The quality of perovskite films is critical to the performance of perovskite solar cells. However, it is challenging to control the crystallinity and orientation of solution‐processed perovskite films. Here, solution‐phase van der Waals epitaxy growth of MAPbI3 perovskite films on MoS2 flakes is reported. Under transmission electron microscopy, in‐plane coupling between the perovskite and the MoS2 crystal lattices is observed, leading to perovskite films with larger grain size, lower trap density, and preferential growth orientation along (110) normal to the MoS2 surface. In perovskite solar cells, when perovskite active layers are grown on MoS2 flakes coated on hole‐transport layers, the power conversion efficiency is substantially enhanced for 15%, relatively, due to the increased crystallinity of the perovskite layer and the improved hole extraction and transfer rate at the interface. This work paves a way for preparing high‐performance perovskite solar cells and other optoelectronic devices by introducing 2D materials as interfacial layers.  相似文献

Employing a layer of bulk‐heterojunction (BHJ) organic semiconductors on top of perovskite to further extend its photoresponse is considered as a simple and promising way to enhance the efficiency of perovskite‐based solar cells, instead of using tandem devices or near infrared (NIR)‐absorbing Sn‐containing perovskites. However, the progress made from this approach is quite limited because very few such hybrid solar cells can simultaneously show high short‐circuit current (JSC) and fill factor (FF). To find an appropriate NIR‐absorbing BHJ is essential for highly efficient, organic, photovoltaics (OPV)/perovskite hybrid solar cells. The materials involved in the BHJ layer not only need to have broad photoresponse to increase JSC, but also possess suitable energy levels and high mobility to afford high VOC and FF. In this work, a new porphyrin is synthesized and blended with [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) to function as an efficient BHJ for OPV/perovskite hybrid solar cells. The extended photoresponse, well‐matched energy levels, and high hole mobility from optimized BHJ morphology afford a very high power conversion efficiency (PCE) (19.02%) with high Voc, JSC, and FF achieved simultaneously. This is the highest value reported so far for such hybrid devices, which demonstrates the feasibility of further improving the efficiency of perovskite devices.  相似文献

Despite the recent advances in the performance of perovskite light‐emitting diodes (PeLEDs), the effects of water on the perovskite emissive layer and its electroluminescence are still unclear, even though it has been previously demonstrated that moisture has a significant impact on the quality of perovskite films in the fabrication process of perovskite solar cells and is a prerequisite for obtaining high‐performance PeLEDs. Here, the effects of postmoisture on the luminescent CH3NH3PbBr3 (MAPbBr3) perovskite films are systematically investigated. It is found that postmoisture treatment can efficiently control the morphology and growth of perovskite films and only a fast moisture exposure at a 60% high relative humidity results in significantly improved crystallinity, carrier lifetime, and photoluminescence quantum yield of perovskite films. With the optimized moisture‐treated perovskite films, a high‐performance PeLED is fabricated, exhibiting a maximum current efficiency of 20.4 cd A?1, which is an almost 20‐fold enhancement when compared with perovskite films without moisture treatment. The results provide valuable insights into the moisture‐assisted growth of luminescent perovskite films and will aid in the development of high‐performance perovskite light‐emitting devices.  相似文献

Comprising an emitting layer (EML) constituting a wide‐energy‐gap host, a thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) sensitizer and a conventional fluorescent dopant, TADF‐sensitizing‐fluorescence organic light‐emitting diodes (TSF‐OLEDs) highly depend on component interplay to maximize their performance, which, however, is still under‐researched. Taking the host type (TADF or non‐TADF) and the recombination position (on the host or on the TADF sensitizer) into consideration, the interplay of host and TADF sensitizer is comprehensively studied and manipulated. A wide‐energy‐gap host with TADF and recombination of charges on it are both required to maximize device performances by triggering multiple sensitizing processes to eliminate exciton losses. Based on those findings, a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE)/power efficiency (PE) of 23.2%/76.9 lm W?1 is realized with a newly developed TADF host, significantly outperforming the reference devices. Further device optimization leads to unprecedently high EQE/PE of 24.2%/89.5 lm W?1 and a half‐lifetime of over 400 h at an initial luminance of 2000 cd m?2, with the peak PE being the highest value among the reported TSF‐OLEDs. This work reveals the importance of manipulating the component interplay in EMLs, opening a new avenue toward highly efficient TSF‐OLEDs.  相似文献

Tin (Sn)‐based perovskites are increasingly attractive because they offer lead‐free alternatives in perovskite solar cells. However, depositing high‐quality Sn‐based perovskite films is still a challenge, particularly for low‐temperature planar heterojunction (PHJ) devices. Here, a “multichannel interdiffusion” protocol is demonstrated by annealing stacked layers of aqueous solution deposited formamidinium iodide (FAI)/polymer layer followed with an evaporated SnI2 layer to create uniform FASnI3 films. In this protocol, tiny FAI crystals, significantly inhibited by the introduced polymer, can offer multiple interdiffusion pathways for complete reaction with SnI2. What is more, water, rather than traditional aprotic organic solvents, is used to dissolve the precursors. The best‐performing FASnI3 PHJ solar cell assembled by this protocol exhibits a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 3.98%. In addition, a flexible FASnI3‐based flexible solar cell assembled on a polyethylene naphthalate–indium tin oxide flexible substrate with a PCE of 3.12% is demonstrated. This novel interdiffusion process can help to further boost the performance of lead‐free Sn‐based perovskites.  相似文献

Improved performance in plasmonic organic solar cells (OSCs) and organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) via strong plasmon‐coupling effects generated by aligned silver nanowire (AgNW) transparent electrodes decorated with core–shell silver–silica nanoparticles (Ag@SiO2NPs) is demonstrated. NP‐enhanced plasmonic AgNW (Ag@SiO2NP–AgNW) electrodes enable substantially enhanced radiative emission and light absorption efficiency due to strong hybridized plasmon coupling between localized surface plasmons (LSPs) and propagating surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) modes, which leads to improved device performance in organic optoelectronic devices (OODs). The discrete dipole approximation (DDA) calculation of the electric field verifies a strongly enhanced plasmon‐coupling effect caused by decorating core–shell Ag@SiO2NPs onto the AgNWs. Notably, an electroluminescence efficiency of 25.33 cd A?1 (at 3.2 V) and a power efficiency of 25.14 lm W?1 (3.0 V) in OLEDs, as well as a power conversion efficiency (PCE) value of 9.19% in OSCs are achieved using hybrid Ag@SiO2NP–AgNW films. These are the highest values reported to date for optoelectronic devices based on AgNW electrodes. This work provides a new design platform to fabricate high‐performance OODs, which can be further explored in various plasmonic and optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

In hybrid organic–inorganic lead halide perovskite solar cells, the energy loss is strongly associated with nonradiative recombination in the perovskite layer and at the cell interfaces. Here, a simple but effective strategy is developed to improve the cell performance of perovskite solar cells via the combination of internal doping by a ferroelectric polymer and external control by an electric field. A group of polarized ferroelectric (PFE) polymers are doped into the methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) layer and/or inserted between the perovskite and the hole‐transporting layers to enhance the build‐in field (BIF), improve the crystallization of MAPbI3, and regulate the nonradiative recombination in perovskite solar cells. The PFE polymer‐doped MAPbI3 shows an orderly arrangement of MA+ cations, resulting in a preferred growth orientation of polycrystalline perovskite films with reduced trap states. In addition, the BIF is enhanced by the widened depletion region in the device. As an interfacial dipole layer, the PFE polymer plays a critical role in increasing the BIF. This combined effect leads to a substantial reduction in voltage loss of 0.14 V due to the efficient suppression of nonradiative recombination. Consequently, the resulting perovskite solar cells present a power conversion efficiency of 21.38% with a high open‐circuit voltage of 1.14 V.  相似文献

In this study, a novel perovskite quantum dot (QD) spray‐synthesis method is developed by combining traditional perovskite QD synthesis with the technique of spray pyrolysis. By utilizing this new technique, the synthesis of cubic‐shaped perovskite QDs with a homogeneous size of 14 nm is demonstrated, which shows an unprecedented stable absolute photoluminescence quantum yield ≈100% in the solution and even in the solid‐state neat film. The highly emissive thin films are integrated with light emission devices (LEDs) and organic light emission displays (OLEDs). The color conversion type QD‐LED (ccQD‐LED) hybrid devices exhibit an extremely saturated green emission, excellent external quantum efficiency of 28.1%, power efficiency of 121 lm W?1, and extraordinary forward‐direction luminescence of 8 500 000 cd m?2. The conceptual ccQD‐OLED hybrid display also successfully demonstrates high‐definition still images and moving pictures with a 119% National Television System Committee 1931 color gamut and 123% Digital Cinema Initiatives‐P3 color gamut. These very‐stable, ultra‐bright perovskite QDs have the properties necessary for a variety of useful applications in optoelectronics.  相似文献

A simple, low‐cost, large area, and continuous scalable coating method is proposed for the fabrication of hybrid organic–inorganic perovskite solar cells. A megasonic spray‐coating method utilizing a 1.7 MHz megasonic nebulizer that could fabricate reproducible large‐area planar efficient perovskite films is developed. The coating method fabricates uniform large‐area perovskite film with large‐sized grain since smaller and narrower sized mist droplets than those generated by existing ultrasonic spray methods could be generated by megasonic spraying. The volume flow rate of the CH3NH3PbI3 precursor solution and the reaction temperature are controlled, to obtain a high quality perovskite active layer. The devices reach a maximum efficiency of 16.9%, with an average efficiency of 16.4% from 21 samples. The applicability of megasonic spray coating to the fabrication of large‐area solar cells (1 cm2), with a power conversion efficiency of 14.2%, is also demonstrated. This is a record high efficiency for large‐area perovskite solar cells fabricated by continuous spray coating.  相似文献

Perovskite solar cells with all‐organic transport layers exhibit efficiencies rivaling their counterparts that employ inorganic transport layers, while avoiding high‐temperature processing. Herein, it is investigated how the choice of the fullerene derivative employed in the electron‐transporting layer of inverted perovskite cells affects the open‐circuit voltage (VOC). It is shown that nonradiative recombination mediated by the electron‐transporting layer is the limiting factor for the VOC in the cells. By inserting an ultrathin layer of an insulating polymer between the active CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite and the fullerene, an external radiative efficiency of up to 0.3%, a VOC as high as 1.16 V, and a power conversion efficiency of 19.4% are realized. The results show that the reduction of nonradiative recombination due to charge‐blocking at the perovskite/organic interface is more important than proper level alignment in the search for ideal selective contacts toward high VOC and efficiency.  相似文献

Minimization of defects and ion migration in organic–inorganic lead halide perovskite films is desirable for obtaining photovoltaic devices with high power conversion efficiency (PCE) and long‐term stability. However, achieving this target is still a challenge due to the lack of efficient multifunctional passivators. Herein, to address this issue, n‐type goethite (FeOOH) quantum dots (QDs) are introduced into the perovskite light‐absorption layer for achieving efficient and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs). It is found that the iron, oxygen, and hydroxyl of FeOOH QDs can interact with iodine, lead, and methylamine, respectively. As a result, the crystallization kinetics process can be retarded, thereby resulting in high quality perovskite films with large grain size. Meanwhile, the trap states of perovskite can be effectively passivated via interaction with the under‐coordinated metal (Pb) cations, halide (I) anions on the perovskite crystal surface. Consequently, the PSCs with FeOOH QDs achieve a high efficiency close to 20% with negligible hysteresis. Most strikingly, the long‐term stability of PSCs is significantly enhanced. Furthermore, compared with the CH3NH3PbI3‐based device, a higher PCE of 21.0% is achieved for the device assembled with a Cs0.05FA0.81MA0.14PbBr0.45I2.55 perovskite layer.  相似文献

Mesoscale‐structured materials offer broad opportunities in extremely diverse applications owing to their high surface areas, tunable surface energy, and large pore volume. These benefits may improve the performance of materials in terms of carrier density, charge transport, and stability. Although metal oxides–based mesoscale‐structured materials, such as TiO2, predominantly hold the record efficiency in perovskite solar cells, high temperatures (above 400 °C) and limited materials choices still challenge the community. A novel route to fabricate organic‐based mesoscale‐structured interfaces (OMI) for perovskite solar cells using a low‐temperature and green solvent–based process is presented here. The efficient infiltration of organic porous structures based on crystalline nanoparticles allows engineering efficient “n‐i‐p” and “p‐i‐n” perovskite solar cells with enhanced thermal stability, good performance, and excellent lateral homogeneity. The results show that this method is universal for multiple organic electronic materials, which opens the door to transform a wide variety of organic‐based semiconductors into scalable n‐ or p‐type porous interfaces for diverse advanced applications.  相似文献

Harvesting of both triplets and singlets yields electroluminescence quantum efficiencies of nearly 100% in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs), but the production efficiency of excitons that can undergo radiative decay is theoretically limited to 100% of the electron–hole pairs. Here, breaking of this limit by exploiting singlet fission in an OLED is reported. Based on the dependence of electroluminescence intensity on an applied magnetic field, it is confirmed that triplets produced by singlet fission in a rubrene host matrix are emitted as near‐infrared (NIR) electroluminescence by erbium(III) tris(8‐hydroxyquinoline) (ErQ3) after excitonic energy transfer from the “dark” triplet state of rubrene to an “emissive” state of ErQ3, leading to NIR electroluminescence with an overall exciton production efficiency of 100.8%. This demonstration clearly indicates that the harvesting of triplets produced by singlet fission as electroluminescence is possible even under electrical excitation, leading to an enhancement of the quantum efficiency of the OLEDs. Electroluminescence employing singlet fission provides a route toward developing high‐intensity NIR light sources, which are of particular interest for sensing, optical communications, and medical applications.  相似文献

The development of the photostable higher‐order multiphoton‐excited (MPE) upconversion single microcrystalline material is fundamentally and technologically important, but very challenging. Here, up to five‐photon excited luminescence in a host–guest metal–organic framework (MOF) and perovskite quantum dot (QD) hybrid single crystal ZJU‐28?MAPbBr3 is shown via an in situ growth approach. Such a MOF strategy not only results in a high QD loading concentration, but also significantly diminishes the aggregation‐caused quenching (ACQ) effect, provides effective surface passivation, and greatly reduces the contact of the QDs with the external bad atmosphere due to the confinement effect and protection of the framework. These advantages make the resulting ZJU‐28?MAPbBr3 single crystals possess high PLQY of ≈51.1%, a high multiphoton action cross‐sections that can rival the current highest record (measured in toluene solution), and excellent photostability. These findings liberate the excellent luminescence and nonlinear optical properties of perovskite QDs from the solution system to the solid single‐crystal system, which provide a new avenue for the exploitation of high‐performance multiphoton excited hybrid single microcrystal for future optoelectronic and micro–nano photonic integration applications.  相似文献

Tin(Sn)‐based perovskite is currently considered one of the most promising materials due to extending the absorption spectrum and reducing the use of lead (Pb). However, Sn2+ is easily oxidized to Sn4+ in atmosphere, causing more defects and degradation of perovskite materials. Herein, double‐sided interface engineering is proposed, that is, Sn‐Pb perovskite films are sandwiched between the phenethylammonium iodide (PEAI) in both the bottom and top sides. The larger organic cations of PEA+ are arranged into a perovskite surface lattice to form a 2D capping layer, which can effectively prevent the water and oxygen to destroy bulk perovskite. Meanwhile, the PEA+ can also passivate defects of iodide anions at the bottom of perovskite films, which is always present but rarely considered previously. Compared to one sided passivation, Sn‐Pb hybrid perovskite photodetectors contribute a significant enhancement of performance and stability, yielding a broadband response of 300–1050 nm, a low dark current density of 1.25 × 10–3 mA cm–2 at –0.1 V, fast response speed of 35 ns, and stability beyond 240 h. Furthermore, the Sn‐Pb broadband photodetectors are integrated in an infrared up‐conversion system, converting near‐infrared light into visible light. It is believed that a double‐sided passivation method can provide new strategies to achieving high‐performance perovskite photodetectors.  相似文献

The external quantum efficiency (EQE) of organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) has been dramatically improved by developing highly efficient organic emitters such as phosphorescent emitters and thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitters. However, high‐EQE OLED technologies suffer from relatively poor device lifetimes in spite of their high EQEs. In particular, the short lifetimes of blue phosphorescent and TADF OLEDs remain a big hurdle to overcome. Therefore, the high‐EQE approach harvesting singlet excitons of fluorescent emitters by energy transfer processes from the host or sensitizer has been explored as an alternative for high‐EQE OLED strategies. Recently, there has been a big jump in the EQE and device lifetime of singlet‐exciton‐harvesting fluorescent OLEDs. Recent progress on the materials and device structure is discussed herein.  相似文献

Controlled growth of high‐quality patterned perovskite films on a large scale is essentially required for the application of this class of materials in functional integrated devices and systems. Herein, graphene‐assisted hydrophilic–hydrophobic surface‐induced growth of Cs‐doped FAPbI3 perovskite films with well‐patterned shapes by a one‐step spin‐coating process is developed. Such a facile fabrication technique is compatible with a range of spin‐coated perovskite materials, perovskite manufacturing processes, and substrates. By employing this growing method, controllable perovskite photodetector arrays are realized, which have not only prominent photoresponse properties with a responsivity and specific detectivity of 4.8 AW?1 and 4.2 × 1012 Jones, respectively, but also relatively small pixel‐to‐pixel variation. Moreover, the photodetectors array can function as an effective visible light image sensor with a decent spatial resolution. Holding the above merits, the proposed technique provides a convenient and effective pathway for large‐scale preparation of patterned perovskite films for multifunctional application purposes.  相似文献

Solution processed phosphorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been actively developed due to merits of high quantum efficiency of phosphorescent materials and simple fabrication processes of solution processed OLEDs. The device performances of the solution processed phosphorescent OLEDs have been greatly improved in the last 10 years and the progress of the device performances was made by the development of small molecule host materials for solution processes. A hybrid host of polymer and small molecules, a single small molecule host and a mixed host of small molecule hosts have effectively enhanced the quantum efficiency of the solution processed phosphorescent OLEDs. Therefore, this paper reviews recent developments in small molecule host materials for solution processed phosphorescent OLEDs and provides future directions for the development of the small molecule host materials.  相似文献

Perovskite‐based organic–inorganic hybrids hold great potential as active layers in electronics or optoelectronics or as components of biosensors. However, many of these applications require thin films grown with good control over structure and thickness—a major challenge that needs to be addressed. The work presented here is an effort towards this goal and concerns the layer‐by‐layer deposition at ambient conditions of ferromagnetic organic–inorganic hybrids consisting of alternating CuCl4‐octahedra and organic layers. The Langmuir‐Blodgett technique used to assemble these structures provides intrinsic control over the molecular organization and film thickness down to the molecular level. Magnetic characterization reveals that the coercive field for these thin films is larger than that for solution‐grown layered bulk crystals. The strategy presented here suggests a promising cost effective route to facilitate the excellently controlled growth of sophisticated materials on a wide variety of substrates that have properties relevant for the high density storage media and spintronic devices.  相似文献

Metal halide perovskite materials have attracted great attention owing to their fascinating optoelectronic characteristics and low cost fabrication via facile solution processing. One of the potential applications of these materials is to employ them as color‐conversion layers (CCLs) for visible blue light to achieve full‐color displays. However, obtaining thick perovskite films to realize complete color conversion is a key challenge. Here, the fabrication of micrometer‐level thick CsPbBr3 perovskite films is presented through a facile vacuum drying approach. An efficient green photoconversion is realized in a 3.8 µm thick film from blue light @ 463 nm. For a back luminance of 1000 cd m?2, the brightness of the resulting green emission can reach as high as 200 cd m?2. Furthermore, only ≈2% of decay in brightness is observed when the films are tested after 18 days of exposure to ambient environment. In addition, a potential design is also proposed for full‐color displays with perovskite materials incorporated as CCLs.  相似文献
