A novel type of dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter using degenerate modes of a dual-mode microstrip square loop resonator with capacitively loaded open-loop arms is proposed. Such a dual-mode bandpass filter with a 0.75% bandwidth at the center frequency of 1.603 GHz is designed and fabricated to demonstrate the design of reduced-size microstrip filters. It is shown that the proposed filter has a size reduction of about 59% at the same center frequency, as compared with the dual-mode bandpass filters such as microstrip patch, cross-slotted patch, square loop and ring resonator filter.  相似文献

A novel dual-mode microstrip square loop resonator is proposed using the slow-wave and dispersion features of the microstrip slow-wave open-loop resonator. It is shown that the designed and fabricated dual-mode microstrip filter has a wide stopband including the first spurious resonance frequency. Also, it has a size reduction of about 50% at the same center frequency, as compared with the dual-mode bandpass filters such as microstrip patch, cross-slotted patch, square loop, and ring resonator filter.  相似文献

提出了一种新颖的基于缺陷地结构(DGS)的双模双通带滤波器.该滤波器由印制板顶面的一个方形谐振单元和另一个巧妙嵌入在印制板底面DGS中的方形谐振单元并联构成,具有结构紧凑、易于加工的特点.每个谐振单元都具有双模单通带传输特性,可通过公共馈线同时激励实现双模双通带滤波.两个谐振单元的谐振频率相对可调,提高了设计上的灵活性.为减少辐射损耗并改善高频通带插损,使用准共面波导缺陷地结构对底面谐振单元进行了改进.最后,实验制作了两种双模双通带滤波器,测试结果与仿真结果吻合较好.  相似文献

A dual-mode resonator with square patches attached to inner corners of a conventional microstrip loop resonator is proposed. The two types of coupling between the degenerate modes are described by changing the perturbation's size for realization of either a Chebyshev or an elliptic function filter. A novel type of dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter using degenerate modes of this type of dual-mode resonators is developed. It is shown that the perturbation's size determines the filter characteristic, whether it is Chebyshev characteristic or elliptic characteristic.  相似文献

To realize the feature of small size and high selectivity, a microstrip miniature fractal quasi-elliptic bandpass filter (BPF) with two transmission zeros (TZs) near each skirt is investigated in this paper. The TZs are created by source-load coupling between the input and output E-shaped feeding structures. By using a dual-mode Minkowski fractal shorted stub loaded open-loop resonator, the proposed BPF achieved a size reduction of 97.5% compared with the conventional square dual-mode loop BPF. Even mode analysis is adopted to characterize the Minkowski structure. The frequency responses of the current BPF were simulated and measured with good agreement.  相似文献

提出了一种多模方式工作的微带方形贴片带通滤波器。通常设计微带方形贴片滤波器主要是利用TM1,0,0和TM0,1,0这一对简并主模实现单模或双模的工作方式。但是这些滤波器尚存一些有待完善的地方,诸如带内插损偏大,带宽受限等等。本文设计的带通滤波器不使用主模,而是利用三个高次模分量,通过一种简单的微扰方式和馈电方式激励起除简并主模以外的三个高次模分量,并使之相互耦合实现通带。仿真和测量结果充分说明,这种滤波器能够实现宽频段的通带响应,并且在通带内具有很低的插损和良好的阻抗匹配特性,能够广泛地适用于微波平面电路。  相似文献

基于传统的T形贴片双模微带带通滤波器,提出了一种新型的加入缝隙耦合的T形双模微带带通滤波器。在T形贴片谐振器的两侧以缝隙耦合的方式插入馈线,并对其进行了优化。优化后的滤波器能在通带两侧都产生衰减极点,提高了阻带的抑制能力,对其进行了仿真。仿真结果表明,该滤波器通带的中心频率为5.0 GHz,与实测结果基本一致,滤波器尺寸为34 mm×24 mm,保证了滤波器的小型化。  相似文献

提出了一种新型的方形贴片双模微带带通滤波器。该滤波器结构有一个切角,并且在贴片中心处开了一个两臂等长的十字槽,采用正交直接馈电方式,并在每条馈线上引入了一节与谐振腔有一定耦合的开路短截线。该结构在上下阻带都产生衰减极点,馈线上引入的微带线有效地抑制了寄生通带,提高了阻带抑制特性。仿真结果表明,该滤波器在中心频率2.9 GHz处,回波损耗优于–30.9 dB,通带内最小插入损耗为–0.1 dB,与实测结果基本一致。  相似文献

首先提出了一种新颖、简单的带有两个切角的双模微带带通滤波器结构。该结构使用单个贴片谐振器并且没有耦合缝隙,通带两端各有一个衰减极点,可以有效减小滤波器的辐射损耗。对该滤波器结构进一步改进,又提出了一种中心频率1.8GHz相互正交槽线的新型双模微带带通滤波器结构。该滤波器在中心频率1.8GHz处,回波损耗达到31.65dB,通带内最小插损为0.01dB,3dB带宽为19.44%。研究结果表明该结构可以进一步减小辐射损耗,并且可以减小滤波器的体积,有利于小型化。  相似文献

In this paper, a new capacitively stepped-impedance resonator(CSIR) is proposed to develop the microstrip square-loop dual-mode bandpass filter. Using this new design, simultaneous size reduction and spurious response suppression for the dual-mode bandpass filter can be achieved. An analytical formulation of this novel resonator is given in order to elucidate the spurious frequencies relocation design. Together with this formulation, a generalized dual-mode bandpass filter model is developed so as to ease the analysis of transmission zero and insertion loss. A prototype filter is designed at 900MHz with 1.5% fractional bandwidth. Significant spurious suppressions up to 33 and 35 dB are measured at 1.8 and at 2.7 GHz, respectively. A circuitry size reduction of 54% is achieved when compared with that of the conventional structure. Moreover, the CSIR allows frequency tuning and, thus, a varactor-tuned filter is designed and a measured tunable center frequency between 1.5-1.62GHz is demonstrated. Utilizing the proposed structure, not only size reduction,as well as spurious response suppression, but also center frequency tuning can be achieved.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel millimeter-wave ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) based on microstrip dual-mode rectangular ring resonators. In order to get strong coupling between the input/output line and the dual-mode ring resonators, a step-impedance parallel-coupled structure is adopted for the design of the filter. On the other hand, transmission zeros are produced by the dual-mode resonator. As a consequence, the filter has low insertion-loss in its passband, sharp attenuation in its lower and upper stopbands and very wide stopbands. As an example, a filter with two dual-mode ring resonators is designed and fabricated. The measured frequency property of the fabricated filter shows good agreement with the simulated response.  相似文献

A novel miniaturised dual-mode bandpass filter with multi-arc resonators is proposed. The size of the dual-mode filter can be reduced significantly by using the microstrip dual-mode resonator consisting of multi-arcs; meanwhile insertion loss and spurious response suppression are improved A prototype filter is designed and implemented at 3.6 GHz with 2.8% fractional bandwidth, which shows a low passband insertion loss of 1.02 dB and a wide stopband with rejection better than 20 dB up to about 8.5 GHz.  相似文献

In this paper, we report on the results of an investigation into dual-mode operation of microstrip triangular patch resonators and their applications for designing dual-mode bandpass filters. It has been found theoretically that the dual modes can result from the rotation and superposition of a fundamental mode. The characteristics of the dual modes and their mode splitting are described. The applications of this new type of dual-mode microstrip patch resonator in the design of microwave planar filter are presented. A circuit model for operation of this type of filter is proposed. Two- and four-pole filters of this type are demonstrated for the first time. Both theoretical and experimental results are presented.  相似文献

A novel dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed that uses a bi-interdigital coupling structure for a single substrate configuration. The BPF consists of a microstrip feed network, ground embedded slots, and outer and inner loop resonators which are excited over bi-interdigital coupled lines with tight coupling in the two passbands. 本文提出了基于微带贴片谐振器的高选择性双模双通带带通滤波器及一种模式分析算法.首次利用该算法分析了微带贴片的模式组成,计算了导模场的闭式解.微带贴片的耦合馈线同时作为谐振单元构成第二个通带,减小了结构尺寸.全波仿真分析(full wave analysis)结果及测试数据表明,与现有的双模双通带带通滤波器相比,本文设计的滤波器传输零点个数增加了2倍,达到11个,带外抑制度达到20dB,带内插损较小,仅为1.2dB,抑制了寄生通带.同时设计的拓扑结构复杂度较低,利于滤波器的小型化.  相似文献

This letter presents a miniaturized dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter with the right crossed slots. The right crossed slots perturb and reduce the fundamental resonant frequency, but the second resonance is not affected. Therefore, the second resonance will be effectively higher than 2f/sub o/, where f/sub o/ is the fundamental frequency. Since the fundamental frequency is lower, the bandpass filter is smaller than the conventional filter. The proposed filter shows a 4.4% fractional bandwidth at 1.595GHz with a return loss of better than 10dB and an insertion loss of less than 2.5dB, while the second passband is located around 2.88f/sub o/= 4.6GHz. Compared with the conventional square patch filter, the proposed filter also shows a 58% size reduction.  相似文献
