We design and implement a personalized target advertisement (PTA) system in IPTV using ontology-based semantic relations between IPTV program and advertisement. In the PTA system, we focus on the development of an ontology reasoning technique of improving advertisement recommendation ability and exploiting efficient information reuse. For this purpose, we first build the IPTV program ontology and viewer profiling ontology based on the IPTV program and viewers’ content consumption behavior, using OWL (Web Ontology Language) standardized by W3C. We then classify each viewer into his/her corresponding reference group using a similarity metric. After that, we define the semantic relations between advertisement and shopping products consumed by the prototype through shopping sites in IPTV. Based on these semantic relations, we infer the preferred advertisements for each viewer through our reasoning process. In the experimental section, we demonstrate a prototype of our system and the algorithm of the PTA system using various cases. 相似文献

Clothing computer design systems include three integrated parts: garment pattern design in 2D/3D, virtual try-on and realistic clothing simulation. Some important results have been obtained in pattern design and clothing simulation since the 1980s. However, in the area of virtual try-on, only limited methods have been proposed which are applicable to some defined garment styles or under restrictive sewing assumptions. This paper presents a series of new techniques from virtually sewing up complex garment patterns on human models to visualizing design effects through physical-based real-time simulation. We first employ an hierarchy of ellipsoids to approximate human models in which the bounding ellipsoids are optimized recursively. We also present a new scheme for including contact friction and resolving collisions. Four types of user interactive operation are introduced to manipulate cloth patterns for pre-positioning, virtual sewing and later obtaining cloth simulation. In the cloth simulation, we propose a simplified cloth dynamic model and an integration scheme to realize a high quality real-time cloth simulation. Traditional display systems usually display 3D objects on static screens (monitor, wall, etc.) and the manipulation of virtual objects by the viewer is usually achieved via indirect tools such as keyboard or mouse. It would be more natural and direct if we display the object onto a handheld surface and manipulate it with our hands as if we were holding the real 3D object. In this paper, we propose a prototype system by projecting the object onto a handheld foam sphere. The aim is to develop an interactive 3D object manipulation and exhibition tool without the viewer having to wear spectacles. In our system, the viewer holds the sphere with his hands and moves it freely. Meanwhile we project well-tailored images onto the sphere to follow its motion, giving the viewer a virtual perception as if the object were sitting inside the sphere and being moved by the viewer. The design goal is to develop a low-cost, real-time, and interactive 3D display tool. An off-the-shelf projector-camera pair is first calibrated via a simple but efficient algorithm. Vision-based methods are proposed to detect the sphere and track its subsequent motion. The projection image is generated based on the projective geometry among the projector, sphere, camera and the viewer. We describe how to allocate the view spot and warp the projection image. Modular fixture configuration design is a complicated task requiring strong professional background and practical experience. However, automated or semi-automated computer aided modular fixture systems based on CAD packages still are not well accepted by the manufacturing industry due to the lack of intuitive interaction and immediate feedback compared with traditional models such as paper and physical models. In this paper, a novel Virtual Reality-based system for interactive modular fixture configuration design is presented. We use a multi-view based modular fixture assembly model to assist information representation and management. In addition, the suggested strategy is compatible with the principles of virtual environment and it is easy to reutilize the element model. Based on geometric constraints, we propose a precise 3D manipulation approach to improve intuitive interaction and accurate 3D positioning of fixture components in virtual space. This paper presents an overview of an interactive system for the design of a distributed computer system. The system helps the designer in finding the optimal combination of processors of varying power to be located at various nodes of the system. It also helps in finding the optimal allocation of data files or databases. The system allows the designer to trade-off between the conflicting objectives: low investment and operating cost and high availability of data. Reasonable relative weights are assigned to each data file, and design objectives can be assigned priorities. A value added network such as TELENET is assumed for data communication. We describe a computer graphics system for the display of meteorological fields (such as plots of temperature and pressure). Much of the design effort has gone into the command processor which uses the usual command format of VERB PARAMETER = VALUE … The parameter and values are defined in terms of a tree sructure and the program searches as much of the tree as is necessary to make an unambiguous indentification of a token (where such an identification is possible). Because of this, commands can generally be abbreviated to the format VERB VALUE. This shortened form is possible even when the value of the command parameter is numerical. This is achieved by always specifying the units of numerical values (such as 5 days, 24 hours, 1000 millibars, etc.). The command format allows the user to manipulate a number of fields to form derived fields such as the difference of two pressure forecasts. The use of defaults for all parameters (which change as the user requests plots), reduces the amount of typing required to a minimum. A ‘Help’ facility aids the user in his choice of commands. 相似文献

This paper is about a software system, GRASS-Graphic Software System for 2-D drawing and design—which has been implemented on a system with RSX-11M operating system. It is a low cost interactive graphics system for the design of two dimensional drawings and uses a minimum of hardware. It provides comprehensive facilities for creating, editing, storing and retrieving pictures. It has been implemented in the language Pascal and has the potential to be used as a powerful data-imputting tool for a design-automation system. A new interactive command language was developed to implement integrated computer-aided design in computer control applications. It is intended to operate at the supervisory level in a real-time hierarchical system.The integrated approach is based on convolution algebra and provides a unified conceptual framework for studying the behaviour of practical systems in the time domain. Consequently, as an alternative to choosing fixed system structures and design procedures, the user may evaluate experimental procedures suggested by the underlying theory.The language has been implemented on a minicomputer at Bradford University and applied to industrial control problems. When designing a deductive database, the designer has to decide for each predicate (or relation) whether it should be defined extensionally or intensionally and what the definition should look like. An intelligent interactive system is presented to assist the designer in this task. It starts from an example state ofa database in which all predicates are defined extensionally. It can then compact the database by transforming extensionally defined predicates into intensionally defined ones. These predicates can be chosen by the user or by the system itself. Further compaction is possible by inventing new predicates; this invention is controlled by user-specified templates. The systemalso proposes semantic integrity constraints to the user. These do not lead to extra compaction but can be used to make the database more robust. The intelligent system employs techniques from the area of inductive logic programming. 相似文献

目的 传统虚拟健身系统存在着沉浸性、可玩性方面的问题,并且缺少对用户的健身指导。提出一种能够改善健身娱乐性、有效性和指导能力的3维虚拟健身系统设计方法。方法 以自然交互界面、个性化深度定制策略和互反馈控制模型理论为基础,加强人与计算机之间的自然语义转换,增加用户对系统的设计控制能力,实时感知用户身体情况并引导用户进行科学健身。另外,依据此框架实现了一套采用健身自行车、Kinect体感摄像头、心率传感器等设备的健身系统。结果 本文提出了一种新的健身系统设计方法,并进行了实现。通过问卷调查,大部分测试者对本文所实现的系统总体评价比较满意并较认可系统新颖性。系统实验结果显示,本文健身系统设计方法对于改善个人健身的娱乐性和有效性有着良好的效果,并具有良好的通用性。结论 通过对测试者的反馈统计表明,系统在交互性和指导能力方面表现出色。 相似文献

Traditional CAD (Computer-Aided Design) methods in garment pattern design (GPD) fail to utilize the knowledge of experts for inexperienced designers. Moreover, the interactive and co-evolutionary features are not supported. We propose an interactive co-evolutionary CAD system for GPD (ICE-GCAD). The functionality model, modular architecture and data flow of the system are proposed. Then, the interactive co-evolutionary system whose core module is an immune-inspired co-evolutionary algorithm is studied. Finally, the flow of co-design in the system is proposed. As a case demonstration, we study a design sample of a leisure shirt. The experimental studies show that our approach has promising performance and appealing effects. We believe ICE-GCAD is applicable to support the collaboration among garment designers and experts. 相似文献

Virtual environments have become a key component of many fields and the critical component of virtual reality applications. Due to their virtual nature, they can accommodate an infinite number of possibilities. A theoretical work is presented, which decomposes those innumerous possibilities into concepts to help clarify the vast design space and provide insights into future applied research. We propose that what makes environments interesting and engaging is having worlds that are both active and reactive. This article explores the manifestations of those actions and reactions in what we term: dynamic components and interactions. We term worlds containing these dynamic interactive virtual environments (DIVE). An analysis of each component time was performed, with the purpose of providing a theoretical understanding of the respective design spaces. Initially, we collected the myriad possibilities of each component, e.g., the possible kinds of interactions. We point to examples throughout the field to ground and explain concepts presented. We then categorized of each area into taxonomies. The result of the analyses provides insights into the design space of virtual environments, exposes several avenues of research that are yet underexplored, and provides better understandings of ways in which DIVE creation can be supported. 相似文献

We present a prototype medical data visualization system exploiting a light field display and custom direct volume rendering
techniques to enhance understanding of massive volumetric data, such as CT, MRI, and PET scans. The system can be integrated
with standard medical image archives and extends the capabilities of current radiology workstations by supporting real-time
rendering of volumes of potentially unlimited size on light field displays generating dynamic observer-independent light fields.
The system allows multiple untracked naked-eye users in a sufficiently large interaction area to coherently perceive rendered
volumes as real objects, with stereo and motion parallax cues. In this way, an effective collaborative analysis of volumetric
data can be achieved. Evaluation tests demonstrate the usefulness of the generated depth cues and the improved performance
in understanding complex spatial structures with respect to standard techniques.

Virtual garment design and simulation involves a combination of a large range of techniques, involving mechanical simulation, collision detection, and user interface techniques for creating garments. Here, we perform an extensive review of the evolution of these techniques made in the last decade to bring virtual garments to the reach of computer applications not only aimed at graphics, but also at CAD techniques for the garment industry.As a result of the advances in the developments of virtual garment simulation technologies, we then detail a framework which fits the needs of the garment industry of virtual garment design and prototyping, concentrating on interactive design, simulation and visualization features. 针对已有服装推荐算法中服装色调与用户颜色特征不协调的问题,将服装搭配的四季色彩理论与计算机视觉领域的推荐方法相结合,提出一种面向个性化服装推荐的判断优化模型。提出四季色彩判断模型,对根据输入的人脸图像提取得到的用户颜色特征集进行分类;建立优化处理模型,根据四季色彩判断模型结果和用户所需风格进行优化处理并获得服装预推荐结果;通过用户评分及反馈机制,提高优化结果,得到最终推荐结果。实验表明,该方法能实现与用户颜色特征相协调的个性化的服装推荐,并且在实际应用中具有较高的准确率。 相似文献
