In this paper, we present a study on the existence of Bleustein-Gulyaev-Shimizu piezoelectric surface acoustic waves in a two-dimensional piezoelectric phononic crystal (zinc oxide, ZnO, and cadmium-sulfide, CdS) using the plane wave expansion method. In the configuration of ZnO (100)/CdS(100) phononic crystal, the calculated results show that this type of surface waves has higher acoustic wave velocities, high electromechanical coupling coefficients, and larger band gap width than those of the Rayleigh surface waves and pseudosurface waves. In addition, we find that the folded modes of the Bleustein-Gulyaev-Shimizu surface waves have higher coupling coefficients.  相似文献

局域共振型声子晶体梁具有纵向振动带隙和横向振动带隙,一般而言,前者频率范围很窄而且衰减量极小,后者频率范围很宽并且衰减很强,二者往往不在同一频带,因此很难满足同一频带内的多维减振要求。针对这一问题,为充分利用横向振动带隙的宽频带强衰减特性,提出了一种局域共振型角式声子晶体梁,采用传递矩阵法进行了理论分析和数值求解,并进一步在有限元软件中做了仿真验证,结果表明该角梁能够通过纵波与横波的转换,使得三个自由度上的振动均能在同一频带内得到有效的衰减,从而一方面满足了工程上的多维减振需求,另一方面也拓展了声子晶体减振应用场合。  相似文献

In this paper, we analyzed the temperature effect on two-dimensional phononic crystals. Bandgap variations of both of the bulk modes and surface modes due to changing of temperature in an air/quartz band structure from 0 to 50 degrees C were calculated and discussed. The results show that the elastic bandgaps can be enlarged or reduced by adjusting the temperature of the band structure. The temperature effects potentially can be used for fine-tuning of the phononic bandgap frequency.  相似文献

针对声子晶体直梁的低维窄带减振特性的不足,提出了一类声子晶体角梁。采用传递矩阵法对角梁进行了理论分析和数值求解,并进行了有限元仿真验证。分析结果表明:声子晶体角梁能够通过纵向振动和弯曲振动的转化使得组成梁的两种带隙同时得以发挥减振作用,从而有效地实现了宽频多维减振;声子晶体角梁的构造角度对其减振性能有明显的影响,90度角梁减振能力明显优于45度和135度情况;当加载角由0度向90度变化时,角梁内的振动由纵向振动为主逐渐过渡到弯曲振动占主导地位,弯曲带隙内的衰减也随之更加显著,反之亦然;扭簧能够加强角梁的“弹簧-振子”效应,不仅可以增加总振动带隙的宽度和衰减量,而且提高了低频区减振能力。  相似文献

High-frequency surface acoustic waves can be generated by ultrafast laser excitation of nanoscale patterned surfaces. Here we study this phenomenon in the hypersonic frequency limit. By modeling the thermomechanics from first-principles, we calculate the system's initial heat-driven impulsive response and follow its time evolution. A scheme is introduced to quantitatively access frequencies and lifetimes of the composite system's excited eigenmodes. A spectral decomposition of the calculated response on the eigemodes of the system reveals asymmetric resonances that result from the coupling between surface and bulk acoustic modes. This finding allows evaluation of impulsively excited pseudosurface acoustic wave frequencies and lifetimes and expands our understanding of the scattering of surface waves in mesoscale metamaterials. The model is successfully benchmarked against time-resolved optical diffraction measurements performed on one-dimensional and two-dimensional surface phononic crystals, probed using light at extreme ultraviolet and near-infrared wavelengths.  相似文献

A gradient-index axicon with its initial focus offset from the back surface was designed with the thin-lens approximation. Two samples were fabricated by means of the time-varying boundary condition diffusion method, which is based on the modified quasi-chemical diffusion model. Intensity profile measurements were taken along the focal region of the axicons. The samples produced extended line foci. From the intensity measurements, the central spot widths and back focal lengths were determined. The peak widths matched theoretical predictions made with the diffraction theory for the samples and showed good agreement with the predicted widths for a pseudo-Bessel beam, showing that the axicon produced a pseudo-diffractionless beam.  相似文献

The uncertain spatial variation of material properties can remarkably affect the band gap characteristics of phononic crystals (PnCs). It is necessary to consider this issue when designing and manufacturing PnC materials/structures. This paper investigates a robust topology optimization method for designing the microstructures of PnCs by considering random‐field material properties. Herein, the spatial distribution of the material properties is first represented by a random field and then discretized into uncorrelated stochastic variables with the expansion optimal linear estimation method; stochastic band gap analysis is then conducted with polynomial chaos expansion. Furthermore, a robust topology optimization formulation of PnCs is proposed on the basis of the relative elemental density, where a weighted objective function handles the compromise of the mean value and standard deviation of the PnC band gap. The band gap response is analyzed, employing the finite element method for each sample of polynomial chaos expansion. In this context, the sensitivities of the stochastic band gap behaviors to the design variables are also derived. Numerical examples demonstrate that the proposed method can generate meaningful optimal topologies of PnCs with a relatively large width and less sensitive band gap. Additionally, the effects of the weight factors in the objective function and the variation coefficient of material properties are discussed.  相似文献

将一维声子晶体的原胞简化为有限多个自由度的弹簧振子结构,在辛对偶变量体系下探讨晶格振动,引入辛数学方法确定波矢与本证值的色散关系。通过本证值计数法计算特征频率,从而得到禁带区间。与传统集中质量法相比,该算法的计算结果与之吻合很好,且提高了计算精度和计算效率,更重要的是在低频处收敛性更好。  相似文献

应用平面波展开法研究了由功能梯度材料周期复合而成的一维声子晶体中存在的弹性波带隙特征,并得到第一阶带隙归一化起始频率、截止频率和宽度随功能梯度材料表面材料常数、指数因子和组分比变化的关系图。并对功能梯度材料声子晶体与常规材料声子晶体帯隙特征进行了比较,结果表明,功能梯度材料声子晶体较常规材料声子晶体在相同范围内能够出现更多阶带隙结构。这些结果为功能梯度材料声子晶体在工程实际中的广泛应用提供了理论依据和指导。  相似文献

What we believe to be a new principle is introduced for the design and selection of gradient-index antireflection profiles that are effective over a wide range of incident angles as well as wavelengths at a given physical film thickness. It is shown that at oblique incidence the smoothness of the optical path of incident light inside a gradient-index film has a crucial effect on the overall reflection. Thus the smoothness of variations in refractive angle (rather than that of the index profile itself) needs to be maximized for wide-angle operation. As an example, the performance of Gaussian and Quintic profiles at large incident angles are considered in light of this point of view.  相似文献

Using a femtosecond laser incident to an oxide-metal-oxide film engraved with a subwavelength annular aperture (SAA) structure, we generated a Bessel-like beam to ablate silicon. Experimental results show that the silicon can be ablated with a 0.05 J/cm(2) input ablation threshold at 120 fs pulse duration. We obtained a surface hole possessing a diameter less than 1 μm. Optical performance, including depth-of-focus and focal spot of the SAA structure, were simulated using finite-different time-domain calculations. We found that a far-field laser beam propagating through a SAA structure possesses a submicrometer focal spot and high focus intensity. Our method can be easily adopted for surface machining in microfabrication applications.  相似文献
