人才培养模式构建涉及高校体制、机制、制度、环境等各种相关要素,是一项系统工程,对于高校整体改革和发展具有巨大的推动作用。从中国高等教育发展的基本情况入手,在分析工程应用型本科发展背景及前景基础上,针对人才培养模式存在缺乏统一认识、教学体系不完善、教学支撑体系薄弱、保障机制不健全等问题,提出了人才培养模式的优化对策,即凝聚思想、统一认识、完善教学体系、改善软硬件环境、深入校企合作以及完善人才培养保障机制等。  相似文献

A discourse originating at liberal arts colleges has begun to influence national policy for science, mathematics, engineering, and technology education. The discovery-oriented, research-rich curriculum traditional for the graduate student is being developed for wider implementation in the service of new national goals. Though largely absent as a participant, the discipline of psychology has a great deal to contribute to and gain from joining in this agenda. The content of our field has many direct applications to the issues under consideration. We have common interests as a scientific field in developing science education. And, interdisciplinary and interinstitutional cooperation would be invigorating and constructive for our science, for our scholarship, and for our students. Psychologists should be proactive, not passive or reactive, in the improvement of undergraduate science education. 黑龙江工程学院是一所新建工科院校,是世纪之交一批由高工专升本的教学型工科院校之一.这批工科院校的产生是在我国经济快速发展、高等教育进入大众化阶段的社会历史背景下,高等工程教育新的结构调整和分工.可以说,这一类型的工科院校不应是原来专科的简单放大和拓展,也不应盲目攀高进行脱胎换骨的改造,更不能亦步亦趋地模仿跟踪现有本科院校模式,其新的职能和定位是应用型工程本科教育.如何开展应用型工程教育,这是新建工科院校一直努力探讨和实践的课题.本文结合黑龙江工程学院的办学实践,对应用型工程教育问题作一点粗浅的探讨.  相似文献

This is a report of 3 Chinese children with intestinal lymphangiectasia in Malaysia. Two children responded to a low fat diet and medium-chain triglyceride supplement. The third child has recurrent chylous ascites. None of the children has recurrent infections despite low CD4+ cells and low levels of IgG and IgA. Intestinal lymphangiectasia is a rare congenital disorder of the mesenteric lymphatic that leads to the obstruction of the lymphatics of the intestine and protein losing enteropathy. Restriction of dietary fat intake will usually result in remission. Recurrent chylous ascites is a problem and management can be difficult.  相似文献

Mentoring is a positive method for promoting professional development; however, there is little information in the literature addressing the use of mentoring with baccalaureate nursing students. Because professional socialization is a critical component of baccalaureate nursing education, mentoring would be an optimal methodology. The authors describe how a mentorship program combined with a professional role development course was integrated into a BSN nursing program. The education of physicians both at the undergraduate and graduate level is no longer a matter for an individual professor or department in a medical faculty. The curriculum has to be developed and carried out according to the needs of the society in which the physician is going to function. Evaluation of the educational programme by external reviewers should therefore be seen as a normal part of the quality control process of all medical faculties. The most important part of such an evaluation is the self-assessment performed by the faculty and the students; self-assessment, together with advice from the external reviewers, will constitute the basis for necessary curriculum changes.  相似文献

Technology assessment is research that is intended to help decisionmakers deal with the development, acquisition and utilisation of healthcare technologies. Healthcare professionals now recognise the need for assessment information in decisionmaking. Among these professionals are biomedical and clinical engineers who need to manage technology assessment activities and use assessment information appropriately. It is imperative therefore that proper educational programmes be developed to prepare engineers for a broader role in healthcare. An analysis of the contribution made by house officers in fulfilling the objectives for a comprehensive clerkship experience was undertaken by questioning members of the 1975 medical class. The objectives examined over a broad spectrum of surgical disease and are applicable to any general surgical clerkship. In addition, the instruction received in technical skills was analyzed and deficiencies were noted. Major subject areas related to surgical disease were examined for adequacy of house staff instruction, and an estimation of hours per week devoted to the clerkship experience by house and staff was derived. The university-private hospital training program at this institution permitted a comparison of instruction between these clerkship settings. Some deficiencies did appear in intellectual and technical instruction in both clerkship environments. These deficiencies, however, usually were related to a paucity of patient material and to the lack of opportunity for clinical instruction which ensues from these cases. With few exceptions, the house staff provided nearly one third of the knowledge base acquired during the junior medical student experience. The results indicate that very little difference exists between the didactic role of the house officer in either the university or community hospital environment.  相似文献
