Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) due to their nonreactive surface can not effectively disperse in polymeric matrix. Efficient exploitation of CNTs properties to improve material performance is generally related to the degree of dispersion, saturation by the matrix and interfacial adhesion. In order to obtain a suitable dispersion, the CNTs usually need treatment before they can be utilized. In this work, an easy procedure for preparation a stable dispersion of well separated and individual CNTs in an aqueous polymeric solution by using of Gum Arabic (GA) and modified polymer has been described. The applied polymer was a modified water soluble acrylonitrile polymer. The modification was carried out through functionalizing polyacrylonitrile by 2‐aminoethanol. Individual dispersion of the CNTs in the aqueous GA solution after two month can be observed. By incorporating the modified polyacrylonitrile to the solution, the stability of the individual CNTs dispersion several times was increased in such a way that after six month, the CNTs were still kept at their individual positions. According to the suggested mechanism of dispersion, hydrogen bonds between GA/CNTs and the modified polyacrylonitrile chains can be formed that increasing the dispersion ability. The effects of salts and temperature on dispersion ability of GA were also studied. 相似文献

采用混酸氧化法对碳纳米管进行化学处理,制备了分散均匀的稳定的碳管悬浮液.FTIR研究表明:经化学处理后的碳管表面带上了羧基及羟基等基团. TEM显示处理后的碳管缠绕程度明显降低. ζ电位测试结果表明,处理后碳管表面酸根离子的离解增大了碳管表面的负电荷,增强了悬浮液的稳定性.通过测定有效粒径及沉降百分比进一步证实了处理后的碳管悬浮液具有更高的分散性及稳定性. 相似文献

采用一种新型简易的化学气相沉积法(CVD)直接在泡沫镍表面均匀地沉积生长碳纳米管(CNTs),然后通过真空导入模塑成型工艺(VIMP)将选定的环氧树脂体系填入表面负载CNTs的泡沫镍孔洞,制备CNTs-泡沫镍/环氧树脂复合材料。利用FE-SEM、TEM和Raman对在不同反应温度条件下泡沫镍表面形貌和所生成CNTs的形貌、结构及石墨化程度进行了表征,并采用动态机械分析仪(DMA)研究了CNTs对泡沫镍/环氧树脂复合材料阻尼性能的影响。结果表明:当反应温度为680℃时,在泡沫镍表面可获得较好的CNTs沉积效果,且所生成的CNTs石墨化程度和纯度较高且直径尺寸较为均匀。同时所制备的CNTs-泡沫镍/环氧树脂复合材料比泡沫镍/环氧树脂复合材料,最大损耗因子tanδ_(max)从0.69提高到0.78,玻璃化转变温度Tg从60℃偏移到68℃,有效阻尼温域ΔT从39℃扩宽到44℃,整体阻尼性能提高了18.9%。 相似文献

Interaction of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) and nanovoids embedded in a metal matrix is studied comparatively. For this purpose, two nearby CNTs/nanovoids are modeled as two similar cylindrical inclusions/holes in an infinite matrix. The nonlocal stresses around the CNTs/nanovoids are obtained by applying the integral constitutive equation of the nonlocal elasticity to the stresses from the complex stress potential method. Also, in order to bring different nonlocality effects of dissimilar media into account, the influence function of the nonlocal elasticity is modified. Effects of the CNTs/nanovoids size and distance as well as far-field loading ratio on the stress state in the matrix are investigated. The CNTs strengthening effect on the matrix is shown through lower stresses at the CNTs and matrix interface in comparison to the applied stress. Furthermore, it is indicated that the modified nonlocal analysis brings out the interaction of CNTs/nanovoids at smaller distances in comparison with those the classical analysis used to predict. In other words, higher volume fraction of the CNTs/nanovoids can be incorporated in the metal matrices without devastating effects of their interactions. 相似文献

We report a general strategy for functionalizing the sidewalls of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which is based on electrophilic substitution reactions on phenylated CNTs. By using this strategy, four new functionalized CNTs were prepared, including diphenyl ketone, benzenesulfonyl chloride, benzyl chloride and thiophenol modified CNTs. The benzenesulfonyl chloride and benzyl chloride functinalized CNTs could serve as novel initiators for surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization. The thiophenol modified CNTs were used in immobilizing Pd nanoparticles on the CNT surface, and the CNT/Pd hybrid produced exhibits good catalytic efficiency for the electrochemical oxidation of methanol. 相似文献

利用电磁动态注射机注射成型聚丙烯试样制品,并用热老化试验箱人工加速其试样的老化降解。对比分析了稳态注射和动态注射成型的聚丙烯试样制品热氧老化期间力学性能的变化规律,用红外光谱(FT-IR)分析了聚丙烯试样制品老化前后羰基含量的变化情况。研究结果表明,采用动态注射成型技术,不但可以提高聚丙烯制品的力学性能,而且还能有效提高制品的抗热氧老化性能。制品在热氧老化过程中,其力学性能保持率高于稳态注射成型的聚丙烯制品。采用振频为8 Hz、振幅为0.10 mm的动态注射成型的聚丙烯试样制品的抗热氧老化性能最好。 相似文献
