2O3 was investigated for firing temperatures of 1600° to 1700°C. The two new monoclinic compounds found were Ce2O3·2Si3N4 with lattice parameters a = 16.288, b = 4.848, and c =7.853 Å and β=91.54° and Ce4Si2O7N2 with lattice parameters a = 10.360, b = 10.865, and c =3.974 Å and β=90.33°. Cerium orthosilicate (Ce 4.67 (SiO4)3O) is present during firing as a glassy intermediate phase which promotes sintering and densification and then reacts with silicon nitride to form cerium silicon oxynitrde (CeSiO2N).  相似文献

An all-alkoxide route to films and nano-phase powders of the La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 perovskite is described. To our knowledge, this is the first purely alkoxide-based route to (La1− x Sr x )CoO3, and it yields phase-pure and elementally homogeneous perovskite at 700°C by heating at 2°C/min. At 700°C, a cubic unit cell was obtained with a c=3.853Å, and after further heating to 1000°C, a rhombohedral cell could be indexed: a r=5.417 Å, αr=59.94°. Ninety to 130 nm thick films of La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 were obtained by spin coating. The gel-to-oxide conversion was studied in some detail, using thermo-gravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, powder X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscope equipped with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer.  相似文献

The "subsolidus" phase relations at room temperature in the system CaO-B2O3-BaO are investigated. Specimens of various compositions were prepared from appropriate ratios of CaCO3, B2O3, and BaCO3, and fired from 780° to 1040°C according to their melting points. There are three ternary compounds in this system. The crystal structures of these compounds were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD). CaBa2(BO3)2 and Ca5Ba2B10O22 are monoclinic structures. The lattice constants a = 14.221 Å, b = 4.569 Å, c = 11.926 A, β= 99.947°, and V = 763.4 å3 for CaBa2(BO3)2 and a = 15.714 å, b = 6.184 å, c = 10.204 å, β= 93.954°, and V = 989.29 å3 for Ca5Ba2B10O22 are obtained. The third compound, CaBa2(B3O6)2, is isostructural with the high form of BaB2O4 with lattice constants a = 7.167 å and c = 35.298 å. Powder second harmonic generation efficiencies of these ternary compounds were measured using a homemade apparatus.  相似文献

The hexagonal perovskite, Ba8ZnTa6O24, was prepared in single-phase form and was found to be a stable secondary phase, formed as a result of the loss of ZnO from Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3 microwave dielectrics. The experimental and calculated X-ray patterns of Ba8ZnTa6O24 indicate it is isostructural with Ba8Ta6NiO24 with an 8H (cchc)2 close-packed BaO3 stacking sequence and the lattice parameters, a =10.0825(14), c =19.0587(38)Å. High-density ceramics of Ba8ZnTa6O24 could be prepared at temperatures considerably lower (1400°C) than those used to sinter pure Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3, and exhibit very good microwave dielectric properties with ɛ=30.5, Q f=62 300, and τf=+36 ppm/°C at 8.9 GHz.  相似文献

The system KF–AlF3 was reinvestigated precisely by differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffractometry, and visual observation. All of the samples for the present investigation were prepared by solution synthesis. The results verified the existence of 2KF·AlF3 (K2AlF5) and KF·4AlF3 in the phase diagram; both compounds were orthorhombic. The cell parameters of the compounds were, respectively, a = 10.87 ± 0.03 Å, b = 10.36 ± 0.01 Å, c = 7.83 ± 0.03 Å, and a = 7.89 ± 0.01 Å, b = 7.57 ± 0.01 Å, c = 6.94 ± 0.01 Å. KAlF4 was confirmed to melt congruently at 575°± 2°C by careful examination.  相似文献

The phase boundary between CrO2 and Cr2O3 was reinvestigated under high O2 pressures by using a new type of gas compressor. The boundary curve can be represented as log Po2= 7.16-(3579/ T ). Using the observed data, Δ G °, Δ H °, and Δ S ° for the reaction 2CrO2⇋Cr2O3+½O2 were calculated to be: Δ G °= -(1.55/100) T +7.60 kcal/mol, Δ H °= -8.19 kcal/mol, and Δ S °= (-15.8/ T )+0.0155 kcal/mol.  相似文献

Compounds containing rare earths are of increasing technological interest especially because of their unique mechanical, magnetic, electrical, and optical properties. Among them, rare earth oxyorthosilicates are attractive scintillators for γ- and X-ray spectroscopy and detection. However, there are many structural aspects of those compounds that are not clear. In this research, the structure parameters for Sc2Si2O5, X2-polymorph, have been refined from powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) data and the 29Si MAS NMR spectrum is reported for the first time. X2-Sc2SiO5 polymorph was synthesized by the sol–gel method and characterized by XRD and 29Si MAS NMR. The XRD pattern was indexed in a monoclinic unit cell with space group I 2/ c ; the resulting unit cell parameters were a =9.9674(2) Å, b =6.4264(9) Å, c =12.0636(2) Å, and β=103.938(1)°. The 29Si MAS NMR spectrum showed a unique signal at −79.5 ppm, compatible with the unique Si crystallographic site in the unit cell. Finally, the band valence method has been applied to the calculation of a "shift parameter," which is correlated with the NMR chemical shift.  相似文献

Phase relations in the system Bi2O3-WO3 were studied from 500° to 1100°C. Four intermediate phases, 7Bi2O3· WO3, 7Bi2O3· 2WO3, Bi2O3· WO3, and Bi2O3· 2WO3, were found. The 7B2O · WO3 phase is tetragonal with a 0= 5.52 Å and c 0= 17.39 Å and transforms to the fcc structure at 784°C; 7Bi2O3· 2WO3 has the fcc structure and forms an extensive range of solid solutions in the system. Both Bi2O3· WO3 and Bi2O3· 2WO3 are orthorhombic with (in Å) a 0= 5.45, b 0=5.46, c 0= 16.42 and a 0= 5.42, b 0= 5.41, c 0= 23.7, respectively. Two eutectic points and one peritectic exist in the system at, respectively, 905°± 3°C and 64 mol% WO3, 907°± 3°C and 70 mol% WO3, and 965°± 5°C and 10 mol% WO3.  相似文献

The syntheses and the results of unit-cell determinations ofBa3V4O13 and the two forms (low- and high-temperature) of Ba3P4O13 are presented. Ba3V4O13 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group Cc or C2/c with unit-cell dimensions a=16.087, b=8.948, c=10.159 (x10nm), β=114.52° Low-Ba3P4O13 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 or P1 with unit-cell dimensions a=5.757, b=7.243, c=8.104 (x10 nm) α=82.75°, β=73.94°, γ=70.71°. Low-Ba3P4O13 transforms at 870°C into high-Ba3P4O13 which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbcm (No. 57) (or Pbc2, No. 29) with unit-cell dimensions a =7.107, b=13.883, c=19.219 (x10 nm). No relations have been found between the structures of the tribarium tetravanadate and the tribarium tetraphosphate.  相似文献

The crystal structure and dielectric properties of LaYbO3 ceramics prepared by the mixed-oxide route have been investigated. Rietveld refinements performed on X-ray and neutron diffraction data show the room-temperature structure to be best described by the orthorhombic Pnma space group [ a =6.02628(9) Å, b =8.39857(11) Å, and c =5.82717(7) Å; Z =4, and theoretical density, D x =8.1 g/cm3] in agreement with electron diffraction experiments. LaYbO3 ceramics fired at 1600°C for 4 h attain ∼97% of D x and their microstructures consist of randomly distributed equiaxed grains with an average size of ∼8 μm. Conventional transmission electron microscopy shows densification to occur in the absence of a liquid phase and reveals domain-free grains. The relative permittivity, ɛr, of LaYbO3 ceramics at radio frequencies is ∼26 in the range ∼10–300 K; however, a small dielectric anomaly is detected at ∼15 K. At room temperature and microwave frequencies, LaYbO3 ceramics exhibit ɛr∼26, Q × f r∼20 613 GHz (at 7 GHz), and τf∼−22 ppm/K. Q × f r show complex subambient behavior, decreasing from a plateau value of ∼20 000 GHz between ∼300 and 200 K to a second plateau value of ∼6000 GHz at ∼90 K before decreasing to <1000 GHz at ∼10 K. The large decrease in Q × f r at low temperature may be related to the onset of antiferromagnetism at ∼2.7 K. 1  相似文献

The crystal structure of a lutetium silicon oxynitride (Lu4Si2O7N2) was analyzed by the Rietveld method using time-of-flight (TOF) neutron powder diffraction data. The compound crystallizes in a monoclinic cell, space group P 21/ c (No. 14-1) with a = 7.4243(1), b = 10.2728(1), c = 10.6628(1) Å, and β= 109.773(1)° at 297 K. One nitrogen atom in Lu4Si2O7N2 occupies the bridging site between the two Si atoms, and the other one is statistically situated at the terminal sites of Si2O5N2 ditetrahedra. In the local structure, Si2O5N2 ditetrahedra consist of SiO3N and SiO2N2 tetrahedral units sharing the N atom. Lu atoms are in sixfold, sevenfold (×2) and eightfold coordinations of O/N atoms. X-ray powder diffraction data were also analyzed with the model obtained by the neutron diffraction.  相似文献

A single-crystal X-ray study of dibarium nonatitanate, Ba2Ti9O20, yielded the triclinic space group P 1 with a =0.7471(1), b= 1.4081(2), c= 1.4344(2) nm, α=89.94(2)°, β= 79.43(2)°, γ= 84.45(2)°, V = 1.476 nm3 Z = 4, and Dx= 4.61 Mg/m3. A refinement of atomic coordinates and isotropic thermal parameters led to a residual of 0.03. The structure consists of hexagonally closest-packed layers of Ba and O atoms in the sequence (hch)3. All Ti atoms reside in octahedral interstices of this closest packing. The various Ti coordination octahedra share only edges and corners with each other. One-half of the Ba atoms is twelve-coordinated by oxygen atoms, the other half is eleven-coordinated.  相似文献

Composite ceramics in a solid solution of (Mg1− x Mn x )2TiO4 ( x =0.02–0.1) have been prepared by the mixed oxide route. Formation of the solid solution was confirmed by the X-ray diffraction, the EDX analysis, and the measured lattice parameters, which varied linearly from Mg2TiO4 ( a = b = c =8.4410 Å) to (Mg0.9 Mn0.1)2TiO4 ( a = b = c =8.4445 Å). The XRD analysis also confirmed the co-existence of a cubic-structured (Mg1− x Mn x )2TiO4 and an ilmenite-structured second phase (Mg1− x Mn x )TiO3. The composition expected to have a maximum Q × f (276 200 GHz at 10.5 GHz) is (Mg0.95Mn0.05)2TiO4 with ɛr∼15.69 and τf∼−52.6 ppm/°C. The existence of the second phase, however, would lead to no significant variation in the dielectric properties of the specimen because it possesses compatible properties compared with that of the main phase.  相似文献

Bi2O3 was added to a nominal composition of Zn1.8SiO3.8 (ZS) ceramics to decrease their sintering temperature. When the Bi2O3 content was <8.0 mol%, a porous microstructure with Bi4(SiO4)3 and SiO2 second phases was developed in the specimen sintered at 885°C. However, when the Bi2O3 content exceeded 8.0 mol%, a liquid phase, which formed during sintering at temperatures below 900°C, assisted the densification of the ZS ceramics. Good microwave dielectric properties of Q × f =12,600 GHz, ɛr=7.6, and τf=−22 ppm/°C were obtained from the specimen with 8.0 mol% Bi2O3 sintered at 885°C for 2 h.  相似文献

The columbites MgNb2O6, MgTa2O6, and corundum-type Mg4Nb2O9 ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid-state ceramic route. The structure and microstructure of the sintered samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopic techniques. The microwave dielectric properties of the samples were measured by the resonance method in the frequency range 4–6 GHz. The dielectric properties have been tailored by forming a solid solution between MgNb2O6 and MgTa2O6 and by the substitution of TiO2 for Nb2O5 in both MgNb2O6 and Mg4Nb2O9 ceramics. The Mg(Nb0.7Ta1.3)O6 has ɛr=29, Q u× f =67 800 GHz, and τf=0.8 ppm/°C and the MgO–(0.4)Nb2O5–(1.5)TiO2 composition has ɛr=34.5, Q u× f =81 300 GHz, and τf=−2 ppm/°C.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline α-Si3N4 powders have been prepared with a yield of 93% by the reaction of Mg2Si with NH4Cl in the temperature range of 450° to 600°C in an autoclave. X-ray diffraction patterns of the products can be indexed as the α-Si3N4 with the lattice constants a = 7.770 and c = 5.627 Å. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis indicates that the composition of the α-Si3N4 samples has a Si:N ratio of 0.756. Transmission electron microscopy images show that the α-Si3N4 crystallites prepared at 450°, 500°, and 550°C are particles of about 20, 40, and 70 nm in average, respectively.  相似文献

CaRAlO4 (R = Nd, Sm, Y) ceramics with a K2NiF4 structure were prepared by a solid-state reaction approach, and their microwave dielectric characteristics were evaluated, along with their microstructures. Dense CaNdAlO4, CaSmAlO4, and CaYAlO4 ceramics were obtained by sintering at 1425°–1500°C in air for 3 h, and good microwave dielectric characteristics were achieved: (1) ɛ= 18.2, Qf = 17 980 GHz, τf=−52 ppm/°C for CaNdAlO4; (2) ɛ= 18.2, Qf = 51 060 GHz, τf=−3 ppm/°C for CaSmAlO4; and (3) ɛ= 18.9, Qf = 39 960 GHz, τf= 6 ppm/°C for CaYAlO4.  相似文献
