Mastering a technology for the lengthwise cutting of continuous-cast slabs

A new technology has been successfully introduced for cutting continuous-cast slabs into semifinished products that are then rolled on a 150 section-rod mill to obtain quality products. Introduction of the technology has freed up some of the deficit capacity of the 1250 blooming mill and the continuous 900/700/500 intermediate mill, allowing them to be used to make high-profit items that have brought additional revenue to the combine.     

Effect of hot strip processing during direct charging of thin slabs on the properties of cold strip of LC-steel

Direct charging of thin slabs of low carbon steel (0.05%C) was investigated by using laboratory tests on a thin-slab-casting Simulator linked with the hot deformation Simulator (Wumsi). Starting with a different initial thickness of simulated thin slabs (45 down to 25 mm) the total strain ?∑ was varied. Hot deformation schedules (with and without roughing) with different finishing temperatures T_F lead to some differences in the hot strip microstructure. Nevertheless, after cold rolling and batch annealing, a rather uniform pancake-structure and a pronounced {111}-texture were achieved in the cold strip without any significant relation to the processing routs. The measurement of final mechanical properties proved that a good deep drawability of cold strip can be achieved with direct charging of thin slabs, well comparable to that after a conventional cold charging of thick slabs.

铜带边部精整处理装备和技术的开发

目前国内外已有相关专家对变压器绕组的铜带边部精准处理进行了相关研究,但是对精准处理装备和处理技术没有涉及,本文分析了铜带边部精准处理情况,"五位一体"铜带边部处理精整处理装备的工作运行方式,该处理装置实现了对铜带边部缺陷的处理,为变压器绕组的安全稳定运行提供了技术支持。
