This research addresses the stability analysis and adaptive state‐feedback control for a class of nonlinear discrete‐time systems with multiple interval time‐varying delays and symmetry dead zone. The multiple interval time‐varying delays and symmetry dead zone are considered in the nonlinear discrete‐time system. The multiple interval time‐varying delays are bounded by the nonlinear function with unknown coefficients, and the symmetry dead zone is considered without the knowledge of the dead zone parameters. The adaptive state‐feedback controller is designed for the nonlinear discrete‐time systems with multiple interval time‐varying delays and dead zone. The discrete Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional is introduced, such that the solutions of the closed‐loop error system converge to an adjustable bounded region and the state errors can be rendered arbitrarily small by adjusting the adaptive parameters. The designed adaptive state‐feedback controller does not require the knowledge of maximum and minimum values for the characteristic slopes of the dead zone. Finally, three simulation examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive integral sliding mode control (ISMC) scheme is developed for a class of uncertain multi‐input and multi‐output nonlinear systems with unknown external disturbance, system uncertainty, and dead‐zone. The research is motivated by the fact that the ISMC scheme against unknown external disturbance and system uncertainty is very important for multi‐input and multi‐output nonlinear systems. The system uncertainty, the unknown external disturbance, and the effect of dead‐zone are integrated as a compounded disturbance, which is well estimated using a sliding mode disturbance observer (SMDO). Then, the adaptive ISMC based on the designed SMDO is presented to guarantee the satisfactory tracking performance in the presence of system uncertainty, external disturbance, and dead‐zone. Finally, the designed adaptive ISMC strategy based on SMDO is applied to the attitude control of the near space vehicle, and simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive ISMC scheme using the SMDO. In this paper, the problem of adaptive neural control is discussed for a class of strict‐feedback time‐varying delays nonlinear systems with full‐state constraints and unmodeled dynamics, as well as distributed time‐varying delays. The considered nonlinear system with full‐state constraints is transformed into a nonlinear system without state constraints by introducing a one‐to‐one asymmetric nonlinear mapping. Based on modified backstepping design and using radial basis function neural networks to approximate the unknown smooth nonlinear function and using a dynamic signal to handle dynamic uncertainties, a novel adaptive backstepping control is developed for the transformed system without state constraints. The uncertain terms produced by state time delays and distributed time delays are compensated for by constructing appropriate Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals. All signals in the closed‐loop system are proved to be semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive dynamic surface control approach is developed for a class of multi‐input multi‐output nonlinear systems with unknown nonlinearities, bounded time‐varying state delays, and in the presence of time‐varying actuator failures. The type of the considered actuator failure is that some unknown inputs may be stuck at some time‐varying values where the values, times, and patterns of the failures are unknown. The considered actuator failure can cover most failures that may occur in actuators of the systems. With the help of neural networks to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions and combining the dynamic surface control approach with the backstepping design method, a novel control approach is constructed. The proposed design method does not require a priori knowledge of the bounds of the unknown time delays and actuator failures. The boundedness of all the closed‐loop signals is guaranteed, and the tracking errors are proved to converge to a small neighborhood of the origin. The proposed approach is employed for a double inverted pendulums benchmark as well as a chemical reactor system. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method. The main purpose of this paper is to propose a direct and simple approach, called a self‐tuning design approach, to dealing with any nonsymmetric dead‐zone input nonlinearity where its information is completely unknown. In order to describe the approach, the output tracking problem is considered for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with any nonsymmetric dead‐zone input. First, a dead‐zone input is represented as a time‐varying input‐dependent function such that the considered dynamical system with dead‐zone input can be transfered into an uncertain nonlinear dynamical system subject to a linear input with time‐varying input coefficient. Then, by making use of the self‐tuning design approach, a class of adaptive robust output tracking control schemes with a rather simple structure is synthesized. Thus, the proposed direct and simple self‐tuning design approach can be easily understood by the engineering designers, and the resulting simple adaptive robust control schemes can be well implemented in most practical engineering control problems. By combining the proposed self‐tuning design approach with other control methods, one may expect to obtain a number of interesting results for a rather large class of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems with dead‐zone in the actuators. Finally, the simulations of some numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

An alternative adaptive control with prescribed performance is proposed to address the output tracking of nonlinear systems with a nonlinear dead zone input. An appropriate function that characterizes the convergence rate, maximum overshoot, and steady‐state error is adopted and incorporated into an output error transformation, and thus the stabilization of the transformed system is sufficient to achieve original tracking control with prescribed performance. The nonlinear dead zone is represented as a time‐varying system and Nussbaum‐type functions are utilized to deal with the unknown control gain dynamics. A novel high‐order neural network with a scalar adaptive weight is developed to approximate unknown nonlinearities, thus the computational costs can be diminished dramatically. Some restrictive assumptions on the system dynamics and the dead‐zone are circumvented. Simulations are included to validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. The adaptive robust output tracking control problem is considered for a class of uncertain nonlinear time‐delay systems with completely unknown dead‐zone inputs. A new design method is proposed so that some adaptive robust output tracking control schemes with a rather simple structure can be constructed. It is not necessary to know the nonlinear upper bound functions of uncertain nonlinearities. In fact, the constructed output tracking control schemes are structurally linear in the state and have a self‐tuning control gain function that is updated by an adaptation law. In this paper, the dead‐zone input is nonsymmetric, and its information is assumed to be completely unknown. In addition, a numerical example is given to describe the design procedure of the presented method, and the simulations of this numerical example are implemented to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results.  相似文献

The decentralized output feedback control problem is considered for a class of large‐scale systems with unknown time‐varying delays. The uncertain interconnections are bounded by general nonlinear functions with unknown coefficients. The control direction parameters are unknown for each subsystem, which brings a challenging issue for decentralized controller design. To deal with this problem, we propose a new decentralized control scheme with the help of Nussbaum function. The decentralized filter is designed at first. By constructing Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, we design the dynamic output feedback controller. It is rigorously proved that the closed‐loop system is asymptotically stable. Finally, the simulation is performed, and the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A decentralized prescribed performance adaptive tracking control problem is investigated for Markovian jump uncertain nonlinear interconnected large‐scale systems. The considered interconnected large‐scale systems contain unknown nonlinear uncertainties, unknown control gains, actuator saturation, and Markovian jump signals, and the Markovian jump subsystems are in the form of triangular structure. First, by defining a novel state transformation with the performance function, the prescribed performance control problem is transformed to stabilization problem. Then, introducing an intermediate control signal into the control design, employing neural network to approximate the unknown composite nonlinear function, and based on the framework of the backstepping control design and adaptive estimation method, a corresponding decentralized prescribed performance adaptive tracking controller is designed. It is proved that all the signals in the closed‐loop system are bounded, and the prescribed tracking performances are guaranteed. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive decentralized neural control problem is addressed for a class of pure‐feedback interconnected system with unknown time‐varying delays in outputs interconnections. By taking advantage of implicit function theorem and the mean‐value theorem, the difficulty from the pure‐feedback form is overcome. Under a wild assumption that the nonlinear interconnections are assumed to be bounded by unknown nonlinear functions with outputs, the difficulties from unknown interconnections are dealt with, by introducing continuous packaged functions and hyperbolic tangent functions, and the time‐varying delays in interconnections are compensated by Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. Radial basis function neural network is used to approximate the unknown nonlinearities. Dynamic surface control is successfully extended to eliminate ‘the explosion of complexity’ problem in backstepping procedure. To reduce the computational burden, minimal learning parameters technique is successfully incorporated into this novel control design. A delay‐independent decentralized control scheme is proposed. With the adaptive neural decentralized control, only one estimated parameter need to be updated online for each subsystem. Therefore, the controller is more simplified than the existing results. Also, semiglobal uniform ultimate boundedness of all of the signals in the closed‐loop system is guaranteed. Finally, simulation studies are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design scheme. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy backstepping dynamic surface control (DSC) approach is developed for a class of MIMO nonlinear systems with input delays and state time‐varying delays. The unknown continuous nonlinear functions are expressed as the linearly parameterized form by using the fuzzy logic systems, and then, by combining the backstepping technique, the appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, and the ‘minimal learning parameters’ algorithms with the DSC approach, the adaptive fuzzy tracking controller is designed. Our development is able to eliminate the problem of ‘explosion of complexity’ inherent in the existing backstepping‐based methods. It is proven that the proposed design method can guarantee that all the signals in the closed‐loop system are bounded and the tracking error is smaller than a prescribed error bound. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The control of systems that have sandwiched nonsmooth nonlinearities, such as a dead‐zone sandwiched between two dynamic blocks, is addressed. An adaptive inverse control scheme using a hybrid controller structure and a neural network based inverse compensator, is proposed for such systems with unknown sandwiched dead‐zone. This neural‐hybrid controller consists of an inner loop discrete‐time feedback structure incorporated with an adaptive inverse using a neural network for the unknown dead‐zone, and an outer‐loop continuous‐time feedback control law for achieving desired output tracking. The dead‐zone compensator consists of two neural networks, one used as an estimator of the sandwiched dead‐zone function and the other for the compensation itself. The compensator neural network has neurons that can approximate jump functions such as a dead‐zone inverse. The weights of the two neural networks are tuned using a modified gradient algorithm. Simulation results are given to illustrate the performance of the proposed neural‐hybrid controller. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper focuses on a finite‐time adaptive fuzzy control problem for nonstrict‐feedback nonlinear systems with actuator faults and prescribed performance. Compared with existing results, the finite‐time prescribed performance adaptive fuzzy output feedback control is under study for the first time. By designing performance function, the transient performance of the corresponding controlled variable is maintained in a prescribed area. Combining the finite‐time stability criterion with backstepping technique, a feasible adaptive fault‐tolerant control scheme is proposed to guarantee that the system output converges to a small neighborhood of the origin in finite time, and the closed‐loop signals are bounded. Finally, simulation results are shown to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented control method.  相似文献

This paper studies an adaptive fuzzy dynamic surface control for a class of nonlinear systems with fuzzy dead zone, unmodeled dynamics, dynamical disturbances, and unknown control gain functions. The unknown system functions are approximated by the Takagi‐Sugeno–type fuzzy logic systems. There are 3 main features for the presented systematic design scheme. First, by adopting an integrated method, a novel adaptive fuzzy controller is constructed for the nonlinear system with fuzzy dead zone. Second, only 3 online learning parameters need to be tuned, which significantly reduces the computation burden. Third, the possible controller singularity problem in some of the existing adaptive control methods with feedback linearization techniques can be avoided. On the basis of the backstepping technique and dynamic surface control, all the signals of the closed‐loop system are guaranteed to be semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded. Finally, 2 simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive neural output‐feedback control approach is considered for a class of uncertain multi‐input and multi‐output (MIMO) stochastic nonlinear systems with unknown control directions. Neural networks (NNs) are applied to approximate unknown nonlinearities, and K‐filter observer is designed to estimate unavailable system's states. Due to utilization of Nussbaum gain function technique in the proposed approach, the singularity problem and requirement to prior knowledge about signs of high‐frequency gains are removed, simultaneously. Razumikhin functional method is employed to deal with unknown state time‐varying delays, so that the offered control approach is free of common assumptions on derivative of time‐varying delays. Also, an adaptive neural dynamic surface control is developed; hence, explosion of complexity in conventional backstepping method is eliminated, effectively. The boundedness of all the resulting closed‐loop signals is guaranteed in probability; meanwhile, convergence of the tracking errors to adjustable compact set in the sense of mean quartic value is also proved. Finally, simulation results are shown to verify and clarify efficiency of the offered approach. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of adaptive neural tracking control for a class of nonlinear stochastic pure‐feedback systems with unknown dead zone. Based on the radial basis function neural networks' online approximation capability, a novel adaptive neural controller is presented via backstepping technique. It is shown that the proposed controller guarantees that all the signals of the closed‐loop system are semi‐globally, uniformly bounded in probability, and the tracking error converges to an arbitrarily small neighborhood around the origin in the sense of mean quartic value. Simulation results further illustrate the effectiveness of the suggested control scheme. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper focuses on consensus quantized control design problem for uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems with unmeasured states. Every follower can be denoted through a system with unmeasurable states, hysteretic quantized input, and unknown nonlinearities. Fuzzy state observer and Fuzzy logic systems are employed to estimate unmeasured states and approximate unknown nonlinear functions, respectively. The hysteretic quantized input can be split into two bounded nonlinear functions to avoid chattering problem. By combining adaptive backstepping and first‐order filter signals, an observer‐based fuzzy adaptive quantized control scheme is designed for each follower. All signals exist in closed‐loop systems are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded, and all followers can accomplish a desired consensus results. Finally, a numerical example is employed to elaborate the effectiveness of proposed control strategy.  相似文献

This article focuses on the decentralized adaptive fuzzy fixed-time fault-tolerant control issue for the error-constrained interconnected nonlinear systems with unknown actuator faults possessing dead zone. The unknown nonlinear functions can be modeled via fuzzy logic systems. By utilizing the parameter estimation method, the effect of unknown actuator faults possessing dead zone can be compensated. To guarantee the predefined dynamic performance of state tracking errors, the barrier Lyapunov functions and prescribed performance functions are introduced. Then, a dual-performance fault-tolerant control method that can guarantee fast transient performance and predefined performance of state tracking errors is proposed via using the decentralized backstepping technique. In addition, on the basis of the Lyapunov stability theory and the fixed-time criterion, it is proved that the predefined performance of full-state errors and the stability of closed-loop systems can be guaranteed. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of partial tracking errors constrained for high‐order nonlinear multi‐agent systems in strict‐feedback form. In the control design, radial‐based function neural networks are utilized to identify uncertain nonlinear functions, and a cooperative adaptive dynamic surface control is proposed to avoid the explosion of complexity in the backstepping technique. Based on the minimal learning parameter technique and the predefined performance approach, a novel cooperative adaptive neural network control method is developed. The proposed controller is able to guarantee that all the closed‐loop network signals are cooperative semi‐globally uniformly ultimately bounded, and partial tracking errors confine all times within the predefined bounds. Finally, simulation example and comparative example with previous methods are given to verify and clarify the effectiveness of the new design procedure. We propose an adaptive output‐feedback controller for a general class of nonlinear triangular (strict‐feedback‐like) systems. The design is based on our recent results on a new high‐gain control design approach utilizing a dual high‐gain observer and controller architecture with a dynamic scaling. The technique provides strong robustness properties and allows the system class to contain unknown functions dependent on all states and involving unknown parameters (with no magnitude bounds required). Unlike our earlier result on this problem where a time‐varying design of the high‐gain scaling parameter was utilized, the technique proposed here achieves an autonomous dynamic controller by introducing a novel design of the observer, the scaling parameter, and the adaptation parameter. This provides a time‐invariant dynamic output‐feedback globally asymptotically stabilizing solution for the benchmark open problem proposed in our earlier work with no magnitude bounds or sign information on the unknown parameter being necessary.
