This paper concerns the asynchronously switched control problem for a class of switched linear systems with average dwell time (ADT) in both continuous-time and discrete-time contexts. The so-called asynchronous switching means that the switchings between the candidate controllers and system modes are asynchronous. By further allowing the Lyapunov-like function to increase during the running time of active subsystems, the extended stability results for switched systems with ADT in nonlinear setting are first derived. Then, the asynchronously switched stabilizing control problem for linear cases is solved. Given the increase scale and the decrease scale of the Lyapunov-like function and the maximal delay of asynchronous switching, the minimal ADT for admissible switching signals and the corresponding controller gains are obtained. A numerical example is given to show the validity and potential of the developed results.  相似文献

This paper investigates the passivity issues of discrete-time two-dimensional switched systems in Roesser model under a state-dependent switching law. Conditions for passivity of discrete-time two-dimensional switched systems are obtained without the requirement of passivity of subsystems. When the system states are completely available, state feedback controllers and switching laws are designed. In the case of partial state measurements, dynamic output feedback controllers and switching laws depending only on the state of the output feedback controllers are constructed to guarantee passivity of the closed-loop switched system. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency of the results.  相似文献

We consider quadratic stabilization of uncertain switched systems when a switching rule is imposed on state feedback controllers of subsystems. A method is proposed to constructively design switching rules for continuous and discrete-time switched systems with norm-bounded time-varying uncertainties. The switching rules designed via this method do not rely on uncertainties, and the switched system is quadratically stabilizable via switched state feedback for all uncertainties.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the passivity analysis and feedback passification for switched discrete-time linear systems using multiple storage functions under a certain switching law. Controllers and switching laws are designed based on complete and partial state measurements, respectively. Conditions for strict passivity of a switched discrete-time system are obtained without the requirement of strict passivity of subsystems. In the case of partial state measurements, dynamic output feedback controllers for subsystems are designed, and a switching law depending only on the state of the output feedback controllers is constructed to guarantee strict passivity of the closed-loop switched system. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper studies incremental passivity and global output regulation for switched nonlinear systems, whose subsystems are not required to be incrementally passive. A concept of incremental passivity for switched systems is put forward. First, a switched system is rendered incrementally passive by the design of a state-dependent switching law. Second, the feedback incremental passification is achieved by the design of a state-dependent switching law and a set of state feedback controllers. Finally, we show that once the incremental passivity for switched nonlinear systems is assured, the output regulation problem is solved by the design of global nonlinear regulator controllers comprising two components: the steady-state control and the linear output feedback stabilising controllers, even though the problem for none of subsystems is solvable. Two examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the passivity analysis and output feedback passification for a class of switched continuous-time systems. A switching law and control units are designed to guarantee the passivity of closed-loop switched systems. Different from the exist results in state-dependent switching framework, we construct a novel switching law such that the switched system obeys a minimal dwell time between any two consecutive switchings. This avoids the possible arbitrarily fast switching caused by state-dependent switching law. Moreover, the switching law uses only the lower bound of the dwell time and partial measurable states of the closed-loop system, which is applicable in output feedback framework. Using multiple discretized storage functions, the controllers working on different time intervals are obtained, which ensure the closed-loop system is passive under the switching law. Finally, two examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed results.  相似文献

This paper addresses the passivity and feedback passification of the saturated switched systems. A switching law and output feedback controllers are designed such that the corresponding closed-loop systems are with the passivity and disturbance tolerance capacity. The switching law satisfies a maximal dwell time (DT) condition, which avoids too high switching frequency. More importantly, under the switching law, the storage function is allowed to be increased during the DT and then decreased due to the drop of itself at the mixed time/state-dependent switching instants. This releases the performance requirement of existing results where the storage function must be non-increasing all the time. Finally, the existence of the upper bound of DT and output feedback controllers is guaranteed by solving some linear matrix inequalities. Two examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This work presents a hybrid nonlinear control methodology for a broad class of switched nonlinear systems with input constraints. The key feature of the proposed methodology is the integrated synthesis, via multiple Lyapunov functions, of “lower-level” bounded nonlinear feedback controllers together with “upper-level” switching laws that orchestrate the transitions between the constituent modes and their respective controllers. Both the state and output feedback control problems are addressed. Under the assumption of availability of full state measurements, a family of bounded nonlinear state feedback controllers are initially designed to enforce asymptotic stability for the individual closed-loop modes and provide an explicit characterization of the corresponding stability region for each mode. A set of switching laws are then designed to track the evolution of the state and orchestrate switching between the stability regions of the constituent modes in a way that guarantees asymptotic stability of the overall switched closed-loop system. When complete state measurements are unavailable, a family of output feedback controllers are synthesized, using a combination of bounded state feedback controllers, high-gain observers and appropriate saturation filters to enforce asymptotic stability for the individual closed-loop modes and provide an explicit characterization of the corresponding output feedback stability regions in terms of the input constraints and the observer gain. A different set of switching rules, based on the evolution of the state estimates generated by the observers, is designed to orchestrate stabilizing transitions between the output feedback stability regions of the constituent modes. The differences between the state and output feedback switching strategies, and their implications for the switching logic, are discussed and a chemical process example is used to demonstrate the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the positive stabilization for a class of switched systems under asynchronous switching signals. Because it inevitably takes some time to identify the active subsystem in the real systems and activate the corresponding controller, the switching of controllers lags behind that of subsystems, which arises the problem of the asynchronous switching. By analyzing the solution of dynamic systems, the mode‐dependent controllers are designed to guarantee the positivity and exponential stability for the resultant closed‐loop switched linear systems under asynchronous switching signals in continuous‐time and discrete‐time cases, respectively. Sufficient conditions for the existence of admissible state‐feedback controllers are developed, and the corresponding switching signals are designed. Furthermore, a synchronous switching phenomenon is discussed as a special case. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results. This article is concerned with the problem of state feedback control for a class of discrete-time switched singular systems with time-varying state delays under asynchronous switching. The asynchronous switching considered here means that the switching instants of the candidate controllers lag behind those of the system modes. The concept of mismatched control rate is introduced. By using the multiple Lyapunov function approach and the average dwell time technique, a sufficient condition for the existence a stabilising switching law is first derived to guarantee the regularity, causality and exponential stability of the closed-loop system in the presence of asynchronous switching. The stabilising switching law is characterised by a upper bound on the mismatched control rate and a lower bound on the average dwell time. Then, the corresponding solvability condition for a set of mode-dependent state feedback controllers is established by using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the problem of adaptive stabilization for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems, whose non-switching part consists of feedback linearizable dynamics. The main result is that we propose adaptive controllers such that the considered switched systems with unknown parameters can be stabilized under arbitrary switching signals. First, we design the adaptive state feedback controller based on tuning the estimations of the bounds on switching parameters in the transformed system, instead of estimating the switching parameters directly. Next, by incorporating some augmented design parameters, the adaptive output feedback controller is designed. The proposed approach allows us to construct a common Lyapunov function and thus the closed-loop system can be stabilized without the restriction on dwell-time, which is needed in most of the existing results considering output feedback control. A numerical example and computer simulations are provided to validate the proposed controllers.  相似文献

This paper studies the stability and stabilization problems for a class of switched stochastic systems under asynchronous switching. The asynchronous switching refers to that the switching of the candidate controllers does not coincide with the switching of system modes. Two situations are considered: (1) time-delayed switching situation, that is, the switching of the candidate controllers has a lag to the switching of the system modes; (2) mismatched switching situation, the switching of the candidate controllers does not match the switching of the system modes. Using average dwell time and Lyapunov-like function, sufficient conditions are established for stochastic input-to-state stability of the whole system. Also, the stabilizing controller design approach is proposed for switched stochastic linear systems. The minimal average dwell time and the controller gain are achieved. Finally, a numerical example is used to demonstrate the validity of the developed results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the quantised consensus problem for switched multi-agent system which is composed of continuous-time and discrete-time subsystems. We adopt the distributed consensus protocols based on the quantised relative state measurements of agents. By using the properties of Laplacian matrix, it is shown that the switched multi-agent system can reach consensus exponentially with logarithmic quantiser under arbitrary switching. It is also proved that the distance between the states of any pair of neighbouring agents just converges to a bounded set when uniform quantisers are utilised. Simulation examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

It has become a common practice to employ networks in control systems for connecting controllers and sensors/actuators on controlled plants and processes. A network-based switched control system, as a special case of networked control systems, is studied. Such a system is represented with network-induced delays and packet dropout as a switched delay system. Sufficient conditions for robust exponential stability are derived for a class of switching signals with average dwell time. A stabilization design for continuous-time, linear switched plant with nonlinear perturbation under a given communication network via a hybrid state feedback controller is proposed. A hybrid controller design is network-dependent and given in terms of linear matrix inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, the co-design of continuous-variable controllers and discrete-event switching logics, both in state feedback form, is investigated for a class of discrete-time switched linear control systems. It is assumed that none of the subsystems is stabilized through a continuous state feedback alone. However, it is possible to stabilize the whole switched system via carefully designing both the continuous controllers and the switching logics. Sufficient synthesis conditions for this co-design problem are proposed here in the form of bilinear matrix inequalities, which is based on the argument of multiple Lyapunov functions. The closed-loop switched system forms a special class of linear hybrid system, and is shown to be asymptotically stable with a finite l 2 induced gain.  相似文献

A two-layer switching architecture and a two-layer switching rule for stabilization of switched linear control systems are proposed, under which the mismatched switching between switched systems and their candidate hybrid controllers can be allowed. In the low layer, a state-dependent switching rule with a dwell time constraint to exponentially stabilize switched linear systems is given; in the high layer, supervisory conditions on the mismatched switching frequency and the mismatched switching ratio are presented, under which the closed-loop switched system is still exponentially stable in case of the candidate controller switches delay with respect to the subsystems. Different from the traditional switching rule, the two-layer switching architecture and switching rule have robustness, which in some extend permit mismatched switching between switched subsystems and their candidate controllers.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the relation between the switching dwell time and the stabilization of switched linear control systems. First of all, a concept of critical dwell time is given for switched linear systems without control inputs, and the critical dwell time is taken as an arbitrary given positive constant for a switched linear control systems with controllable switching models. Secondly, when a switched linear system has many stabilizable switching models, the problem of stabilization of the overall system is considered. An on-line feedback control is designed such that the overall system is asymptotically stabilizable under switching laws which depend only on those of uncontrollable subsystems of the switching models. Finally, when a switched system is partially controllable (While some switching models are probably unstabilizable), an on-line feedback control and a cyclic switching strategy are designed such that the overall system is asymptotically stabilizable if all switching models of this uncontrollable subsystems are asymptotically stable. In addition, algorithms for designing switching laws and controls are presented.  相似文献
