In compound‐cast‐forging of hybrid aluminum parts the positive characteristics of casting and forging processes as well as the different materials are combined. This makes it possible to produce components with complex geometries and different local characteristics. Component areas with high complexity (e. g. with an undercut) are cast, areas that are exposed to high mechanical stresses, are forged. In the conducted investigations a preformed, massive formed semi‐finished part out of a wrought aluminum alloy was joined with a die‐cast aluminum alloy by casting and forming from the casting temperature in one cast‐forging process. The results of the studies show a good joining quality of cast‐forged components made of different aluminum alloys.  相似文献

Casting molds, produced by coating of prototypes A new method for the cost effective production of forming tools is introduced. These tools can be used for the production of prototypes and small series of products. The new method for the production of moulds and injection moulding tools consists of the following steps: ?coating of a positive model with a hard coating by physical vapour deposition (PVD)‐technologies ?deposition of a support coating, consisting of a metal coating, applied by an atmospheric plasma spraying technology ?embedding in a polymer removing of the positive model ?completion of the tool by adding the moulding equipment By using such a tool it is possible to produce more than 1000 parts of a polymer (enforced by glass fibre) or more than 1500 parts of a regular polymer.  相似文献

P/M Injection Moulding of Metallic Turbine Ports The well known injection moulding technique of ceramic components has been modified for the fabrication of metallic turbine parts. Commercially available super alloy powders, mainly Merl-76 and Udimet-700 were used. The following results have been obtained. Super alloy powder <45 µm can be used with PM injection moulding. After containerless HIP-treatment densities near 100% have been achieved. The tensile strength of the parts meet the requirements, when the surface roughness is reduced by mechanical treatment. The oxygen and carbon content in the finally produced parts is relatively high. But the distribution of the non-metallic inclusions is fine and uniform. So high strength values could be obtained.  相似文献

Recent Development in the Field of Welding Technique. Because of important advantages as soundness of gap, no overlapping and possibility of mechanization the welding procedure takes a considerable plave in the wide field of joint techniques. Often the mechanical properties of the weld metal exceed the values of the base metal. The following report describes recent welding techniques: welding with cored-wire electrodes, the narrow-gap-welding and electron-beam welding at atmosphere. A large number of specimens has been created and investigated for fatigue tests and the numerical simulation of porosity formation in castings. The specimens are made out of the alloy AlSi7Mg0.3, the porosity has been characterized by means of computer tomography. The obtained results are put into relation with production conditions, with emphasis on melt hydrogen content. Form and amount of porosity is investigated in conjunction with melt hydrogen content and the transition between solidification and gas porosity is documented. The evolution of pores of different size is scrutinized in detail.  相似文献

Using examples from the adhesive bonding and ultrasonic welding technique shows how various methods of vacuum‐assisted analysis can contribute to explain joining mechanisms and derive optimization potentials for strength and durability of composites. Employing Time‐of‐Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (ToF‐SIMS) to characterize epoxy‐adhesives, locally resolved and quantitative structural informa‐tions can be achieved. Multivariate data analysis methods prove to be very helpful here. Analytical investigations with high spatial resolution at the interface of ultrasonic welded aluminium joints provide structural and chemical data and allow the characterization of the bonding zone in detail. Thus the physical and chemical processes occurred during the welding process can be reconstruct. The increase of strength and longterm durability of ultrasonic‐ or induction welded hybrid joints (aluminium and carbon‐fibre reinforced thermoplastics) can be attributed to micromechanical interlocking of the CF‐matrixpolymer with Al‐oxide‐layer.  相似文献

Welding Engineering in Chemical Systems Construction – Examples for Selection and Welding Processing of Materials as to Their Operational Verification Welding manufacturing occupies undoubtedly a key position in the construction of chemical apparatus and systems. It is possible to application-specifically select out of a variety of structural materials and welding fillers. Corrosion resistance, thermal and mechanical characteristics, especially any differences in the time-history of loading are the crucial criteria. In addition, the effects of welding on the material properties must be considered. Below examples will be given as to material criteria concerning specifications and selection, but primarily with respect to the corrodibility of stainless CrNi(Mo) steels and the appropriate welding fillers.  相似文献

The present study analyzes the mechanisms and facilitators behind joint learning in R&D collaborations by way of a qualitative comparative case study analyzing three supplier relationships and three internal R&D partnerships of the focal organization. The results suggest a single joint learning process for internal and external relationships in which the role of the customer and the facilitation of the joint learning process vary depending on the context. Whereas the role of motivation is central for joint learning in the internal relationships, mutual trust is important to the external relationships.  相似文献

This article illustrates the solid building envelope both as an integral system and in terms of its potential for additive manufacturing. The Façade Research Group at the TU Delft works on the building envelope, investigating strategic and process support for development and planning processes and renovation technologies, as well as functionally integrated building envelopes.
