The European Workshop on Industrial Computer System is composed of a group of practicing professional engineers, scientists and educators dedicated to the development of standards and guidelines for use with industrial computer systems. Their work is currently organised through ten technical committees. The Workshop collaborates with standards bodies in the setting up of standards and collaborates with a range of other bodies in order to organise conferences and workshops in order to promulgate both its work and the message that standards are essential if progress is to be made.  相似文献

This paper describes a support vector machine-based approach to different tasks related to sentiment analysis in Twitter for Spanish. We focus on parameter optimization of the models and the combination of several models by means of voting techniques. We evaluate the proposed approach in all the tasks that were defined in the five editions of the TASS workshop, between 2012 and 2016. TASS has become a framework for sentiment analysis tasks that are focused on the Spanish language. We describe our participation in this competition and the results achieved, and then we provide an analysis of and comparison with the best approaches of the teams who participated in all the tasks defined in the TASS workshops. To our knowledge, our results exceed those published to date in the sentiment analysis tasks of the TASS workshops.  相似文献

Recently, stereovision has appeared in robotics as a source of information for real-time mapping and path planning. In this paper, an intelligent motion system for mobile robots is designed and implemented using stereovision. The proposed system uses stereovision as a primary method for sensing the environment, and the system is able to navigate intelligently in an indoor environment with varying degrees of obstacle complexity. It creates noiseless and high-confidence 3D point clouds and uses these point clouds as an input for the mapping and path-planning modules. The proposed system was built by developing, enhancing, and integrating various techniques, modules and algorithms. The Stereovision-based Path-planning module is the integration of three main enhanced techniques: (1) the multi-baseline multi-view stereovision filter (MMSVF), (2) accurate floor detection and segmentation (AFDS), and (3) the intelligent gazing module (IGM). This Stereovision-based Path planning (MMSVF, IGM, and AFDS) was integrated with the Fuzzy Logic Motion Controller (FLMC). All techniques, modules and algorithms are implemented using a multi-threaded and client–server-based architecture. To prove the viability and robustness of our proposed system, we have integrated all components of the system into a fully functional mobile robot navigation system. We compared the performance of the main modules with that of similar modules in the literatures, and showed that our modules had better performance. Testing the whole system is more important than just testing each module individually. To the best of our knowledge, the literatures lack such testing. Hence, in this paper we present the performance of our complete integrated system in different environments using different parameters and different architectures.  相似文献

I(Hirose) was walking along a mountain path near Mt. Fuji on a summer day of 1976, when I found a daddy long-legs walking on the ground. I picked it up in my palm and allowed it to walk over my fingers, and the bug walked effortlessly even over finger-made obstacles ten times larger than its own body. While I was watching the motion of the bug, I started to have the desire to make bigger multilegged walking robots, which can walk over large buildings. This was the beginning of our study of walking robots, which was to last for more than 30 years.  相似文献

This paper provides a rationale for a class of mobile, casual, and educational games, which we call UbiqGames. The study is motivated by the desire to understand how students use educational games in light of additional distractions on their devices, and how game design can make those games appealing, educationally useful, and practical. In particular, we explain the choices made to build an engaging and educational first example of this line of games, namely Weatherlings. Further, we report results from a pilot study with 20 students that suggest that students are engaged by the game and are interested in learning more about academic content topics, specifically weather and climate, after playing the game. Research should continue to determine whether Weatherlings specifically does increase learning in these areas, and more generally to determine whether any learning gains and similar results with regard to engagement can be replicated in other content areas following the general model for game design.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a social network-based mechanism to be aware of user contexts and to provide contextually relevant mobile services to users. A social network among users is regarded as the channel for exchanging and propagating their contexts. To efficiently discover the contexts of a certain users the contexts of his neighbors can be fused to provide mobile recommendation service to mobile subscribers. However, since the social network of a user has been fragmented into more than one, it is difficult to put the number of contexts from the fragmented social networks together (Jung, 2009b). Thereby, we mobilize all possible on- and off-line social networks to build an ego-centric social network. We have implemented the proposed system, which is called u-conference system, by collecting the social network dataset from online (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, CyWorld, and co-authoring patterns in major Korean journals) and offline (e.g., co-participation patterns in a number of Korean domestic conferences). Once we have implemented the system, we have provided mobile services to the conference participants by sending text messages about time schedule of relevant presentations.  相似文献

The paper suggests a mathematical model of agents’ cooperation in dynamics, which employs agents’ utility functions and cognitive dissonance of their relations. The model is based on the theories of social psychologists investigating the behavior of people in small social groups and explaining the principles of their functioning and stability. We illustrate the suggested model via simulation of virtual soccer game of agents (robots). The performed simulation allows to model diverse aspects of agents’ cooperation and selfish behavior.  相似文献
