对某柴油机的冷却系统进行数值模拟,包括了机体和气缸盖的水套.运用CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics)分析软件SC/Tetra计算温度场及流场.通过计算发现水套存在诸多不足,如机体水套冷却不均匀,机体进气侧与非进气侧冷却液流速相差大,鼻梁区流量偏小等缺陷.然后对其结构进行改进,取得了比较好的效果.  相似文献

The effects of EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) on heavy-duty diesel engine performance, NO and soot emissions were numerically investigated using the modified KIVA-3V code. For the fuel spray, the atomization model based on the linear stability analysis and spray wall impingement model were developed for the KIVA-3V code. The Zeldovich mechanism for the formation of nitric oxide and the soot model suggested by Hiroyasu et al. were used to predict the diesel emissions. In this paper, the computational results of fuel spray, cylinder pressure, and emissions were compared with experimental data, and the optimum EGR rates were sought from the NO and soot emissions trade-off. The results showed that the EGR is effective in suppressing NO but the soot emission was increased considerably by EGR. Using cooled EGR, soot emission could be enhanced without worsening of NO.  相似文献

A cycle simulation program is developed and its predictions are compared with the test bed measurements of a direct injection (DI) diesel engine. It is based on the mass and energy conservation equations with phenomenological models for diesel combustion. Two modeling approaches for combustion have been tested; a multi-zone model by Hiroyasu et al (1976) and the other one coupled with an in-cylinder flow model. The results of the two combustion models are compared with the measured imep, pressure trace and NOx and soot emissions over a range of the engine loads and speeds. A parametric study is performed for the fuel injection timing and pressure, the swirl ratio, and the squish area. The calculation results agree with the measured data, and with intuitive understanding of the general operating characteristics of a DI diesel engine.  相似文献

This paper presents an investigation of the running in of the most important contact surfaces of a modern diesel cam follower system. The test equipment used consists of a commercially available cylinder head with an overhead camshaft and valve train system for six cylinders. The load on the contacting surfaces is varied by controlling the fuel injector pumps. The running in is investigated by analysing the changes in topography of the roller, pin and rocker arm of the fuel injector arm. Seven test series were conducted for 1, 10 and 100 h with a variation of the load and speed between a high and low level.The test time was not long enough to be able to see any changes in the surface topography of the roller or pin surfaces. However the wear on the roller bearing surface and the rocker arm bearing surface was significant. Here the surface peak heights are worn off and the surfaces are smoothed out. The observed changes in surface topography are related to the current lubrication regime and the wear is discussed in terms of the λ-value.  相似文献

利用小波分析、BP神经网络技术处理柴油机工作时产生的振动信号。在输入层对振动信号进行小波变换,提取其在多尺度下的特征作为故障特征向量。根据这些特征向量进行BP网络的分析,以对柴油机进行故障诊断。在实验台上模拟了多个故障,并对柴油机工作时在汽缸盖上方振动信号采集和处理,对几种故障模式进行了成功的判别。结果表明此方法是可行和有效的。  相似文献

针对柴油机轴瓦磨损问题,为了研究滑动轴承磨损影响机理且由于现有设备无法满足试验要求,开发研制了一套滑动轴承磨损试验系统。利用该系统可进行主轴瓦和连杆瓦两种滑动轴承在结构、转速、载荷、磨粒、润滑油状态不同条件下磨损状态的模拟试验研究。在完成试验方法研究的基础上,着重介绍了该试验系统的液压模块、机械承载模块、润滑模块、试验控制模块等子系统的开发设计。该系统采用液压伺服的加载方式对模拟轴进行了拉压加载,采用变频器控制驱动电机转速,润滑油的压力及温度可以自由调节,并利用基于美国NI公司的LabVIEW环境的软件实现了对试验系统的自动控制以及试验数据实时显示和存储,实现了不同工况下的轴瓦磨损的模拟试验。研究结果表明,该试验系统可以实现试验功能,具有良好的试验性能,达到了试验系统开发的预期目标。  相似文献

Ferrography, developed over 10 years ago, has to date had restricted usage in the field of condition monitoring of diesel engines. A number of applications are illustrated where this technique has now been effectively utilized and reasons are also suggested for its restricted use in comparison with other existing techniques such as spectrographic oil analysis. In a typical cooling system of automotive engine, a mechanical water pump is used to control the flow rate of coolant. However, this traditional cooling system is not suitable for a high efficiency performance in terms of fuel economy and exhaust emission. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new technology for engine cooling systems. These days, the electronic water pump is spotlighted as the new cooling system of an engine. The new cooling system can provide more flexible control of the coolant flow rate and the engine temperature, which used to be strongly relied on the engine driving conditions such as load and speed. In this study, an engine experiment was carried out on a New European Drive Cycle (NEDC) with a 2.7L diesel engine. The electric water pump operated by BLDC motor and the electronic valve were installed in the cooling system to control the coolant flow rate and temperature. This paper explains that the exhaust emissions were reduced with an increase in the engine temperature and a decrease in the coolant flow. From this experiment, we found that increasing coolant temperature had a significant effect on reducing the emissions (e.g. THC and CO). Decreasing coolant flow also affected the reduction of emissions. In contrast, NOx emission was observed to increase in these conditions. This paper was presented at the 7th JSME-KSME Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference, Sapporo, Japan, October 2008. In August 2001, he began graduate study at the University of Florida. Kibum graduated with a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida in August 2003. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, also at the University of Florida, in August 2006. He is working as a research professor at Hanyang University. Ki-Hyung Lee is a Professor at the department of mechanical engineering in Hanyang University. He received his B.S and M.S degree in Hanyang University in 1983 and 1986. Supercharged diesel engines are a key element in diesel powertrains that have been extensively modelled yet often without explainable mathematical trends. The present paper demonstrates the analytical modelling of in-cylinder gas speed dynamics and engine brake power. These analytical models provide explainable mathematical trends. In addition, they provide gear-shifting-based modeling because the model parameters can be adjusted to reflect different driving conditions without the need for gathering field data. An unprecedented sensitivity analysis was conducted on these developed models for simplifying them. They were validated using experimental data and the relative error of the developed model of the in-cylinder gas speed dynamics was 9.8%. The study demonstrates with 73% coefficient of determination that the average percentage of deviation of the simulated results from the corresponding field data on the engine brake power is 6.9%. The relative error of the developed model of the engine brake power is 7%. These values of relative error are an order of magnitude of deviation that is less than that of widely recognized models in the field of vehicle powertrain modeling such as the CMEM and GT-Power. These analytically developed models serve as widely valid models. Having addressed and corrected flaws in the corresponding models, such as the model of the in-cylinder gas speed dynamics presented in a key reference in this research area, these developed models can help in better analyzing and assessing the performance of diesel engines.

利用AVL-HYDISM模拟软件建立了1105柴油机喷油系统的仿真模型,模拟了此柴油机标定工况下的喷油性能,从高压油管泵端压力以及嘴端压力两方面与试验值进行了比较,同时计算得出了样机燃油喷射规律以及压力室油压.分析了样机不足,通过改进供油凸轮使得燃油喷射压力得到提高.  相似文献

Pressure variations inside a fuel injection system can lead to fluctuations in injected fuel quantity during injections and therefore can directly impact the stability and performance coherence of the fuel injection system and the engine it matched. Concepts of hydraulic capacitance and hydraulic inductance are introduced into fuel injection system by referencing LC oscillator electric circuit. A LC undamped hydraulic mathematical model is developed based on the structural parameters of the electronic unit pump (EUP). Pressure fluctuation frequency during injection process at different operating conditions of the EUP is computed by the LC undamped model. It is observed that the frequencies of pressure fluctuations tend to increase with the fuel injection process. Pressure curves and pressure fluctuation frequencies obtained by experiments at different operating conditions validated the results predicted by the LC undamped mathematical model.  相似文献
