With car–parapet collision accidents in mind, a normal collision between a free-flying half ring and a simply supported beam with/without axial constraints is studied, in which an elastic–plastic half ring with an attached mass and the elastic–plastic beam are taken as the simplest models of a car and a parapet, respectively. Particular attention is paid to the energy partitioning between the two structures and the evolution of the contact regions during collision. A mass–spring finite difference (MS–FD) model is employed whilst the large deflection and axial stretching/compression are incorporated. The numerical results show that the less stiff (i.e. softer) structure will dissipate more energy and the contact regions will move away from the initial contact points. With the increase of the relative thickness of the beam to the ring, the final deformation of the half ring will transform from a “U” shape to a “W” shape.  相似文献

An approximate solution is given for the thermoelastic contact problem in which a rotating sphere is loaded against a half-space. Frictional heating causes a redistribution of contact pressure away from the axis of rotation. This paper describes the nonradiation (Forster) energy transfer between a dye J-aggregate and closely located nanoparticles possessing the properties of two-level systems. Nanoparticles can be quantum dots (QDs) or a spherical symmetric package of atoms. The dynamics of the process is described by deriving the equations that characterize the density matrix dynamics in a two-level medium and the evolution of exciton pulses in an extended quasi-one-dimensional dye J-aggregate. It is shown that effective controlled resonant transfer of the energy stored in QDs is implemented in the system and manifested in the amplification of the exciton pulses. In turn, there is a possibility of the reverse process of exciton energy transfer in partial inversion of two-level transitions of QDs. The results of this paper are confirmed by the experimental data from the literature.  相似文献

A novel technique, referred to as a vector setting in the aerospace industry, has been developed for positioning and orienting drilling bushes on curved surfaces. The position and orientation of holes and their axes in parts and tooling in the aerospace industry must conform to strict tolerances; however, the process of locating and orienting the bushes in drilling plates having curved surfaces is slow and time consuming. This is because the existing process used is a trial and error one, and past research in automated drilling in the aerospace industry has not covered this area. A prototype device has been developed which reduces the setting time. The device has two angular adjustments, which are computed using specially written software. The device is used in conjunction with a 3D spatial measurement system in order to determine reference points on the part or tooling and the device. Experimental results on a prototype indicate a substantial time saving as well as good accuracy in orienting the drill axis at a given point on a surface.  相似文献

In this paper the extent of contact between a circular plate and its tensionless edge support is studied. The solution is obtained by employing the Ritz method. The displacement function is approximated in terms of the functions which satisfy exactly one of the boundary conditions. The other boundary condition is satisfied approximately by taking the harmonic average. The numerical results showing the effects of the configuration of loading and the stiffness of the support on the extent of the contact and on the edge displacement of the plate are presented in various diagrams. The results which correspond to a very low support stiffness are compared with those of a rigid plate, and very good agreement is found.  相似文献

针对机器人坐标系与激光跟踪仪坐标系的转换问题,提出一种机器人单轴旋转运动与自身读数相结合的方法。将靶标球安装在机器人末端,用激光跟踪仪实时测量球心坐标,对机器人单轴转动产生的圆弧轨迹进行空间圆拟合,由三个空间圆的单位法向量可得到旋转矩阵。再求取球心初始位置相对于机器人默认工具点的坐标偏移量,便可反推机器人坐标系原点在激光跟踪仪坐标系下的坐标,即平移向量。实验结果表明,转换后空间点X、Y、Z坐标的RMS误差分别为0.216 mm、0.111 mm、0.157 mm。  相似文献
