Despite the growing interest in green products in the interior wall decorative material market, knowledge gaps exist because determining which product is more environmental and user friendly than the others is difficult. This work assesses the environmental and human health profiles of interior latex and wallpaper. Two interior latex products of different raw material ratios and one non-woven wallpaper product are considered. The environmental impact assessment follows life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology and applies Building Environmental Performance Analysis System (BEPAS). The human health impact is based on impact-pathway chain and is performed using Building Health Impact Analysis System (BHIAS). The assessment scope, associated emissions, and territorial scope of various emissions are defined to facilitate comparison study of interior wall decorative products. The impacts are classified into 15 categories belonging to three safeguard areas: ecological environment, natural resources, and human health. The impacts of categories are calculated and monetized using willingness to pay (WTP) and disability-adjusted life year (DALY) and summarized as an integrated external cost of environmental and human health impacts. Assessment results reveal that the integrated impact of interior latex is lower than that of non-woven wallpaper, and the interior latex of low quality causes low life cycle integrated impact. The most impacted categories are global warming, respiratory effects, and water consumption. Hotspots of product manufacturing are recognized to promote green product design. 相似文献

This research aims at evaluating the main risks for the durability of concrete made of industrially produced recycled aggregates called Recycled Aggregate Concrete (RAC). A characterisation of recycled aggregates is performed and their peculiarities are highlighted. A comparison between the behaviour of RAC and that of ordinary natural aggregate concrete is carried out. The influence of both the composition and the curing conditions is discussed. The durability study is focused on the assessment of parameters representing the porous structure and concrete characteristics. Because of the high total water/cement ratio of RAC, their flow properties control their durability. It is established that RAC are characterised by significantly higher water absorption and air permeability. The diffusion of the carbon dioxide is faster, too. That leads to a weaker resistance of RAC to environmental attacks. Since the main durability problems are caused by the fine recycled fraction, its use needs to be restricted. Another way to increase RAC durability seems to be the extended curing in wet environment. 相似文献

目的为了达到保护产品的目的,探讨壁挂式空调外机产品包装用环保材料及创新结构设计。方法通过对产品进行包装测试,验证环保材料对产品的保护功能。通过运输、跌落、脚踩、堆码等产品包装测试试验,验证环保包装的选材及优化结构设计的可靠性。结果绿色产品包装的结构设计具有节约能源、资源,包装材料用量少,能循环回收利用,避免或减少废弃物产生,减少对环境产生的污染等特点。结论壁挂式空调可采用蜂窝材料、EVA材料、纸护角材料,以及瓦楞纸材料设计的创新结构,不仅适用于全自动化生产工艺流程作业,而且能更好地保护产品。 相似文献

The heat production and thermal storage characteristics of rapid-preparation amorphous powder activated coke (RAC) were investigated. RAC was prepared by using a drop-tube reactor system. The natural oxidation characteristics of RAC were studied through combined TG–FTIR analysis and temperature-programmed experiment. Experimental results showed that CO and CO2 were the main oxidation products of RAC in air, and that the oxidation reaction was in accordance with the Arrhenius equation and law of mass action. Thermal storage characteristics were studied through computational fluid dynamics simulation. The maximum excess temperature θmax increases linearly with the increase of the initial temperature. The concentration fields of the products show that CO2 is mainly concentrated in the upper part of the coke bin, and the CO generated by CO2 at high temperature is mainly concentrated in the central part of the coke bin. 相似文献
