本文系统地叙述了数码电视光盘DVD如何刻录电影片的详细制作工艺过程,也介绍了DVD各种规格的特点,包括单面单层,单面双层、双层单面、双层双面,其中单面单层DVD-5是常用规格,生产工艺成熟,其记录容量为4.7GB,可以储存一部电影的信息。DVD是基于MEG-2编码的,容许逐行序列,也容许隔行序列,但一般DVD机和DVD光盘都是按隔行扫描设计和制作的,因此用逐行扫描也难以向电视输送良好的逐行扫描信号。文中还特别指出了电影DVD光盘给电影业所带来的巨大市场和效益。  相似文献

The reliability and longevity of any storage medium is a key issue for archivists and preservationists as well as for the creators of important information. This is particularly true in the case of digital media such as DVD and CD where a sufficient number of errors may render the disc unreadable. This paper describes an initial stability study of commercially available recordable DVD and CD media using accelerated aging tests under conditions of increased temperature and humidity. The effect of prolonged exposure to direct light is also investigated and shown to have an effect on the error rates of the media. Initial results show that high quality optical media have very stable characteristics and may be suitable for long-term storage applications. However, results also indicate that significant differences exist in the stability of recordable optical media from different manufacturers.  相似文献

Key factors for efficient production are reliability and short tact times. Especially the vacuum coating technology gives its contribution to the product optimised process. Optoelectronic consumer products that are widely employed in the office and home attract attention for optical sensor applications due to (1) their cost advantage over analytical instruments produced only in small quantities, (2) robustness in operation due to the detailed manufacturability improvements, and (3) ease of operation. We demonstrate here a new approach for quantitative chemical/biochemical sensing when analog signals are acquired from conventional optical disk drives, and these signals are used for quantitative detection of optical changes of sensor films deposited on conventional CD and DVD optical disks. Because we do not alter manufacturing process of optical disks, any disk can be employed for deposition and readout of sensor films. The optical disk drives also perform their original function of reading and writing digital content to optical media because no optical modifications are introduced to obtain the analog signal. Such a sensor platform is quite universal and can be applied for chemical and biological quantitative detection, as well as for monitoring of changes of physical properties of regions deposited onto a CD or DVD (e.g., during combinatorial screening of materials). As a model example, we demonstrate the concept using chemical detection of ionic species such as Ca2+ in liquids (e.g., blood, urine, or water). Colorimetric calcium-sensitive sensor films were deposited onto a DVD, exposed to water with different concentrations of Ca2+, and quantified in the optical disk drive. The developed lab-on-DVD system demonstrated a 5 ppm detection limit of Ca2+ determinations, similar or slightly better than that achieved using a conventional fiber-optic portable spectrometer. This detection limit corresponded to a 0.023 absorbance unit resolution, as determined by the measurement of the same colorimetric films with a portable spectrometer. Determinations of Ca2+ unknowns using the lab-on-DVD system demonstrated +/-5 ppm accuracy and 2-5% relative standard deviation precision in predicting 100 ppm Ca2+.  相似文献

A novel reading and writing technology for a holographic storage system called collinear holography is developed. With this method, two-dimensional page data can be recorded as volumetric holograms generated by a reference beam and a signal beam that are bundled on the same axis and irradiated on the recording medium through a single objective lens. The multiplex recording and reconstructing process is demonstrated, and it is presented that optical configuration and the dichroic media disk structure are suitable for a compact system. This method enables us to construct a small volumetric optical disk storage system with CD and DVD upper compatibility.  相似文献

针对网站DVD在线租凭问题,我们建立了以线性规划为基础的单目标、多目标及混合整数规划等多个数学模型,很好的解决了DVD的分配问题。对问题一,我们建立了单目标整数模型,利用lindo数学软件包求解,求出了两种不同情况下DVD的最小购买量:对问题二,首先我们对所给的表格数据进行了规范化处理,采用倒数公式得到了每个人对每种DVD的满意度系数矩阵,然后建立了单目标混合整数规划的数学划模型,为使DVD的购买量最小且会员满意度最大,引进了权重系数ψ,通过加权组合构造了一个新的单目标的混合整数规划模型,最后使用lingo数学软件包求得了每种DVD的最小购买量以及此时DVD的分配方案。  相似文献

A novel design of HD–DVD optical pick-up head is proposed. The geometrical size of the pick-up head is reduced by using a combined system of a Penta prism and an aspherical lens.
