New Administrator of SAC, Chen Gang

On June 14th,SAC held a meeting presented by its middle-high officials,at which Zhang Qinrong,Member of CPC Leading Group and Director of Personnel Department,General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ),announced the personnel decision made by the State Council,the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and AQSIQ.In the decision,Chen Gang was appointed as Member of CPC Leading Group of AQSIQ,Administrator of SAC and Secretary of CPC Leading Group of SAC,and Ji Zhengkun was dismissed as the Member of CPC Leading Group of AQSIQ,Administrator of SAC and Secretary of CPC Leading Group of SAC.The meeting was presided by Ji Zhengkun.Zhi Shuping,Minister of AQSIQ and Secretary of CPC Leading Group of AQSIQ,attended the meeting and gave a speech.Ji Zhengkun and Chen Gang also delivered speeches.

本刊记者:您作为中欧标准化信息平台的创始人之一,建立该平台的初衷是什么?陈钢主任"搭建平台、服务企业、促进贸易"是我们的初衷.在中欧双边贸易中,我们了解到多数企业,尤其是中小企业对对方的技术法规和标准信息了解甚少,最重要的原因就是双方缺少获取这些信息的有利渠道.因此,我们利用现代的信息技术搭建了双语标准信息平台.中方于2006年正式向欧方提出搭建中欧标准化信息平台的建议,得到了欧方的积极回应.根据中欧贸易情况,双方选取了现有的电子器械、医疗设备、机械、环境保护4个领域作为平台首先建设的内容.

Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning!We come to the 28th Plenary Meeting of ISO/TC 176 in Beijing just after the World Standards Day Conference in this so nice October.Secretary General of ISO,Rob Steele,especially sent us a video speech to express his congratulations on World Standards Day activities and ISO/TC 176 Meeting held by China.This year also marks the tenth anniversary of SAC.As the undertaker of this meeting,on behalf of SAC,I am greatly honored to send my congratulations on the opening of this meeting,my welcome to all experts and friends here,and my sincere thanks to relevant units and friends who made great contributions to this meeting.

Cheng Gang, Researcher and Doctor of Engineering in Solid Mechanics of Tsinghua University Dr. Chen once served successively as Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the Boiler Pressure Container Inspection Center of the State Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chief Engineering of China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute of AQSIQ, Vice Administrator, Chief Engineer and Member of the Leading Party Group of SAC, and Director-General of Bureau of Safety Supervision of Special Equipment of AQSIQ.
