Catalytic properties of supported gallium oxides have been examined for the selective reduction of NO by CH4 in excess oxygen. The activity was greatly affected by the support; Ga2O3/Al2O3 (Al2O3 supported Ga2O3) and Ga2O3–Al2O3 mixed oxide exhibited high activity and selectivity as comparable to Ga-ZSM-5, while unsupported Ga2O3 and the other supported Ga2O3 were ineffective. For Ga2O3/Al2O3, the activity changed with Ga2O3 content, and was highest at about 30 wt% Ga2O3, which corresponds to a theoretical monolayer coverage. Gallium oxide highly dispersed on Al2O3 is considered to be responsible for the high activity and selectivity. The reaction characteristics of Ga2O3/Al2O3 were studied and compared with Ga-ZSM-5 and Co-ZSM-5. Ga2O3/Al2O3 exhibited the highest activity and selectivity at high temperature. In addition, Ga2O3/Al2O3 showed higher tolerance against water than Ga-ZSM-5. C3H8 and C3H6 were also evaluated as reducing agents, and Ga2O3/Al2O3 showed higher activity than Ga-ZSM-5 above 723 K achieving almost complete reduction of NO to N2. 相似文献

Adding sodium to lanthanum oxide increases appreciably the activity, the C+2 selectivity and the stability of the catalyst. The variations of these catalytic properties when the main kinetic parameters (contact time, temperature etc) vary could find their explanation in the formation of new reactive centers. The selectivity of these centers would be the result mainly of the inhibition of the primary reaction of the oxidation of methane into CO2. 相似文献

Three different vanadium-modified Pd/Al2O3 catalysts were prepared and tested as catalysts for the deep oxidation of methane. Vanadium was added to the palladium catalyst by incipient wetness of palladium catalyst in order to modify its properties and improve its thermal stability and thioresistance. The behaviour of vanadium-modified catalysts depends on the concentration of this compound, being 0.5 wt.% the optimum amount. However, when strong catalyst poisons are present in the gas (SO2), these modified catalysts do not show a better performance than unmodified catalyst. Bimetallic catalysts were tested with and without further reduction, being observed that reduced bimetallic catalysts perform worse than the non-reduced ones. 相似文献

More than 0.22 mmol of isolated VO4 species of V2O5/Al2O3 exhibited the highest evolution of the partial oxidation products (alcohol and ketone) in the oxidation of cyclohexane and cyclopentane. The conversion of cyclohexane and the selectivity of the partial oxidation products were achieved to be 0.49% and 85% over 0.8 g of 3.5 wt.% V2O5/Al2O3, respectively, where the K/A ratio was 6.2. In addition, V2O5/Al2O3 can selectively oxidize various hydrocarbons in the liquid phase by the one-step oxygen atom insertion to CH bond. The order of priority was tertiary carbon > secondary carbon > primary carbon > benzene ring. 相似文献

Vanadia-titania catalysts prepared by different sol–gel procedures were studied as heterogeneous catalysts for the liquid phase oxidation of limonene. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, XPS, ICP and nitrogen adsorption. According to the XRD results the catalyst samples can be divided in two different groups: anatase samples and anatase + rutile samples. XRD signals of vanadia are not found in the diffractograms.
The main reaction products are polymers. Limonene oxide, limonene glycol, carveol and carvone are obtained in small amounts. A number of autoxidation products, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones, are also obtained.
The effects of titania composition on the reaction orientation are discussed. 相似文献

The reduction of NOx by hydrogen under lean burn conditions over Pt/Al2O3 is strongly poisoned by carbon monoxide. This is due to the strong adsorption and subsequent high coverage of CO, which significantly increases the temperature required to initiate the reaction. Even relatively small concentrations of CO dramatically reduce the maximum NOx conversions achievable. In contrast, the presence of CO has a pronounced promoting influence in the case of Pd/Al2O3. In this case, although pure H2 and pure CO are ineffective for NOx reduction under lean burn conditions, H2/CO mixtures are very effective. With a realistic (1:3) H2:CO ratio, typical of actual exhaust gas, Pd/Al2O3 is significantly more active than Pt/Al2O3, delivering 45% NOx conversion at 160 °C, compared to >15% for Pt/Al2O3 under identical conditions. The nature of the support is also critically important, with Pd/Al2O3 being much more active than Pd/SiO2. Possible mechanisms for the improved performance of Pd/Al2O3 in the presence of H2+CO are discussed. 相似文献

The effect of the support nature on the performance of Pd catalysts during partial oxidation of ethanol was studied. H2, CO2 and acetaldehyde formation was favored on Pd/CeO2, whereas CO production was facilitated over Pd/Y2O3 catalyst. According to the reaction mechanism, determined by DRIFTS analyses, some reaction pathways are favored depending on the support nature, which can explain the differences observed on products distribution. On Pd/Y2O3 catalyst, the production of acetate species was promoted, which explain the higher CO formation, since acetate species can be decomposed to CH4 and CO at high temperatures. On Pd/CeO2 catalyst, the acetaldehyde preferentially desorbs and/or decomposes to H2, CH4 and CO. The CO formed is further oxidized to CO2, which seems to be promoted on Pd/CeO2 catalyst. 相似文献

A two-step route was developed to prepare zeolite beta coatings on structured monolith. Al2O3 layer was deposited on cordierite substrate by slurry dip-coating in the first step and beta zeolite layer was then coated on Al2O3/cordierite by direct dynamic hydrothermal synthesis in the second step. The as-prepared beta zeolite-Al2O3/cordierite was characterized by means of XRD and SEM techniques and the stability of beta coatings was studied. Based on these results, the advantages of the two-step method were discussed. After the introduction of Pt to beta zeolite-Al2O3/cordierite, the obtained Pt/beta zeolite-Al2O3/cordierite monolith was tested as promising catalyst for the purification of automobile exhaust from real lean-burn engine. 相似文献

采用浸渍法制备了不同CoCr_2O_4负载量x CoCr_2O_4/SiO_2催化剂(x=5%、10%、20%和30%),考察其对二氯甲烷催化燃烧性能的影响。结果表明,催化剂的整体活性顺序为:30CoCr_2O_4/SiO_220CoCr_2O_4/SiO_210CoCr_2O_4/SiO_25CoCr_2O_4/SiO_2,但按照活性组分CoCr_2O_4质量归一化后本征活性顺序为:10CoCr_2O_4/SiO_2≈5CoCr_2O_4/SiO_220CoCr_2O_4/SiO_230CoCr_2O_4/SiO_2。表征结果发现催化剂本征活性与可还原性能和表面酸性存在密切关系。10CoCr_2O_4/SiO_2和5CoCr_2O_4/SiO_2具有较高的表面酸性和耗氢量,因此具有较高的本征活性。 相似文献

The deep oxidation of dimethylamine (DMA) was studied over Pt/Al2O3 catalysts with small (1 nm) and large (7.8–15.5 nm) Pt crystallite sizes. The turnover frequency (TOF) was higher for the large than for the small Pt crystallites, indicating that the reaction is structure sensitive. Two kinetic models were used to interpret the obtained results, i.e., the Mars van Krevelen and a mechanism based on the adsorption of oxygen and adsorption of dimethylamine on different active sites were employed. Both models showed that the activation energy for the oxygen chemisorption rate constant (ko) decreased with increasing of Pt crystallite size and that the activation energy for the surface reaction rate constant (ki) was independent of the Pt crystallite size. The structure sensitivity may be explained by differences in the reactivity of the oxygen adsorbed on these Pt crystallites.The Mars van Krevelen model fits the TOF values very well at concentrations of DMA higher than 1500 ppm, while in the lower concentrations region, the model under predicts the experimental data. The model based on the adsorption of oxygen and DMA on different active sites fits the experimental data quite well over the whole temperature and concentration range. The fitted values of the Henry adsorption constant are independent of the Pt crystallite size. 相似文献

由丙烷直接催化脱氢制取丙烯已经成为增产丙烯的重要手段之一。以水热法制备Al_2O_3载体,采用等体积浸渍法制备不同PtSn负载量的PtSn/Al_2O_3催化剂。通过XRD、N2-吸附、拉曼光谱和H2-TPR等对其进行表征,并考察不同PtSn负载量对催化剂催化丙烷脱氢性能的影响。结果表明,在制备的催化剂中,Pt1.5Sn3/Al_2O_3具有最高的催化丙烷脱氢活性和稳定性,丙烷初始转化率高达55.6%,丙烯选择性98.1%。反应330 min后,丙烷转化率仅降约10%,选择性保持不变。 相似文献

Kinetic study of CO oxidation in combination with experiments of temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) and reduction (TPR) have been performed on various unsupported crystalline manganese oxides (MnOx); while the reactivity shows an order of MnO ≤ MnO2 < Mn2O3 in a mixture of unit ratio of O2/CO at/below 523 K. We propose that under the current conditions the interaction of adsorbed CO and O is mainly responsible for CO2 formation on Mn2O3 and MnO2 catalysts, following either the Langmuir–Hinshelwood mechanism or Eley–Rideal mechanism. Meanwhile, direct evidence from transient CO oxidation suggests that the Mars-van-Krevelen mechanism may occur for all catalysts simultaneously, especially, it is predominant for the MnO catalyst. The evidence of structural modifications during reaction was confirmed by Raman spectra obtained from used MnO. 相似文献

The pulse corona plasma has been used as an activation method for reaction of methane and carbon dioxide, the product was C2 hydrocarbons and by-products were CO and H2. Methane conversion and the yield of C2 hydrocarbons were affected by the carbon dioxide concentration in the feed. The conversion of methane increased with increasing carbon dioxide concentration in the feed whereas the yield of C2 hydrocarbons decreased. The synergism of La2O3/γ-Al2O3 and plasma gave methane conversion of 24.9% and C2 hydrocarbons yield of 18.1% were obtained at the power input of plasma was 30 W. The distribution of C2 hydrocarbons changed by using Pd-La2O3/γ-Al2O3 catalyst, the major C2 product was ethylene. 相似文献

Pyrolysis gasoline upgrading by hydrogenation and ring opening was investigated over highly loaded Ni catalysts supported on amorphous silica-alumina and incorporating promoters as Pd, seeking a higher aromatic reduction of this feedstock in order to meet stringent fuel regulations. The effect of Ni loading and Pd component on the activity of those systems was evaluated in a fixed bed reactor under the following operating conditions: T = 573 and 673 K, H2:PyGas molar ratio = 10, P = 5.0 MPa, WHSV = 4 h−1. The catalyst properties, measured by several characterization techniques (ICP-AES, XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, TPR, H2-TPD, CO chemisorption, XPS, FTIR spectroscopy of adsorbed pyridine and NH3-TPD), were related to their catalytic activity and selectivity. Interestingly, the increase in Ni loading from 24.4 to 33.2 Ni wt.% has a negative effect on both hydrogenation and ring opening activities, as it causes a drop in the BET surface area and a decrease in metal-support interaction, with a negative bearing on catalyst stability. On the other hand, the addition of Pd has a positive effect for hydrogenation, linked with the higher electronegativity of Pd0 species compared to those of Ni0, as well as with a greater stability of Pd-promoted catalysts during on-stream conditions. A linear correlation has been found between the total amount of desorbed H2, as determined from H2-TPD experiments on freshly reduced catalysts, and the initial turnover frequency. 相似文献

The reduction of nitrogen oxides by propene in the presence of air under net oxidising conditions has been studied for two Cu/alumina catalysts of low (1%) and high (5%) copper loadings in a flow microreactor and by DRIFT. The reaction was studied in the range 473–773 K using mixtures of 2.5% NO, 1% C3H6 and 10% O2 with a balance of nitrogen or helium, using samples which were pretreated in air at 673 K and also over samples which had been pre-exposed to SO2 at 473 K. The surface species present under reaction conditions have been identified and the sensitivity of their adsorption sites in the two different loaded catalysts to SO2 pre-treatment has been investigated. SO2 adsorption enhanced NO adsorption at 473 K in the absence of oxygen and, in reaction, enhanced formation of NCO species leading to increased levels of adsorbed CO as a decomposition product. 相似文献

Micro-channel plates with dimension of 1 mm × 0.3 mm × 48 mm were prepared by chemical etching of stainless steel plates followed by wash coating of CeO2 and Al2O3 on the channels. After coating the support on the plate, Pt, Co, and Cu were added to the plate by incipient wetness method. Reaction experiments of a single reactor showed that the micro-channel reactor coated with CuO/CeO2 catalyst was highly selective for CO oxidation while the one coated with Pt-Co/Al2O3 catalyst was highly active for CO oxidation. The 7-layered reactors coated with two different catalysts were prepared by laser welding and the performances of each reactor were tested in large scale of PROX conditions. The multi-layered reactor coated with Pt-Co/Al2O3 catalyst was highly active for PROX and the outlet concentration of CO gradually increased with the O2/CO ratio due to the oxidation of H2 which maintained the reactor temperature. The multi-layered reactor coated with CuO/CeO2 showed lower catalytic activity than that coated with Pt catalyst, but its selectivity was not changed with the increase of O2/CO ratios due to the high selectivity. In order to combine advantages (high activity and high selectivity) of the two individual catalysts (Pt-Co/Al2O3, CuO/CeO2), a serial reactor was prepared by connecting the two multi-layered micro-channel reactors with different catalysts. An Al2O3-ZrO2 support was prepared by grafting a zirconium precursor onto the surface of commercial γ-Al2O3. A physical mixture of Al2O3-ZrO2 was also prepared for the purpose of comparison. Ni/Al2O3-ZrO2 catalysts were then prepared by an impregnation method, and were applied to the hydrogen production by steam reforming of
liquefied natural gas (LNG). The effect ZrO2 and preparation method of Al2O3-ZrO2 on the performance of supported nickel catalysts in the steam reforming of LNG was investigated. The Al2O3-ZrO2 prepared by a grafting method was more efficient as a support for nickel catalyst than the physical mixture of Al2O3-ZrO2 in the hydrogen production by steam reforming of LNG. The well-developed tetragonal phase of ZrO2 and the high dispersion of ZrO2 on the surface of γ-Al2O3 were responsible for the enhanced catalytic performance of Ni/Al2O3-ZrO2 prepared by way of a grafting method. 相似文献
