A method to extrapolate the p,v, T relationships for compressed gases at elevated temperatures

A new extrapolation is proposed, based on the behavior of the (z-1) v isotherms in a , T diagram. We have derived refined tables for the compressibility factor of argon and krypton by this method for pressures up to 200–700 bar at temperatures as high as 650–800°C.Translated from Inzhenerno-Fizicheskii Zhurnal, Vol.16, No.2, pp.320–325, February, 1969.
