商务智能的理论和应用研究综述

本文从学术界和企业界对商务智能的研究和应用遇到的问题出发,对1990年以来的商务智能的研究和应用进行总结,分别对商务智能的概念、组成部分进行讨论,得出一个综合的商务智能理论框架,明确了商务智能理论与应用的发展方向.     

一种基于XML的企业知识管理框架

描述了基于互联网络上全新的通用描述性语言———可扩展的标识语言XML的企业知识管理框架。利用XML的优点来对企业中如何更为有效地进行知识管理进行了描述,并对知识管理当中的主要对象诸如知识对象、连接对象等进行了提取,描述了其相关的属性,构建了相应的文档类型声明DTD模板,从而开发了一个基于XML的知识管理框架。     

Knowledge Mapping: Getting Started with Knowledge Management

Knowledge mapping can be a powerful tool for CIOs in implementing knowledge management in their organizations. A knowledge map can bridge the gap between business and information technology (IT) people. It can also capture and integrate the knowledge collected in an initial knowledge management identification process. the value of these initial knowledge maps can then be extended to incorporate the rest of the intellectual capital of an enterprise.

The Orientation of Business Process Management toward the Creation of Knowledge in Enterprises

The main condition for the survival and development of contemporary enterprises is a focus on changes in the business environment. Business Process Management is a concept that enables efficient adaptation to changing business environment conditions. Currently, companies tend to focus on the process approach, using the knowledge that is available within the company. This paper presents research results related to knowledge management in Poland and to both Polish and worldwide practices of Business Process Management. This presentation is followed with a discussion that provides inspiration for in‐depth empirical research in this field. Currently, there is an urgent need for research that addresses the challenging issues related to the integration of available knowledge management technologies, concepts, and methods into organizational business processes.

Capitalising Knowledge: Corporate Knowledge Management Investments

Knowledge is increasingly recognized as the key resource of business. Digital networks provide access to vast amounts of data and information but knowledge management tools and systems are required to translate this in a meaningful way. Knowledge management initiatives are unlikely to be successful unless they are integrated with business strategy, and related to the development of the core capabilities of the organisation. Sharing the discovery and synthesis of intellectual activity involves the creation of knowledge communities of practice. There is much evidence of commercially inspired corporate initiatives in this direction across all industrial sectors: leveraging existing intellectual capital; sharing best practice across multiple locations; data mining to build customer relationships; and creating knowledge networks to allow state–of–the–art solutions in professional services.     

本体驱动的动态虚拟社区知识通信

知识通信是实现语义Web的有效途径之一。该文给出知识通信的定义和特点,构建了基于动态虚拟社区的P2P知识通信架构;为实现高效知识路由,建立了基于本体的任务元知识库、任务实例库、规则库、本体知识库,设计了具有发现、协调和定位服务资源等功能的路由服务Agent,建立了本体驱动、分散控制的快速、准确、高效的知识路由机制。     

知识管理中的基于XML的知识存储

在研究和分析了四种XML存储方式各自特点的基础上,针对Native-XML数据库,提出了基于模式语义块的XML页-记录存储方法。     

知识管理系统中的知识推送

首先为信息体建立元知识,构造出知识项;然后利用OML对规范化术语予以定义,并构造出概念网络,进而建立包含核心网络和同义网络的语义网络．以此为基础,并借助于用户视图中的元知识,通过构造匹配函数来确定推送对象,实现了知识的准确推送．     

Technical Briefing: Business Continuity Management

Abstract

This article discusses business continuity management as a risk management activity that extends well beyond the realm of IT Disaster Recovery Planning. It describes a rational, iterative process for assessing the risks, selecting appropriate risk treatments, and implementing various mitigating controls including resilience, recovery and contingency measures. While the IT Department undoubtedly has an important part to play in business continuity management, the article emphasizes that the process should be driven by senior managers since they are ultimately accountable for the organization's health and survival. As such, they have an obvious interest in balancing business risks against business opportunities.     

Variable Resolution Search with Quadrotors: Theory and Practice

This paper presents a variable resolution framework for autonomously searching stationary targets in a bounded area. Theoretical formulations are also described for using a probabilistic quadtree data structure, which incorporates imperfect Bayesian (false positive and false negative) detections and informs the searcher's route based on optimizing information gain. Live‐fly field experimentation results using a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle validate the proposed methodologies and demonstrate an integrated system with autonomous control and embedded object detection for probabilistic search in realistic operational settings. Lessons learned from these field trials include characterization of altitude‐dependent detection performance, and we also present a benchmark data set of outdoor aerial imagery for search and detection applications.     

It and Business Process Outsourcing: The Knowledge Potential

Despite the widespread trends in IT and business process outsourcing, there has been too little focus on what happens to knowledge when an organization outsources. We present a framework for evaluating the knowledge potential within five different types of insourcing and outsourcing arrangements. A detailed example of an enterprise partnership relationship is described as a benchmark for how companies can leverage the knowledge potential from IT and BPO outsourcing.
