An experimental study on the beveling of quartz crystal blanks is presented in this paper. Two issues in the beveling are addressed: beveling time and the shape of bevel. The time needed for beveling is determined by material removal rate. The concept of critical gap height is introduced to evaluate the bevel profile. In addition, a side effect, frequency shift is also studied. Seven potential relevant process factors: blank quantity, powder/blank ratio, powder type, machine rpm, powder changing time, barrel diameter and powder heating were identified. The influences of these process factors on material removal rate, critical gap height and frequency shift were studied using Design of Experiments (DOE). It is shown from the results that (1) machine rpm has the most significant effect on material removal rate, followed by barrel diameter. Material removal rate increases with machine rpm and barrel diameter; (2) steeper bevel profiles can be achieved by using barrels of smaller diameter and finer powders; and (3) machine rpm has the most significant effect on the frequency shift, followed by barrel diameter and powder type. The frequency shift increases with the machine rpm and barrel diameter. Using finer powders can reduce the frequency shift. 相似文献

基于鱼类体线感知机理的水下机器人水流场识别研究 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
无人水下航行器(Unmanned undersea vehicle,UUV)是水下作业探测中一种应用广泛的工具,它能否很好地适应水下环境对其远距离正常工作有着重要影响。与水下鱼类对比,机器人与水下环境间的交互能力相去较远,其中尤以水下机器人对海洋环境的水流特征识别最为重要。传统UUV在水下的控制运行必须消耗大量能量维持状态与运行,这种被动应对环境的方式具有很大的不足,也对无线遥控水下机器人的生存造成障碍。因此,水下机器人能否正确感知水流是其能否进一步探索利用海洋的重要因素。研究发现,鱼类的侧线系统可感知水流,并辅助运动规划。研究鱼类侧线感知水流的机理,针对鱼雷型UUV的不同水流环境,使用计算流体动力学方法提取本体压力数据,选择线性判别分析与支持向量机技术训练并建立水流感知分类模型,从功能角度仿生侧线感应水流能力。模型测试表明,不同的水流工况下UUV识别到不同模式,可进行本体周围水况区分度辨识,为水下机器人识别水流环境与利用海洋提供一种新的视度。 相似文献

The design of a PKM (parallel kinematic mechanism) machine usually concentrates on a kinematic analysis but its dynamic control
behaviour is not paid equal attention, so there is a need to model a PKM machine dynamically. This paper presents a connection
method for dynamic modeling of a PKM machine by introducing active and passive matrices. Using computer algebra, this method
makes the dynamic modeling processes available, even though the kinematic constraint Eq. cannot be solved as analytical solutions.
The modeling is used succesfully for a planar PKM machine, called PAMELA (parallel mechanism with linear actuators). Using
dynamic modeling and simulation, we can anticipate the dynamic behaviour of the PAMELA machine and develop a suitable algorithm
for the motion control. This enables a better dynamic configuration of the PAMELA machine to be obtained. As a consequence,
it speeds up the design process and reduces the development cost before a physical machine is built.

Based on an analysis of mechanism combination methods of a current mechanism system kinematic scheme, input/output kinematic
behavior and their constraint relations were proposed to represent the kinematic behavior knowledge of a mechanism system.
Furthermore, a tree structure of a kinematic behavior decomposition process for a mechanism system was provided. Considering
multiple outputs for a mechanism system, the matching algorithm and the attributes propagation method of kinematic behavior
were used to generate a mechanism combination scheme. Its intermediate design solution and the constraint relations between
input and output are generated to fill the common blackboard. Moreover, using information in the blackboard as input motion,
the behavior attributes of other process actions are transmitted to attribute items of the blackboard, which finally enables
a computer-aided automatic design process of a mechanism system kinematic scheme. To avoid the problem of schemes combination
explosion caused by unbounded depth in the search process, bounded depth-first search was used to control the number of expanded
hierarchies for a design tree. Finally, an example was given to show its feasibility and solution efficiency.
