本文为移动自组网提出了一个基于动态蜂窝的QoS路由协议,它利用移动跟踪技术实现了一个分布式动态蜂窝生成协议;采用一个多Qos路由探测算法选择一条能够最大满足QoS要求的路由,并在这条路由上建立端.端主动资源预留;使用移动预测和被动资源预留技术预测源结点和目的结点可能进入的蜂窝集合,并在这些蜂窝集合与目的结点和源结点之间提前进行端.端被动资源预留;融合蜂窝动态检测技术与QoS路由修补技术自动发现和修补断裂的QoS路由.由于该路由协议模仿了固定蜂窝网络中的操作,所以,大大改善了QoS路由的性能.仿真结果表明:在满足QoS条件下,它明显提高了包传输率,减轻了路由负载. 相似文献

根据当前无线移动通信对多天线移动接收端性能仿真的要求,讨论并建立了适于空时信号处理的移动端矢量信道模型。通过分析无线移动信道特点。研究了影响接收信号幅度相位的诸多因素,建立了相应的数学模型。并对随机参数选取进行了探讨。其中考虑到移动端接收信号到达角扩散的特点,采用GBSB椭圆模型产生了适于移动端接收信号仿真的随机角度,改进了一种瑞利衰落生成算法。最后信道的数值仿真结果符合理论和经验。同时,通过TD-SCDMA系统链路级仿真,也证明了该信道模型的有效性。 相似文献

提出一种在无线移动环境下保障用户通信服务质量的资源预留扩展方案。该方案有效地利用了FMIPv6(Fast Handovers for Mobile IPv6)的工作过程,通过扩展FBU(Fast Binding Update)和HI(Handoff Initiate)消息,使其能够携带QoS(Quality of Service)对象,从而将移动管理和资源预留两个过程合并为一个过程。该方案引入了提前预留与公共路径利用等一系列新机制。分析结果表明,在无线移动环境下该方案能够有效地降低预留重建延迟,提高了链路资源的使用效率。 相似文献

Currently, the RSVP model, which is efficient resource reservation in the fixed endpoints, becomes invalid under host mobility. We investigate the problems of standard RSVP in providing real-time services in wireless mobile networks. We also observe carefully how to interoperate IntServ services over DiffServ networks, and how to map IntServ QoS parameters into a wireless link. We then identify the advantages and drawbacks of the existing RSVP proposals to support QoS under both micromobility and macromobility. Developed as a simple and cost-effective wireless technology for best effort services, IEEE 802.11 has gained popularity at an unprecedented rate. However, due to the lack of built-in quality of service support, IEEE 802.11 experiences serious challenges in meeting the demands of multimedia services and applications. This article surveys 802.11 QoS schemes, including service differentiation in the MAC layer, admission control and bandwidth reservation in MAC and higher layers, and link adaptation in the physical layer, designed to meet these challenges by providing the necessary enhancements for the required QoS. Furthermore, the article addresses issues that arise when end-to-end QoS has to be guaranteed in today's pervasive heterogeneous wired-cum-wireless networks. Among these challenges, protocol interoperability, multihop scheduling, full mobility support, and seamless vertical handoff among multiple mobile/wireless interfaces are specifically addressed. 相似文献

Mobility management and quality-of-service (QoS) provisioning are the important tasks on the future development of wireless networks. The high host mobility makes these tasks more challenging. In this paper, we propose an architecture which supports both mobility and QoS management in Internet protocol (IP)-based wireless networks. In mobility management, the fast handoff, which the packets are forwarded in advance to the neighboring locations where a mobile node (MN) may move to, is provided to reduce the service disruption. Also, the fast location lookup, which the routing information about a MN is replicated to some routers, is provided to avoid the triangular routing problem incurred by the protocol of mobile IP. In QoS provisioning, we enable the end-to-end QoS guarantee by using the resource reservation protocol (RSVP) signaling. In particular, the RSVP aggregation technique is used to avoid the scalability problem. Also, the technique of passive resource reservation is used to reduce the influence of host mobility on the resource reservation delay. We emphasize the integration of mobility and QoS management in the architecture design. A performance analysis is given to justify the benefits of our proposed architecture. 相似文献

Mobile ATM offers a common wired network infrastructure to support mobility of wireless terminals, independent of the wireless access protocol. In addition, it allows seamless migration to future wireless broadband services, such as wireless ATM, by enabling mobility of end-to-end ATM connections. In spite of the diversity in mobile networking technologies (e.g., cellular telephony, mobile-IP, packet data services, PCS), all of them require two fundamental mechanisms: location management and handoff. This article describes different schemes for augmenting a wired ATM network to support location management of mobile terminals and handoff protocols for rerouting a connection data path when the endpoint moves. A prototype implementation of mobile ATM integrating mobility support with ATM signaling and connection setup, is presented. In wireless networks carrying multimedia traffic (voice, video, data, and image), it becomes necessary to provide a quality-of-service(QoS) guarantee for multimedia traffic connections supported by the network. In order to provide mobile hosts with high QoS in the next-generation wireless networks, efficient and better bandwidth reservation schemes must be designed. This paper presents a novel dynamic-grouping bandwidth reservation scheme as a solution to support QoS guarantees in the next-generation wireless networks. The proposed scheme is based on the probabilistic resource estimation to provide QoS guarantees for multimedia traffic in wireless cellular networks. We establish several reservation time sections, called groups, according to the mobility information of mobile hosts of each base station. The amount of reserved bandwidth for each base station is dynamically adjusted for each reservation group. We use the dynamic-grouping bandwidth reservation scheme to reduce the connection blocking rate and connection dropping rate, while increasing the bandwidth utilization. The simulation results show that the dynamic-grouping bandwidth reservation scheme provides less connection-blocking rate and less connection-dropping rate and achieves high bandwidth utilization. 相似文献

This paper describes a reservation protocol to provide real-time services to mobile users in an Integrated Services Packet Network. Mobility of hosts has significant impact on the quality of service provided to a real-time application. The currently proposed network system architecture and mechanisms to provide real-time services to fixed hosts are inadequate to accommodate the mobile hosts which can frequently change their point of attachments to the fixed network. Mobile hosts may experience wide variations of quality of service due to mobility. To reduce the impacts of mobility on QoS guarantees, a mobile host needs to make advance resource reservations at multiple locations it may possibly visit during the lifetime of the connection. The currently proposed reservation protocol in the Internet, RSVP, is not adequate to make such reservations for mobile hosts. In this paper, we describe a new reservation protocol, MRSVP, for supporting integrated services in a network with mobile hosts. 相似文献

We propose an integrated resource management approach that can be implemented in next generation wireless networks that support multimedia services (data, voice, video, etc.). Specifically, we combine the use of position-assisted and mobility predictive advanced bandwidth reservation with a call admission control and bandwidth reconfiguration strategy to support flexible QoS management. We also introduce a mobile agent based framework that can be used to carry out the functions of geolocation and of the proposed resource management in wireless networks. A model is also developed to obtain the optimal location information update interval in order to minimize the total cost of the system operation. The comparison of the achievable performance results of our proposed scheme with the corresponding results of a conventional system that supports advanced bandwidth reservation only, as means of supporting the QoS requirements, demonstrate that our integrated scheme can alleviate the problem of overreservation, support seamless operation throughout the wireless network, and increase significantly the system capacity. 相似文献
