The effect of injection pressure, piston velocity, and the forming temperature of semisolid slurry on the filling behavior of the semi-solid A356 aluminum alloy was investigated by simulation methods. A water-cooled serpentine channel pouring process was invented to produce semi-solid A356 aluminum alloy slurry for rheocasting, and the effects of pouring temperature and circulating cooling water flux on the microstructure of the slurry were investigated. The results show that at the pouring temperature of 640-680°C and the circulating cooling water flux of 0.9 m3/h, the semi-solid A356 aluminum alloy slurry with spherical primary α(Al) grains can be obtained, whose shape factors are between 0.78 and 0.86 and the grain diameter can reach 48-68 μm. When the pouring temperatures are at 660-680°C, only a very thin solidified shell remains inside the serpentine channel and can be removed easily. When the serpentine channel is cooled with circulating water, the microstructure of the semi-solid slurry can be improved, and the serpentine channel is quickly cooled to room temperature after the completion of one pouring. In terms of the productivity of the special equipment, the water-cooled serpentine channel is economical and efficient.  相似文献

通过计算和理论推导相蛄合的方法建立了耦合丰固态铝舍金表观粘度的触变充型模拟的三维数学模型.确定了边界条件和初始条件,模拟对比分析了半固态充型及液态充型流动特征。模拟结果表明了半固态充型和液态充型具有不同特征.半固态克型过程具有层流流动特征,液态充型流动基本呈现紊流特征,容易导致铸件出现气孔度氧化夹杂等缺陷。  相似文献

在考虑半固态AZ91D镁合金充型过程的压力和速度变化特征的基础上,建立了模拟计算所需要的表观黏度数学模型。采用ProCAST软件,对半固态镁合金压铸充型过程进行模拟,预测卷气、夹杂物产生的可能性,以便优化其工艺参数和工艺方案。结果表明,与全液态镁合金充型过程相比,半固态金属充型平稳,模具寿命长,铸件质量好;改变内浇道和溢流槽的设置位置和数量,还可有效地减少铸件本身内部杂质,提高铸件质量。  相似文献

利用复合工艺制备了A356铝合金半固态浆料,研究了半固态A356铝合金初生相形貌的分形特征.应用编制的计算程序计算了半固态A356铝合金初生相形貌的分形维数.结果表明,复合工艺制备的半固态A356铝合金初生相的形貌可以用分形维数来表征,不同工艺参数下所获得的半固态初生相形貌具有不同的分形维数.铸锭中不同部位半固态初生相的形貌具有不同的分形维数,反映了同一铸锭不同部位的凝固条件对半固态初生相形貌的影响.凝固组织中的每个半固态初生相的分形形貌均为系统耗散性的几何表现.  相似文献

The effects of slurry temperature, injection pressure, and piston velocity on the rheo-filling ability of semisolid A356 alloys were studied by the reho-diecasting methods. The results show that the slurry temperature of the semi-solid A356 aluminum alloy has an important effect on the filling ability; the higher the slurry temperature, the better is the filling ability, and the appropriate slurry temperature for rheo-filling is in the range of 585-595℃. The injection pressure also has a great effect on the filling ability, and it is appropriate to the rheo-filling when the injection pressure is in the range of 15-25 MPa. The piston velocity also has a great effect on the filling ability, and it is appropriate to the rheo-filling when the piston velocity is in the range of 0.072-0.12 m/s. The filling ability of the slurry prepared by low superheat pouring with weak electromagnetic stirring is very good and the microstructural distribution in the rheo-formed die castings is homogeneous, which is advantageous to the high quality die casting. 2008 University of Science and Technology Beijing. 以AZ31半固态合金为研究对象,应用流体模拟软件Fluent对其铸轧过程进行研究。通过使用简单等温稳态黏度模型、Carreau黏度模型、简单连续冷却黏度模型、黏度不变模型,得到了相应的铸轧温度分布、流场分布以及黏度分布,并进行了比较和分析。结果表明:在特定工况下,为保证出口处的合金刚好凝固而不会造成铸轧不成形或铸轧中断的最佳浇铸温度为880 K,此时Carreau黏度模型最适合AZ31半固态合金的铸轧过程。  相似文献

利用同轴双筒流变仪研究了半固态Al-10%Cu合金的流变行为,发现在连续冷却试验中,被剪切半固态合金浆液的表观粘度随着固相分数以及冷却速度的上升而增加,随切变速率的上升而下降;在等温试验中,其表观粘度随等温时间的上升而下降,大约1000s后达到“稳态”值。  相似文献

Rheology experiments were carried out on succinonitrile-4% (mass fraction) camphor alloy, using a Haake VT550 viscometer. The results showed that the steady state viscosity of succinonitrile-4% camphor alloy in semi-solid process can be described well by the classical power law of viscosity versus shear rate, η= kγm, and the test method can be used to simulate the semi-solid processing for metals. The viscosity of the organic alloy decreases with increasing shear rate at a given temperature within liquid-solid range, and the viscosity of the organic alloy slurries increases with decreasing temperature, decreases with decreasing cooling rate. The structure and viscosity of organic alloy during solidification are strongly influenced by shear rate.  相似文献

首先建立了汽车保险杠树脂传递模塑充模过程的三维数学模型;然后利用有限元/控制体积法对该模型进行了数值模拟,并对树脂在模腔内的流动进行了表述;最后优化出该成型工艺的最佳工艺条件:前期注射压力设定在0.4 MPa以下,后期注射压力设定为0.6—0.8MPa,合理树脂黏度为0.15 Pa.s左右。采用该工艺条件可有效降低制件的气泡缺陷。  相似文献

In semi-solid forming process, preparing the slurry with rosette or globular microstructure is very important. A new ap- proach named the damper cooling tube method (DCT), to produce the semi-solid metal slurry, has been introduced. To optimize the technical parameters in designing the apparatus, the finite volume method was adopted to simulate the flow process. 金属材料的半固态成形是一种能够获得致密组织及高性能零部件的近净成形技术,被认为是一项绿色成形新技术。在简要介绍半固态成形技术研究现状的基础上,着重叙述了作者进行高能超声波制备铝合金半固态浆料、半固态浆料流变压铸成形的试验研究。研究表明,超声制浆及半固态压铸成形工艺适合于铝合金零件的成形制造。含20%Si 的高硅铝合金Al-20Si-2Cu-1Ni经过半固态压铸成形,T6热处理后抗拉强度可达到310MPa,比传统液态压铸提高34%。  相似文献

A novel one-step semisolid processing technique, the rheo-diecasting (RDC) process, was developed, which adapts in situ creation of semisolid metal slurry with fine and spherical solid particles followed by direct shaping of the slurry into a near-net shape component using the existing cold chamber diecasting process. The RDC process was applied to process A356 and A380 aluminum alloys. The resulting microstructures and mechanical properties of RDC products under as-cast and various heat treatment conditions were analyzed. The experimental results show that the RDC samples have an extremely low porosity, a fine and uniform microstructure throughout entire casting, and consequently much improved strength and ductility in the as-cast condition. The strength of RDC A356 alloy can be substantially improved under T5 and T6 heat treatments without loss of ductility.  相似文献

采用有限元软件DEFORM-3D^TM模拟SiCp/A356铝合金复合材料电子封装壳体的成形过程,应用等温压缩实验数据分析材料模型触变成形过程中金属流动速度场和温度场分布,并对可能产生的成形缺陷进行预测。研究发现,一模四件的模型更适合半固态触变成形,缺陷可能出现在最后成形的成形件侧棱两角。  相似文献

The microstructure of semi-solid slurry of AZ91D alloy, which was produced by twin-screw stirring mixer under the different parameters, was investigated. Rheoforming by cold chamber die casting process was performed thereafter. The results indicate that with decreasing of the barrel temperature of the mixer and the pouring temperature of molten Mg alloy, the solid fraction of semi-solid slurry increases and the size of non-den-dritic grains becomes smaller. While the shear rate increases, the solid fraction of semi-solid slurry decreases. The tensile strength and elongation of metal rheoformed by die casting are higher by about 37% and 44% respectively than those produced by conventional liquid die casting.  相似文献

The microstructural evolution and apparent viscosity of hypereutectic Al-24%Si alloy during semi-solid state shearing were studied with a Searte type viscometer. When the alloy melt was continuously stirred from 720℃ to eutectic temperature, the primary Si crystals were gradually changed from elongated platelets to near-spherical shapes. It was found that some nondendritic a-phase formed when the melt was stirred below 585℃. The experiment showed that the semi-solid stirring had strong effect on inhibiting the anisotropic growth of Si crystals during solidification. The apparent viscosity of the alloy melt increased slowly with the decreasing of temperature before the formation of nondendritic α-phase, which caused the dramatic increase of apparent viscosity.  相似文献
