Study on the characteristics of rare earth complex as rubber vulcanization accelerator Abstract： The N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfenamide neodymium complex was synthesized with accelerator CZ as ligand, and its application in NR/SBR blend was investigated. It was confirmed by element analysis and infra-red spectroscopy analysis that, the composition of the rare earth complex was Nd（CZ）Cl3.Nd（OH）Cl2.H2O.The rare earth complex had a delay characteristic of sulfonamide accelerators and was suitable for vulcanization of thick-walled rubber goods; after heat aging, the Shore A hardness, the modulus at 300% elongation and tear strength of vulcanizate were increased, the tensile strength, elongation at break and tensile set at break of vulcanizate were decreased; the rolling resistance and the heat buildup of tread compound with the rare earth complex could be decreased. 相似文献
