The power system simulation system described provides a relay under evaluation with current and voltage input similar to that encountered under service and fault conditions. Using digital transient simulation programs to model power system behaviour, the facility provides an effective bandwidth of from DC to 4 kHz for both the current and voltage relay input. The relay's output is automatically monitored during the test, enabling a detailed report of its response to be produced. 新型电力系统对电力系统物理模拟实验提出了很高的要求,原有的物理模拟技术已难以满足。通过借鉴控制领域常用的快速控制原型(RCP)技术思想,提出了快速系统原型(RSP)技术,包括数字仿真器、快速原型控制器和快速原型被控对象(ROP)3个部分,解决了传统物理模拟技术费时费力和难以满足新型电力系统快速演进需求的缺陷。RSP技术用于科学研究、产品开发和入网验证时,研究成果和产品可直接用于工程实际。首先介绍了RSP的思想及具体实现方案,并阐述了其“所见即所得”的动模实验理念,最后以柔直输电动模实验为例,验证了基于RSP理念和技术可建成一个企业级别的仿真环境及工程技术实践平台,并能真实灵活仿真新型电力系统的各种特性。  相似文献

The objective of this work is to discuss the concept of back‐to‐back interconnection systems with energy storage, especially with a Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) incorporated into a back‐to‐back DC link. In this case, each converter of the back‐to‐back system is used as a power conditioning system for the SMES coils. Since the AC–DC converter can be designed independently of the frequency of the power system, a two‐way switch is connected to the AC side of each converter. This two‐way switch can select the interconnected power systems. By using the two‐way switches, this system can provide the stored energy in the SMES system to each interconnected power system through two AC–DC converters. For instance, lower‐cost power of each power network can be stored through two converters during the off‐peak hours and made available for dispatch to each power network during periods of demand peak. Then this system increases the reliability of electric power networks and enables the economical operations depending on the power demand. This paper describes the unique operations of the back‐to‐back interconnection with SMES and discuses the optimal SMES configuration for a 300‐MW‐class back‐to‐back interconnection. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 应高校继电保护实验的要求,设计用于继电保护实验的电网故障仿真实验装置。根据高校继电保护教育中的典型回路、典型故障,实现简单电网相应短路故障过程的简单模拟。介绍了其硬件结构和软件仿真。装置以TI公司的MSP430系列单片机为控制核心,经D/A转换、低通滤波后,由功率放大模块对信号进行放大输出。上位机采用VC 6.0完成上位机仿真软件模块的编写,主要实现电气接线图形化操作与短路计算模块功能。该装置能灵活地仿真故障时保护安装处电流、电压的实际动态过程,为继电保护实验的深入推广打下了基础。  相似文献

This paper presents REAL (Remotely Accessible Laboratory), a virtual laboratory accessible through the Internet. The objective of REAL is to provide remote access to a mobile robots infrastructure. REAL has been implemented as a new generation telecommunication service, not as a commonplace World Wide Web (WWW) application. As such, it employs a sophisticated access framework, a communication infrastructure able to support multimedia flows, and a component-based software construction. The architecture of REAL relies on open standards, such as WWW and its related technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML, Java, etc.) and a common object request broker architecture (CORBA).  相似文献

Laboratory experiments for image processing courses are usually software implementations of processing algorithms, but students of image processing come from diverse backgrounds with widely differing software experience. To avoid learning overhead, the software system should be easy to learn and use, even for those with no exposure to mathematical programming languages or object-oriented programming. The class library for image processing (CLIP) supports users with knowledge of C, by providing three C++ types with small public interfaces, including natural and efficient operator overloading. CLIP programs are compact and fast. Experience in using the system in undergraduate and graduate teaching indicates that it supports subject matter learning with little distraction from language/system learning.  相似文献

This paper describes a new two-quarter undergraduate capstone design class in our computer engineering curriculum. Design groups comprised of students from several different areas of specialization (e.g., software systems, very large scale integration (VLSI) devices and circuits, and computer architecture) design, simulate, implement, and evaluate a complete computing system. Typical examples of projects in the current sequence include a pipelined 32-bit RISC processor, a four-cell systolic array processor, and a video game. The goal is to produce simulation and hardware/software codesign as early as possible in the design process. Students execute software on simulation models prior to any hardware implementation. An assembler and a compiler are developed for the new design. Throughout the sequence, students participate in design reviews and must provide documentation of their designs. The final designs are implemented using an array of field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) contained in a device called a hardware emulator. This allows for ease of design modifications while still having actual hardware for experimentation  相似文献

This paper introduces a unified power engineering laboratory capable of various experiments for power systems, power electronics, and electromechanical energy conversion. It presents a flexible hardware setup, data acquisition (DAQ), and virtual instrumentation (VI). Some features of virtual instrumentation are shown with real-time phasor diagrams, sequence component analysis, and spectral analysis of AC data. We describe the general design of a single laboratory setup, which can be used for power electronics and electromechanical energy conversion experiments independently. This paper describes a newly installed harmonics education facility in detail to teach students about harmonics related problems in a power system. A nonlinear load, which produces harmonic currents, and a harmonic filter, which is a mitigation facility, are merged into an existing power system simulator for advanced power engineering education. The nonlinear load is a widely used three-phase, 6-pulse controlled rectifier. The filter bank is designed to eliminate the characteristic harmonic currents. This paper also shows the resonant condition caused by shunt capacitors which are usually used for power factor correction. Several suggested experiments are given to teach students about harmonics related problems including harmonic sources, measurement, resonance, limitation, and mitigation. 从电压波动、频率波动、波形失真等方面分析了影响电网调度自动化系统中计算机供电质量好坏的因素,阐述了瞬变浪涌下跌、瞬变脉冲(又称电压闪变)、瞬时停电及三相不平衡给计算机电源带来的影响,导致计算机运算错误或破坏存储的数据和程序.提出了改善电源质量的相应措施:采用隔离变压器可隔离电网上的瞬变干扰,达到电磁屏蔽的作用;加装滤波器可衰减来自电网的电磁干扰和射频干扰;系统配置稳压器和电力专用在线式不间断电源(UPS)等可减少电源系统中的浪涌、噪声、电压下跌等现象.  相似文献

Integrated Design Systems (IDS) are the wave of the future in the engineering and construction industry. These systems use powerful relational database programs to allow the data from a single entry point to be the source information for several forms of data output. The high costs of relational database software, network hardware and development of the expert system programming which links the system together, limits those who can take advantage of IDS. A digital simulator based on a hypercube-type massively parallel computer, the NCube2, has been developed. The simulator features: real-time simulation of a large power system which covers transient stability through long-term behavior with constant accuracy level in root mean square values; user-friendly man-machine interfaces which mimic the actual operating environment including interactive setting of several system parameters and real-time data presentation on a CRT; and high-speed A/D (analog to digital) converters, D/A (digital to analog) converters, and D/IO (digital input and digital output) interfaces are used to connect the digital simulator (power system dynamic model) to actual equipment. A package of integrated programs for small-signal stability analysis of large interconnected power systems is described. The package has extensive modeling capability and uses alternative eigenvalue calculation techniques, making it suitable for the analysis of a wide range of stability and control problems.
