虚拟现实技术发展很快,有广泛的工业和商业应用。网络虚拟现实技术已越来越为工业制造业所关注,虚拟制造环境(VME)的一个主要用途是在线可视化和对3D信息的协作控制,这需要实时数据传输的支持。为了满足基于Internet的VE通信需求,特别是为满足虚拟制造和协作设计和控制,该文设计并实现了一个支持网络虚拟设计和制造的网络虚拟现实系统,此系统用MMS协议实现VE通信,并将工业控制服务集成于基于Internet的虚拟环境中。  相似文献

Complex virtual human representation provides more natural interaction and communication among participants in networked virtual environments, hence it is expected to increase the sense of being together within the same virtual world. We present a flexible framework for the integration of virtual humans in networked collaborative virtual environments. A modular architecture allows flexible representation and control of the virtual humans, whether they are controlled by a physical user using all sorts of tracking and other devices, or by an intelligent control program turning them into autonomous actors. The modularity of the system allows for fairly easy extensions and integration with new techniques making it interesting also as a testbed for various domains from “classic” VR to psychological experiments. We present results in terms of functionalities, example applications and measurements of performance and network traffic with an increasing number of participants in the simulation.  相似文献

As manufacturing environments are getting distributed and increasing in size, the related virtual environments are getting larger and more closely networked together. This trend has led to a new paradigm—large-scale virtual manufacturing environment (LSVME). It supports networked and distributed virtual manufacturing to meet manufacturing system requirements. Since it contains a large number of virtual components, an effective data structure and collaborative construction methodology are needed. A metaearth architecture is proposed as the data structure for representing LSVME. This architecture consists of virtual space layer, mapping layer, library layer and ontology layers, which describe interaction among virtual components and has the ability to analyze the characteristics of virtual environment. In addition, it increases reusability of virtual components and supports self-reconfiguration for manufacturing simulation. A heuristic construction method based on graph theory is proposed using this architecture. It prevents redundant design of virtual components and contributes to an effective construction scheduling technique for collaborative designers.  相似文献

E-learning systems have gone through a radical change from the initial text-based environments to more stimulating multimedia systems. Such systems are Collaborative Virtual Environments, which could be used in order to support collaborative e-learning scenarios. The main aim of this paper is to aid educational designers in selecting, designing and evaluating three dimensional collaborative virtual environments in order to gain the pedagogical benefits of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning. Therefore, this paper initially discusses the potential of three dimensional networked virtual environments for supporting collaborative learning. Furthermore, based on a two-step platform selection process this paper (a) presents and compares three dimensional multi-user virtual environments for supporting collaborative learning and (b) validates the most promising solution against a set of design principles for educational virtual environments. According to these principles, an educational environment has been implemented on top of the selected platform in order to support collaborative e-learning scenarios. The design of this environment is also presented. In addition, this paper presents the results of three small scale studies carried out in a tertiary education department, to assess the educational environment. This environment has been evaluated based on a hybrid evaluation methodology for uncovering usability problems, collecting further requirements for additional functionality to support collaborative virtual learning environments, and determining the appropriateness of different kinds of learning scenarios.

Recently,virtual environment (VE) based design and planning,which is a kind of interaction intensive computing,has shown great potential.Most users of such systems are specialists or technicians and their 3D interactions with the system embed a great deal of knowledge and skills.Thus,how to integrate human knowledge and skills into VE is a great challenge to researchers in the human computer interaction field.This paper proposes a method for acquiring user knowledge from VE.The main ideas and work include,abstracting the interactive process and formalizing the interactive semantics,as well as providing a semantic model of an interactive information repository,from which user interactive processes can be retrieved and all kinds of application logics can be established.A virtual assembly planning system is introduced as an example of a practical application of this method.Experiments show that the related models can well capture user knowledge and retrieve the interaction process.  相似文献

多用户共享虚拟环境是指网络化的协同虚拟现实系统,在该环境中多个用户之间通过各自的三维图形表示实现在虚拟环境中的多人感知,用户之间的交互以及对虚拟对象的协同操纵,在综合分析现有系统以及Internet的开放性标准化需求基础上,提出了一种基于Internet的多用户共享虚拟环境解决方案,即多用户共享虚拟环境框架(multi-user shared virtual envitonment framework,MSVEF),该框架描述了多用户虚拟环境的体系结构,定义了基于XML的相关交互协议,通过在原型系统中的初步应用,证明该框架可以支持不同网络平台的用户在同一个虚拟场景中的再现与交互。  相似文献

为了有效地实现网络制造环境下资源共享与优化配置,提出了协同制造链的概念,指出协同制造链是一种围绕零件制造过程的网络化制造动态联盟.在此基础上给出了协同制造链的定义和形式化描述,并以某航空发动机关键零件为具体应用研究对象,详细分析了协同制造链的构建和演化过程;同时,对协同制造链构建和演化过程中的关键问题--协同制造链排序进行了重点研究,建立了该问题的数学描述模型,设计并实现了一个基于蚂蚁算法的协同制造链排序策略.最后通过实例验证了该策略的有效性.  相似文献

Advances in distributed technologies have enabled engineers to communicate more effectively, collaborate, obtain, and exchange a wide range of design resources during product development. Shared internet-based virtual environments allow experts in remote locations to analyze a virtual prototype, together and simultaneously in centers in which the product is being developed.This paper presents a system for distributed and collaborative environment which could assist manufacturing enterprises and experts in discussing, suggesting, evaluating and selecting best process plans for family of manufacturing parts. The represented e-CAPP system enables the implementation of expert knowledge in an appropriate knowledge repository. The knowledge from this repository is integrated into intra-company CAPP systems and used while generating process plans for new products. The proposed internet-based collaborative environment, dedicated to distributed process planning, is yet another step in the direction advancing of distributed manufacturing.  相似文献

目的虚拟制造环境中需要复杂精确的3D人机交互。目前的虚拟环境(VE)的主要问题是人在交互过程中的认知和操作负荷太重,交互效率亟需提高。解决此问题的重要途径是提高机器的认知能力。方法本文研究了用户意图的分析和抽取,并建立多通道用户意图理解的算法,以此来提高交互效率。结果结合虚拟装配应用给出了典型意图的实验结果并给予分析。通过实验对多通道意图的可用性和可靠性,以及基于意图系统的实时性进行了评估。实验是虚拟装配空间中用户拾取对象意图的实验。当3维鼠标和对象距离为5 000 mm时,传统系统中操作平均耗时5.344 7 s,而基于意图的系统中平均耗时2.326 6 s。基于意图的系统极大地降低了操作的时间和复杂度。结论采用意图驱动的系统情景转换能在虚拟环境工作中有效地降低人的认知负荷,并能很好地帮助系统开发者进行混成系统的建模和分析,降低开发的复杂度。实践结果表明用户意图理解的多通道模型和算法能极大地提高交互式系统的交互自然性和交互效率。该方法不仅适用于本文所用的虚拟装配系统,对于所有的虚拟环境应用场景都有同样的有效性。  相似文献

This paper presents an approach for tool selection-embedded optimal assembly planning in dynamic manufacturing environments. It aims to embed assembly tools into the planning process of assembly sequences in a dynamic shop-floor. The experimental results demonstrate that the developed approach is efficient and practical for a high fidelity assembly sequence with alternatives of assembly-tool sets. The dynamic assembly planning can efficiently support product assembly by generating feasible assembly sequences. It provides an effective design-aiding tool to virtually deal with various what-if scenarios regarding product assembly. In particular, the Web-based application developed in this research can be incorporated into a high-performance design and manufacturing environment on the Web, forming a distributed, collaborative and globally networked tool for product assembly planning.  相似文献

The way-finding behaviour and response during a fire emergency in a virtual environment (VE) was experimentally investigated. Forty participants, divided into two groups, were required to find the emergency exit as soon as possible in a virtual hotel building because of a fire escape demand under condition 1 (VE without virtual fire, control group) and condition 2 (VE with virtual fire, treatment group). Compared to the control group, the treatment group induced significantly higher skin conductivity and heart rate, experienced more stress, took longer time to notice the evacuation signs, had quicker visual search and had a longer escape time to find the exit. These results indicated that the treatment condition induced higher physiological and psychological stress, and had influenced the escape behaviour compared to the control group. In practice, fire evacuation education and fire evacuation system design should consider the response characteristics in a fire emergency.  相似文献

In order to meet the requirements of customers' pursuit of personalized and diversified needs, enterprises need to change from the traditional mass manufacturing model to mass personalization manufacturing model. On the other hand, collaborative manufacturing based on stakeholders will effectively solve the problems of information asymmetry, low operational efficiency and insufficient resource utilization in the process of manufacturing. Moreover, the new model of open community manufacturing is conducive to the planning, allocation, optimization and management of various networked and social resources. Therefore, combined with above three innovative models of mass personalization manufacturing, collaborative manufacturing and open community manufacturing, this paper studies the online merchant resource allocation and matching of open community collaborative manufacturing (OCCM) for mass personalization (MP) model to realize the innovation of design model, improve design efficiency and save design resource cost. Firstly, the workflow for OCCM in MP model based on system engineering analysis method is studied. Secondly, online merchant resource allocation for OCCM based on social network analysis (SNA) and online merchant resource matching for OCCM based on fuzzy clustering are proposed. At last, a case study for OCCM in the automotive industry is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and methods.  相似文献
