In this paper, the electromechanical coupled force between flexible ring and stator of the drive system is presented. The radial displacement of the flexible ring subjected to electric field force is obtained. A critical voltage is found beyond which the flexible ring and the stator will make contact. Considering the ring contacting with the stator as a curved beam fixed at ends, an electromechanical coupled dynamic equation of the drive system is developed. From the equation, the natural frequencies and vibrating modes of the drive system are given. The periodic variable voltage is expressed as disturbance on natural frequency of the drive system and the forced response of the drive system to voltage excitation is investigated. Using Laplace transformation, the forced frequency response of the drive system to voltage excitation is obtained as well. Changes of the forced frequency response along with drive parameters are discussed. Influences of the linear excitation caused by changing boundary angle on the system vibrations are also investigated. The response frequencies are dependent on exciting frequency and natural one. As the exciting frequency is close to the natural frequency of the drive system, the resonance occurs. The flexible ring radius, clearance between the ring and stator, etc. has obvious influences on the frequency responses of the drive system.  相似文献

AC voltage controllers are used as induction motor starters in fan or pump drives and the crane hoist drives. This paper presents a method of identifying the end of soft start of an AC voltage controller-fed induction motor (IM) drive based on the voltage across the nonconducting thyristor through a dynamic simulation of the whole drive system. A two point current minimization technique is adopted to operate the drive system at the required optimal voltage under all operating conditions. This minimizes the motor losses. Graphic modeling of the whole drive system is done in a modular format using Design Star and dynamic simulation is done using SABER. The dynamic simulation results of the whole drive system are supported with experimental data  相似文献

In this paper, a novel neural network (NN) backstepping controller is modified for application to an industrial motor drive system. A control system structure and NN tuning algorithms are presented that are shown to guarantee stability and performance of the closed-loop system. The NN backstepping controller is implemented on an actual motor drive system using a two-PC control system developed at The University of Texas at Arlington. The implementation results show that the NN backstepping controller is highly effective in controlling the industrial motor drive system. It is also shown that the NN controller gives better results on actual systems than a standard backstepping controller developed assuming full knowledge of the dynamics. Moreover, the NN controller does not require the linear-in-the-parameters assumption or the computation of regression matrices required by standard backstepping.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel position control for a sensorless synchronous reluctance drive system. By measuring the three-phase currents of the motor, a rotor position estimator is achieved. Then, a velocity estimator is derived from the estimated rotor position by using a state estimating technique. The estimated velocity tracks the real velocity well. Next, a robust position controller is designed to improve the transient and load disturbance responses. By using the proposed estimating techniques and control algorithm, a high-performance sensorless synchronous reluctance drive is obtained. A digital signal processor, TMS-320-C30, is used to execute the estimating and control algorithms. No hardware circuit or external signal is added as compared with the traditional drive system with an encoder or resolver. To evaluate the performance of the position control system, a moving table is connected with the drive system. The drive system can precisely control the moving table. Experimental results show that the proposed system has good performance. Several experimental results validate the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

We have, in accordance with new concepts, undertaken the development of a high-performance electric motor vehicle, designated as the IZA. The main performance features of the IZA are a maximum speed of 176 km/h, a range of 548 km per charge at a constant speed of 30 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 400 m in 18 s. We have developed a direct driving in-wheel motor and controller in order to achieve high performance characteristics. The in-wheel motor is composed of an outer rotor with a rare earth permanent magnet (Sm-Co) and an inner stator. The motor drive controller consists of a three-phase inverter and a microprocessor-based controller. The maximum output and maximum torque of each total drive system, including motor and inverter, are 25 kW and 42.5 kg·m, respectively, and the total efficiency of the drive system is over 90% at the rated speed. The performance of the motor, controller, and drive system have been confirmed by numerous simplex and vehicle transit tests. This paper addresses an adaptive observation system and a wavelet-neural-network (WNN) control system for achieving the favorable decoupling control and high-precision position tracking performance of an induction motor (IM) drive. First, an adaptive observation system with an inverse rotor time-constant observer is derived on the basis of model reference adaptive system theory to preserve the decoupling control characteristic of an indirect field-oriented IM drive. The adaptive observation system is implemented using a digital signal processor with a high sampling rate to make it possible to achieve good dynamics. Moreover, a WNN control system is developed via the principle of sliding-mode control to increase the robustness of the indirect field-oriented IM drive with the adaptive observation system for high-performance applications. In the WNN control system, a WNN is utilized to predict the uncertain system dynamics online to relax the requirement of uncertainty bound in the design of a traditional sliding-mode controller. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed observation and control systems is verified by simulated and experimental results.  相似文献

The applications of a variable-structure system (VSS) to the control of a switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive is presented. After reviewing the operation of an SRM drive, a VSS-based scheme is formulated to control the drive speed. The scheme is then designed and tested by simulation. The results show that the VSS control is effective in reducing the torque ripple of the motor, compensating for the nonlinear torque characteristics, and making the drive insensitive to parameter variations and disturbances  相似文献

Availability of high-energy neodymium-iron-boron (Nd-Fe-B) permanent magnet (PM) material has focused attention on the use of the PM synchronous motor (PMSM) drive for electric vehicles (EVs). A new Nd-Fe-B PMSM is proposed for the drive system, which possesses high power density and high efficiency, resulting in greater energy and space savings. The design and optimization of the motor employs finite element analysis and computer graphics. Increasingly, a new PWM inverter algorithm is developed for the drive system, which can handle the nonconstant battery voltage source. An efficiency optimizing control is adopted to further improve the energy utilization of the drive system. Both the control strategy and the PWM generation are implemented in a single-chip microcontroller. As a result, the motor drive achieves high power density, high efficiency, and compactness. A prototype of the 3.2 kW battery-powered drive system has been designed and built for an experimental mini-EV  相似文献

An adaptive backstepping control system using a recurrent neural network (RNN) is proposed to control the mover position of a linear induction motor (LIM) drive to compensate the uncertainties including the friction force in this paper. First, the dynamic model of an indirect field-oriented LIM drive is derived. Then, a backstepping approach is proposed to compensate the uncertainties including the friction force occurred in the motion control system. With the proposed backstepping control system, the mover position of the LIM drive possesses the advantages of good transient control performance and robustness to uncertainties for the tracking of periodic reference trajectories. Moreover, to further increase the robustness of the LIM drive, an RNN uncertainty observer is proposed to estimate the required lumped uncertainty in the backstepping control system. In addition, an online parameter training methodology, which is derived using the gradient-descent method, is proposed to increase the learning capability of the RNN. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified by both the simulated and experimental results  相似文献

A modeling technique for the discrete time domain analysis of power electronics and drive systems is discussed. A discrete model for a converter-fed DC motor drive system has been developed and simulated using this technique. All system components, including the DC machine and power converter, are modeled in a discrete manner as a network of transmission line sections with the same characteristics as the drive system. The technique isolates the nonlinearity due to the devices' switching action from the system equation and enables a constant system matrix to be used irrespective of the switching state of the power circuit. Since variable speed electric drive systems are supplied from power electronic converters, it is possible to utilize ac machines with a phase number higher than three. It is shown in the paper, using general theory of electrical machines, that an increase of the stator phase number to at least five (or more) enables completely independent vector control of two (or more) multiphase machines that are supplied from a single current-controlled voltage source inverter. In order to achieve such an independent control it is necessary to connect multiphase stator windings of the machines in series and perform an appropriate phase sequence transposition. The concept is equally applicable to any multiphase ac machine type and its major advantage, compared to an equivalent multimotor three-phase drive system, is the saving of a certain number of inverter legs. The actual saving depends on the number of phases. The concept is introduced using an n-phase induction machine as the starting point and further analysis is restricted to an odd number of phases, for the reason explained in the paper. Classification of all the possible cases that may arise is given, followed by presentation of connection diagrams for selected phase numbers. Detailed verification of the proposed concept is provided by simulating the operation of a seven-phase three-motor drive system, controlled using indirect rotor flux oriented control principles. Some preliminary experimental results, which confirm the feasibility of a two-motor series-connected drive system, are included as well. The main advantages and drawbacks of the concept, when compared with an equivalent three-phase multimotor drive system, are finally addressed.  相似文献

为了探究超声波检测技术在猪妊娠诊断中的应用,进一步了解和研究高频超声波检测系统中超声波产生驱动电路,设计了一种基于直接频率合成器(DDS)芯片AD9832的高频超声波驱动电路系统。根据AD9832的工作原理.采用AVR单片机控制AD9832产生2MHz脉冲,经过带通滤波器滤波,使用脉冲变压器放大电压,激励超声波换能器发射高频超声波。通过电路仿真和制作PCB板输出波形的方法来分析电路的处理效果。结果表明各部分电路设计合理实用,并且系统体积小,成本低,功耗小,可以为高频超声波检测系统的设计提供参考和依据。  相似文献

Improvement of adjustable speed drive system efficiency is important not only from the viewpoints of energy saving and cooling system operation, but also from the broad perspective of environmental pollution. The paper describes a fuzzy logic based on-line efficiency optimization control of a drive that uses an indirect vector controlled induction motor speed control system in the inner loop. At steady-state light-load condition, a fuzzy controller adaptively decrements the excitation current on the basis of measured input power such that, for a given load torque and speed, the drive settles down to the minimum input power, i.e., operates at maximum efficiency. The low-frequency pulsating torque due to decrementation of rotor flux is compensated in a feedforward manner. If the load torque or speed command changes, the efficiency search algorithm is abandoned and the rated flux is established to get the best transient response. The drive system with the proposed efficiency optimization controller has been simulated with lossy models of the converter and machine, and its performance has been thoroughly investigated. An experimental drive system with the proposed controller implemented on a TMS320C25 digital signal processor, has been tested in the laboratory to validate the theoretical development  相似文献
