In this letter, the global asymptotical stability analysis problem is considered for a class of Markovian jumping stochastic Cohen-Grossberg neural networks (CGNNs) with mixed delays including discrete delays and distributed delays. An alternative delay-dependent stability analysis result is established based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, which can easily be checked by utilizing the numerically efficient Matlab LMI toolbox. Neither system transformation nor free-weight matrix via Newton-Leibniz formula is required. Two numerical examples are included to show the effectiveness of the result.  相似文献

In this paper, the Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model representation is extended to the stability analysis for uncertain Cohen–Grossberg type bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying delays using linear matrix inequality (LMI) theory. A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using LMI optimization algorithms to guarantee the asymptotic stability of uncertain Cohen–Grossberg BAM neural networks with time varying delays which are represented by TS fuzzy models. Finally, the proposed stability conditions are demonstrated with numerical examples.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a decentralized stabilization problem of uncertain multi-agent systems with mixed delays including discrete and distributed time-varying delays based on passivity stability. We design a decentralized state-feedback stabilization scheme such that the family of closed-loop feedback subsystems enjoys the delay-dependent passivity stability for each subsystem. Then, by employing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to establish the delay-dependent criteria for the passivity stability of multi-agent systems. The sufficient condition is given for checking the passivity stability. The proposed LMI result is computationally efficient. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

This paper deals with the global exponential stability in Lagrange sense for quaternion-valued neural networks (QVNNs) with leakage delay, discrete time-varying delays and distributed delays. By structuring an advisable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional in quaternion field, and adopting free-weighting-matrix method and inequality technique, a sufficient condition in quaternion-valued linear matrix inequality (LMI) to guarantee the global exponential stability in Lagrange sense is acquired, and the domain of attraction is estimated. A numerical example with simulations is supplied to confirm the availability and feasibility of the raised result.  相似文献

Time‐delay systems described by coupled differential‐functional equations include as special cases many types of time‐delay systems and coupled differential‐difference systems with time delays. This article discusses the discretized Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) method for the stability problem of coupled differential‐difference equations with multiple discrete and distributed delays. Through independently dividing every delay region that the plane regions consists in two delays to discretize LKF, the exponential stability conditions for coupled systems with multiple discrete and distributed delays are established based on a linear matrix inequality (LMI). The numerical examples show that the analysis limit of delay bound in which the systems are stable may be approached by our result. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This article concerns the stability analysis and design for uncertain stochastic systems with time-varying delays in state and actuator saturation. The parameter uncertainties belong to a convex polytopic set, and the delays are time varying. A sufficient condition is obtained in terms of a priori designed feedback matrix for determining if a given set is in inside the domain of attraction. Using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, an estimate of the domain of attraction is presented. The problem of designing a state feedback controller such that the domain of attraction is enlarged is formulated through solving an optimisation problem with LMI constraints. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

Analysis for Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with multiple delays   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The stability analysis of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with multiple delays is given. An approach combining the Lyapunov functional with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) is taken to obtain the sufficient conditions for the globally asymptotic stability of equilibrium point. By using the properties of matrix norm, a practical corollary is derived. All results are established without assuming the differentiability and monotonicity of activation functions. The simulation samples have proved the effectiveness of the conclusions.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the robust exponential stability for stochastic reaction-diffusion uncertain fuzzy neural networks with mixed delays and Markovian jump parameters. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional and utilizing some inequality techniques, we obtain sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of the equilibrium solution. The obtained stability criteria can be easily checked by linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques. Finally numerical examples are provided to illustrate the obtained theoretical result.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of interval bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with mixed delays under uncertainty are introduced and studied, which include many well-known neural networks as special cases. The mixed delays mean the simultaneous presence of both the discrete delay, and the distributive delay. Furthermore, the parameter of matrix is taken values in a interval and controlled by a unknown, but bounded function. By using a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii function with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, we obtain a sufficient condition to ensure the global robust exponential stability for the interval BAM neural networks with mixed delays under uncertainty, which is more generalized and less conservative, restrictive than previous results. In the last section, the validity of our stability result is demonstrated by a numerical example.  相似文献

Fuzzy control problems for systems with bounded uncertain delays were studied.Based on Lyapunov stability theory and matrix theory,a nonlinear state feedback fuzzy controller was designed by linear matrix inequalities (LMI) approach, and the global exponential stability of the closed-loop system was strictly proved. For a fuzzy control system with bounded uncertain delays, under the global exponential stability condition which is reduced to p linear matrix inequalities, the controller guarantees stability performances of state variables. Finally, the simulation shows the validity of the method in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, the delay-interval-dependent robust stability is studied for a class of neutral stochastic neural networks with time-varying delays. The time-varying delay is assumed to belong to an interval, which means that the upper bound is known and the lower bound is not restricted to zero. For the neural networks under study, the uncertainty includes polytopic uncertainty and linear fractional norm-bounded uncertainty. Sufficient conditions for the stability of the addressed neutral stochastic neural networks with time-varying delays are established by employing the proper Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a combination of the stochastic analysis theory, some inequality techniques and new linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, three numerical examples are provided to demonstrate less conservatism and effectiveness of the proposed LMI conditions.  相似文献

This paper proposes the design of anti-windup compensator gain for improving stability of actuator input constrained linear multiple state delays systems. The system state delays are classified into mixed delay-dependent/delay-independent analysis and described by delay-differential equations. The real scalar delays are assumed to be fixed and unknown, but with known coefficient matrices. It is shown that the closed-loop system containing the controller plus the anti-windup gain can be modeled as a linear system with dead-zone nonlinearity. The formulation of anti-windup compensator gain is based on convex optimization using linear matrix inequalities (LMI) that ensure closed-loop asymptotic stability of the system while accounting upper-bound delays. The devised LMIs based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals prove significantly less conservative in giving higher upper bounds delays in the formulation of anti-windup gain besides ensuring closed-loop asymptotic stability.  相似文献

In this correspondence paper, an equivalent stability criterion with minimal number of linear matrix inequality (LMI) variables is presented for a delay-dependent stability criterion reported recently in the International Journal of Automation and Computing for a class of linear discrete-time systems with additive time delays. The reported stability criterion for the additive timedelay systems has more number of matrix variables in the LMI and, hence, demand additional computational burden. The proposed equivalent stability criterion, unlike the reported one, does not involve free-weighing matrices and encompass only the matrix variables that are associated in the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, making the criterion mathematically less complex and computationally more effective.  相似文献

Congestion in computer networks is one of the main reasons for degraded performance and poor quality of service and a good congestion control algorithm is thus essential in computer networks. A fundamental and required property of any control system is its stability. In this paper, we investigate the problem of asymptotic stability in the second-order congestion control system with heterogeneous communication delays. A new approach to stability analysis of the second-order congestion control algorithms is proposed, where the free weighting matrix technique is used and the knowledge of the delay interval is also utilized. Several linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based delay-range-dependent stability criteria are proposed. Simulation results show that the stability criteria proposed in this paper are much less conservative than the existing ones in the sense that the larger range of communication delays can be accommodated.  相似文献
