Two silver(I) complexes—{[Ag(4‐pmOpe)]NO3}n and [Ag(2‐bimOpe)2]NO3—and three copper(II) complexes—[Cu4Cl6O(2‐bimOpe)4], [CuCl2(4‐pmOpe)2], and [CuCl2(2‐bis(pm)Ope]—were synthesized by reaction of silver(I) nitrate or copper(II) chloride with phosphate derivatives of pyridine and benzimidazole, namely diethyl (pyridin‐4‐ylmethyl)phosphate (4‐pmOpe), 1H‐benzimidazol‐2‐ylmethyl diethyl phosphate (2‐bimOpe), and ethyl bis(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)phosphate (2‐bis(pm)Ope). These compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR as well as IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and ESIMS spectrometry. Additionally, molecular and crystal structures of {[Ag(4‐pmOpe)]NO3}n and [Cu4Cl6O(2‐bimOpe)4] were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The antimicrobial profiles of synthesized complexes and free ligands against test organisms from the ATCC and clinical sources were determined. Silver(I) complexes showed good antimicrobial activities against Candida albicans strains (MIC values of ~19 μM ). [Ag(2‐bimOpe)2]NO3 was particularly active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis, with MIC values of ~5 and ~10 μM , respectively. Neither copper(II) complexes nor the free ligands inhibited the growth of test organisms at concentrations below 500 μg mL?1.  相似文献

A novel family of tetraaza macrocyclic Cu(II) complexes [CuLX(2)] (where L = N(4) donor macrocyclic ligands) and (X = Cl(-), NO(3) (-)) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic moments, IR, EPR, mass, electronic spectra and thermal studies. The magnetic moments and electronic spectral studies suggest square planar geometry for [Cu(DBACDT)]Cl(2) and [Cu(DBACDT)](NO(3))(2) complexes and distorted octahedral geometry to the rest of the ten complexes. The biological activity of all these complexes against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria was compared with the activity of existing commercial antibacterial compounds like Linezolid and Cefaclor. Six complexes out of twelve were found to be most potent against both gram-positive as well as gram-negative bacteria due to the presence of thio group in the coordinated ligands.  相似文献

文章利用琥珀酸酐对壳聚糖进行改性,并合成了两个新的配合物:sucts-Cu(Ⅱ)-hpb(1)和sucts-Cu(Ⅱ)-tbz(2)[sucts=琥珀酰化壳聚糖,hpb=2-(2’-吡啶)-苯并咪唑,tbz=2-(4′-噻唑基)苯并咪唑]。应用红外光谱,紫外-可见光谱,原子吸收光谱对配合物进行了表征,采用试管倍比稀释法研究了这些配合物对苏云金杆菌、枯草芽孢杆菌、大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抑制作用。结果表明,两种配合物对四种细菌均有较强的抑菌活性,配合物1、2,最小抑菌浓度(MIC)分别为62.5~125μg.mL-1和125~250μg.mL-1,抗菌效果明显强于自由配体。  相似文献

Two structurally different copper(II) complexes of the compositions [{Cu(9dhx)(H2O)3}2(µ-SO4)2] (1) and [Cu(9dhx)2(H2O)2(NO3)2]·H2O (2), involving 9-deazahypoxanthine (9dhx; 6-oxo-9-deazapurine; 9-deazahypoxanthine), have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and electronic spectroscopy, electrospray ionisation (ESI) mass spectrometry, thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal (DTA) analyses, and cyclic voltammetry. The X-ray structures of complexes 1 and [Cu(9dhx)2(H2O)2(NO3)2] (2a) revealed the distorted octahedral geometry in the vicinity of the copper(II) atoms, with the NO5 and N2O4 donor set, respectively. In the dimeric compound 1, the {Cu(9dhx)(H2O)3}2 units are bridged by sulfate groups with the Cu···Cu separation being 5.3446(2) Å. In both structures the 9dhx ligands are coordinated through the N3 atoms of the pyrimidine moieties. The SOD-like activity of complexes 1 and 2 was evaluated in vitro showing moderate effect, with the IC50 values equal to 18.20, and 53.33 μM, respectively.  相似文献

A series of eight copper (II) complexes with 3-(4-chloro-3-nitrophenyl)thiourea were designed and synthesized. The cytotoxic activity of all compounds was assessed in three human cancer cell lines (SW480, SW620, PC3) and human normal keratinocytes (HaCaT). The complexes 1, 3, 5, 7 and 8 were cytotoxic to the studied tumor cells in the low micromolar range, without affecting the normal cells. The complexes 1, 3, 7 and 8 induced lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release in all cancer cell lines, but not in the HaCaT cells. They provoked early apoptosis in pathological cells, especially in SW480 and PC3 cells. The ability of compounds 1, 3, 7 and 8 to diminish interleukin-6 (IL-6) concentration in a cell was established. For the first time, the influence of the most promising Cu (II) complexes on intensities of detoxifying and reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging the enzymes of tumor cells was studied. The cytotoxic effect of all copper (II) conjugates against standard and hospital bacterial strains was also proved.  相似文献

A series of four new copper(II) complexes [Cu(H2L)(L1)] 1, [Cu(H2L)(PMDT)] 2, [Cu(H2L)(Dien)] 3 and [Cu(H2L)(L2)] 4 have been synthesized by template condensation (H2L=thiodiglycolic acid, L1=N-[(1)-1-(4-methylphenyl)ethylidene]benzohydrazide, PMDT=N,N,N′,N′,N ′′-pentamethyldiethylene- triamine, Dien=diethylenetriamine L2=N-[(1)-pyridin-2-ylmethylidene]benzohydrazide). The bonding and stereochemistry of the complexes have been characterized by molar conductance, elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, infrared, UV–visible, electron paramagnetic resonance structural studies and electrochemical studies. g-Values were calculated for all complexes in polycrystalline form as well as in DMSO solution. The magnetic and spectral data indicate square pyramidal geometry for 1 and octahedral geometry for 24 complexes. Cyclic voltammograms for all the complexes are similar and involve two irreversible redox processes. Their biological properties have also been studied. The thio complexes show more antibacterial activity than the controlled one. The antibacterial activities of the compounds have also been tested against Escherichia coli with different concentrations.  相似文献

In a previous article, we reported on the higher toxicity of silver(I) complexes of miconazole [Ag(MCZ)2NO3 (1)] and [Ag(MCZ)2ClO4 (2)] in HepG2 tumor cells compared to the corresponding salts of silver, miconazole and cisplatin. Here, we present the synthesis of two silver(I) complexes of miconazole containing two new counter ions in the form of Ag(MCZ)2X (MCZ = 1-[2-(2,4-dichlorobenzyloxy)-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)ethyl]-1H-imidazole]; X = BF4 (3), SbF6 (4)). The novel silver(I) complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and infrared (IR) spectroscopy, electrospray ionization (ESI)-MS spectrometry and X-ray-crystallography. In the present study, the antimicrobial activity of all obtained silver(I) complexes of miconazole against six strains of Gram-positive bacteria, five strains of Gram-negative bacteria and yeasts was evaluated. The results were compared with those of a silver sulfadiazine drug, the corresponding silver salts and the free ligand. Silver(I) complexes exhibited significant activity against Gram-positive bacteria, which was much better than that of silver sulfadiazine and silver salts. The highest antimicrobial activity was observed for the complex containing the nitrate counter ion. All Ag(I) complexes of miconazole resulted in much better inhibition of yeast growth than silver sulfadiazine, silver salts and miconazole. Moreover, the synthesized silver(I) complexes showed good or moderate activity against Gram-negative bacteria compared to the free ligand.  相似文献

New azomethine compounds of 2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde or 5-chloro-2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde and the corresponding chlorine-substituted anilines, zinc(II) complexes based on them have been synthesized. The structures of azomethines and their complexes were determined by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. It is found that all ZnL2 complexes have a tetrahedral structure according to XAFS and X-ray diffraction data. The photoluminescent properties of azomethines and zinc complexes in methylene chloride solution and in solid form have been studied. It is shown that the photoluminescence quantum yields of solid samples of the complexes are an order of magnitude higher compared to the solutions and range from 11.34% to 48.3%. The thermal properties of Zn(II) complexes were determined by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry. The TGA curves of all the compounds suggest their high thermal stability up to temperatures higher than 290 °C. The electrochemical properties of all complexes were investigated by the cyclic voltammetry method. The multilayered devices ITO/PEDOT:PSS/NPD/Zn complex/ TPBI/LiF/Al with wide electroluminescence (EL) color range spanning the range from bluish-green (494 nm) to green (533 nm) and the high values of brightness, current and power efficiency were fabricated. The biological activity of azomethines and zinc complexes has been studied. In the case of complexes, the protistocidal activity of the zinc complex with azomethine of 5-chloro-2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde with 4-chloroaniline was two times higher than the activity of the reference drug toltrazuril.  相似文献

A series of new heteroleptic copper(II) complexes of the composition [Cu(L)(bpy)]NO3·2MeOH (1), [Cu(L)(dimebpy)]NO3·2H2O (2), [Cu(L)(phen)]NO3·2MeOH (3), [Cu(L)(bphen)]NO3·MeOH (4), [Cu(L)(dppz)]NO3·MeOH (5) was prepared, where HL = 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-8,8-dimethyl-6-(3-methylbut-2-ene-1-yl)-4H,8H-benzo[1,2-b:3,4-b′]dipyran-4-one, (pomiferin) and bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, dimebpy = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, bphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, and dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine. The complexes were characterized using elemental analysis, infrared and UV/Vis spectroscopies, mass spectrometry, thermal analysis and conductivity measurements. The in vitro cytotoxicity, screened against eight human cancer cell lines (breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7), osteosarcoma (HOS), lung adenocarcinoma (A549), prostate adenocarcinoma (PC-3), ovarian carcinoma (A2780), cisplatin-resistant ovarian carcinoma (A2780R), colorectal adenocarcinoma (Caco-2) and monocytic leukemia (THP-1), revealed the complexes as effective antiproliferative agents, with the IC50 values of 2.2–13.0 μM for the best performing complexes 3 and 5. All the complexes 1–5 showed the best activity against the A2780R cells (IC50 = 2.2–6.6 μM), and moreover, the complexes demonstrated relatively low toxicity on healthy human hepatocytes, with IC50 > 100 μM. The complexes were evaluated by the Annexin V/propidium iodide apoptosis assay, induction of cell cycle modifications in A2780 cells, production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), perturbation of mitochondrial membrane potential, inhibition of apoptosis and inflammation-related signaling pathways (NF-κB/AP-1 activity, NF-κB translocation, TNF-α secretion), and tested for nuclease mimicking activity. The obtained results revealed the corresponding complexes to be effective antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory agents.  相似文献

Zinc compounds have a number of beneficial properties for the skin, including antimicrobial, sebostatic and demulcent activities. The aim of the study was to develop new anti-acne preparations containing zinc–amino acid complexes as active ingredients. Firstly, the cytotoxicity of the zinc complexes was evaluated against human skin fibroblasts (1BR.3.N cell line) and human epidermal keratinocyte cell lines, and their antimicrobial activity was determined against Cutibacterium acnes. Then, zinc complexes of glycine and histidine were selected to create original gel formulations. The stability (by measuring pH, density and viscosity), microbiological purity (referring to PN-EN ISO standards) and efficacy of the preservative system (according to Ph. Eur. 10 methodology) for the preparations were evaluated. Skin tolerance was determined in a group of 25 healthy volunteers by the patch test. The preparations containing zinc(II) complexes with glycine and histidine as active substances can be topically used in the treatment of acne skin due to their high antibacterial activity against C. acnes and low cytotoxicity for the skin cells. Dermatological recipes have been appropriately composed; no irritation or allergy was observed, and the preparations showed high microbiological purity and physicochemical stability.  相似文献

This paper reports the design, synthesis and cytotoxicity studies of two new isoxazole-derived aroylhydrazone ligands and their dinuclear copper(II) complexes. Compounds were fully characterized by various spectroscopic and analytical techniques. The molecular structures of four derivatives were confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The stability of the ligands and the complexes in aqueous medium was monitored spectroscopically. Both the ligands and the complexes were shown to interact with calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA). Additionally, structures containing a phenol pendant arm were significantly more cytotoxic than those carrying a pendant pyridine substituent, reaching sub-micromolar IC50 values on the triple-negative human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231. The metal chelation and transchelation ability of the compounds towards FeII, FeIII and ZnII ions was explored as a possible mechanism of action of these compounds.  相似文献

Pd(II), Pt(II) and Ag(I) ions were found to form stable complexes with 4-(p-tolyl)- or 4-ethyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl)thiosemicarbazides (Hp-TPTS or HEPTS). The complex structure was elucidated by analysis (elemental and thermal), spectroscopy (electronic, IR and 1H NMR spectra) and physical measurements (magnetic susceptibility and molar conductance). The ligands coordinate to the metal ions as monobasic bidentate through nitrogen and sulfur atoms. The electronic spectra of the Pt(II) complexes in DMF showed a metal to ligand charge transfer transition at 11,935–13,260 cm?1. The structural, electronic and vibrational features of HEPTS and Hp?TPTS were discussed on the basis of semi-empirical quantum mechanic calculations [ZINDO/S and semi-empirical parameterization (PM3)]. The simulated IR and electronic spectra are found reasonable in accordance with the experimental data. Finally, the antibacterial activities of the ligands and their complexes were investigated and some were found promising.  相似文献

以肉桂醛-2-呋喃甲酰腙与Co Cl2·6H2O为原料,在不同的反应条件下合成得到两个钴配合物,并通过FTIR、热重分析、X-射线单晶衍射等手段对其进行了表征。X-射线单晶衍射结果表明:两个配合物均为四角双锥构型,属单斜晶系。配合物Co(L)2(H2O)2属P21/c空间群,晶胞参数为a=1.706 2(2)nm,b=1.059 17(13)nm,c=0.742 00(9)nm;β=101.738(2)°,V=1.312 9(3)nm3,Z=2。配合物Co(L)2(Imz)2属C2/c空间群,晶胞参数为a=2.481 4(2)nm,b=0.848 96(8)nm,c=1.936 96(18)nm;β=121.132 0(10)°,V=3.492 7(6)nm3,Z=4。热重分析表明,两个配合物均有较高的热稳定性。  相似文献

A solvothermal reaction of a clip‐type dicarboxylic acid H2 DCA [3,3′‐((5‐nitroisophthaloyl)bis(azanediyl))‐dibenzoic acid] and Cu(NO3)2 in equimolar ratio in dimethylformamide (DMF) yielded MOF(CuCG1) which was formed by interlinking [4+2] self‐assembled polyhedral cages via coordination between amide moiety present in the linker and the axial position of copper paddlewheel Cu2(CO2)4. Upon a change in the solvent from DMF to DMA [dimethylacetamide] the interlinking among the polyhedra was successfully terminated to get single crystals of a discrete coordination cage with DMA bound to axial position of Cu(II) ( CuCG2 ). Similar termination of the interlinking was also achieved by a fast crystallization process to get discrete architecture CuCG1 .  相似文献

The constantly growing resistance of bacteria to antibiotics and other antibacterial substances has led us to an era in which alternative antimicrobial therapies are urgently required. One promising approach is to target bacterial pathogens using metal complexes. Therefore, we investigated the possibility of utilizing series of manganese(II) complexes with heteroaromatic ligands: Alcohol, aldehyde, ketone, and carboxylic acid as inhibitors for biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. To complete the series mentioned above, Mn-dipyCO-NO3 with dipyridin-2-ylmethanone (dipyCO) was isolated, and then structurally (single-crystal X-ray analysis) and physicochemically characterized (FT-IR, TG, CV, magnetic susceptibility). The antibacterial activity of the compounds against representative Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria was also evaluated. It is worth highlighting that the results of the cytotoxicity assays performed (MTT, DHI HoloMonitorM4) indicate high cell viability of the human fibroblast (VH10) in the presence of the Mn(II) complexes. Additionally, the inhibition effect of catalase activity by the complexes was studied. This paper focused on such aspects as studying different types of intermolecular interactions in the crystals of the Mn(II) complexes as well as their possible effect on anti-biofilm activity, the structure–activity relationship of the Mn(II) complexes, and regularity between the electrochemical properties of the Mn(II) complexes and anti-biofilm activity.  相似文献

In this study, the adsorption of Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions from aqueous solutions onto amidoximated polymerized banana stem (APBS) has been investigated. Infrared spectroscopy was used to confirm graft copolymer formation and amidoxime functionalization. The different variables affecting the sorption capacity such as pH of the solution, adsorption time, initial metal ion concentration, and temperature have been investigated. The optimum pH for maximum adsorption was 10.5 (99.99%) for Zn2+ and 6.0 (99.0%) for Cu2+ at an initial concentration of 10 mg L?1. Equilibrium was achieved approximately within 3 h. The experimental kinetic data were analyzed using pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models and are well fitted with pseudo- second-order kinetics. The thermodynamic activation parameters such as ΔGo, ΔHo, and ΔSo were determined to predict the nature of adsorption. The temperature dependence indicates an exothermic process. The experimental isotherm data were well fitted to the Langmuir model with maximum adsorption capacities of 42.32 and 85.89 mg g?1 for Cu(II) and Zn(II), respectively, at 20°C. The adsorption efficiency was tested using industrial effluents. Repeated adsorption/regeneration cycles show the feasibility of the APBS for the removal of Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions from water and industrial effluents.  相似文献

The activity of phosphate groups of phosphoethanolamine and pyrimidine nucleotides (thymidine 5-monophosphate, cytidine 5-monophosphate and uridine 5’monophosphate) in the process of complexation metal ions in aqueous solution was studied. Using the potentiometric method with computer calculation of the data and spectroscopic methods such as UV-Vis, EPR, 13C and 31P NMR as well as FT-IR, the overall stability constants of the complexes as well as coordination modes were obtained. At lower pH, copper(II) ions are complexed only by phosphate groups, whereas the endocyclic nitrogen atom of nucleotides has been identified as a negative center interacting with the -NH3+ groups of phosphoethanolamine.  相似文献

以硝酸镉与吡啶-4-甲酸(HIA)为原料在水热条件下合成了配合物[Cd(IA)2(H2O)4],并用红外光谱、元素分析和X射线单晶衍射进行了表征。该配合物属三斜晶系,P-1空间群,晶胞参数为:a=6.4400(5)nm,b=6.9489(6)nm,c=9.4051(8)nm,α=95.2600(10)°,β=104.580(2)°,γ=111.570(2)°,V=0.037079(5)nm3。配合物中Cd(Ⅱ)位于变形八面体环境中,与分属于两个吡啶-4-甲酸根的2个N原子以及来自于四个配位水分子的O原子配位。  相似文献
