优化物流配送路径是一个经典的NP问题,构造基于并购算法的物流配送路径优化的模型。经过多次模拟实验,可以快速获取物流配送路径优化问题的最优解或近似最优解。由此得出并购算法在求解物流配路径优化方面有较强的优越性。

对中国企业海外并购的现状进行了调查,在微观层次上,从并购主体、要素禀赋、企业行为动机和优秀管理人才和核心竞争力方面;在宏观层面,从中国经济管理体制、市场发育水平及东道国的非经济因素三方面分析了中国企业海外并购面临的问题.从加强企业跨国并购的研究与战略规划,避免并购的盲目性以及培养更多具有竞争力的民营企业的微观层面和加强政府为企业提供有关海外并购信息及对企业海外并购活动的引导、建立完善的法律法规支持体系、大力发展跨国并购的中介服务机构的政府宏观层面提出推动中国企业跨国并购进一步良性发展的政策建议.     

有时间窗物流配送路径优化问题的并购算法

通过对市场资源优化配置中市场行为的了解,提取企业在市场中的行为之一并购行为的精华,并简化并购行为的模型。根据计算得到的企业劣信度,企业间进行合理的并购和重组,也是对市场资源再整合,使资源得到充分的优化配置,进而提高整体企业的市场竞争力。在建立有时间窗物流配送路径优化问题的数学模型基础上,构造有时间窗物流配送路径优化的并购算法模型。该模型包含编码、初始化、预处理、劣信度评估、并购操作、重组操作以及选择操作等七个模块。在Solomon数据集上进行多次实验,并与目前实验已经获得的最优解做比较,获取有时间窗物流配送路径优化问题的最优解或近似最优解。

IS Strategy and IS Contribution: CEO and CIO Perspectives

This research compares views of CEOs and CIOs in the same organization about the contribution of IS to their organization and about the IS strategy that produced the contribution. The executives agree about the extent of IS contribution, but disagree about how IS strategy produces it. CEOs view analysis and proactiveness strategies as the two top keys to doing so, whereas CIOs see innovativeness and aggressiveness strategies as the two top keys.     

A study of IS assets,IS ambidexterity,and IS alignment: the dynamic managerial capability perspective

This study aims to explore how IT-business alignment can be better achieved. Drawing on the dynamic capability view, information systems (IS) alignment and IS ambidexterity are theorized as IT departments’ ordinary capability and dynamic managerial capability, respectively. Four IS assets are identified as antecedents of both IS ambidexterity and IS alignment. A research model with 14 hypotheses is tested with a sample of 162 manufacturing firms. The PLS analysis shows that IS ambidexterity can increase IS alignment in terms of operational support and that the four IS assets can affect IS alignment directly or indirectly. Implications for research and practice are provided.     

IS journal review process: a survey on IS research practices and journal review issues

Journal publication is an important indicator of research productivity for individual researchers as well as academic institutions. It is also a contentious issue as various stakeholders have different and often conflicting interests and perspectives. This study explores how IS researchers view journal review and publication process based on their professional status, institutional mission, and role orientation. It also investigates publication practices of IS researchers, such as frequency of article submissions, acceptance/rejection rates, number of revisions required before publication, and publication outlets.     

Effects of strategic alignment on IS success: the mediation role of IS investment in Korea

The purpose of this research is to develop a comprehensive information system (IS) evaluation model for IS success linked to organizational performance. The primary focus of this research is to investigate the role of IT investment in business values by means of a group survey of about 300 business executives in Korea. We used the contingency theory to discover the mediation effect of IS investment on strategic alignment and IS success. In contrast to previous research, this study expanded the test scope to IS architecture and organizational structure at the operational level. The results from 273 business executives in Korea indicated that strategy integration with IT is positively related to IT investment, and IT investment is a critical antecedent of IS success. Thus, the implications of the findings are that right-directional IT investment has played an important role in the success of IT companies in Korea.     

Perception gaps between IS academics and IS practitioners: an exploratory study

It has long been recognized that there are significant perception gaps between information systems (IS) academics and IS practitioners with regards to the required IS knowledge/skills to perform their professional jobs successfully. Unfortunately, there is no consensus about which knowledge/skills are more important in the IS profession. With the rapidly changing IS technology and IS industry, a study was urgently needed to find and understand the gaps between these two groups. We report here on a study to measure the gap.     

Mergers and Innovation: Declining Commitment to Pharmaceutical Research

Using the work of Michael Porter it is argued that the success of the UK pharmaceutical industry has been the result of ‘vigorous’ domestic competition. It now appears that the UK industry will effectively become a duopoly dominated by Glaxo-Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham. This will reduce the incentive to innovate new products which has been central to the pharmaceutical industry's success in recent years. In addition, the broader implications for the UK economy are also depressing as the pharmaceutical industry makes a disproportionate contribution to industrial expenditure on R&D.     

New Human Resources Practices,Technology and Their Impact on SMEs' Efficiency

In this article we have analyzed both the main traits of efficient firms and the main sources of firms' efficiency through a representative sample of 2.029 small and medium size Catalan firms. Our results demonstrate the importance for managers of realizing that firms' efficiency shows a significant improvement when advanced ICT uses are combined with human resources practices focused on the promotion of workers autonomy, flexibility and decentralization of firm's decision making process, and with the adoption of employees assessment systems based on human values.

Topology driven modeling: the IS metaphor

In order to define a new method for analyzing the immune system within the realm of Big Data, we bear on the metaphor provided by an extension of Parisi’s model, based on a mean field approach. The novelty is the multilinearity of the couplings in the configurational variables. This peculiarity allows us to compare the partition function \(Z\) with a particular functor of topological field theory—the generating function of the Betti numbers of the state manifold of the system—which contains the same global information of the system configurations and of the data set representing them. The comparison between the Betti numbers of the model and the real Betti numbers obtained from the topological analysis of phenomenological data, is expected to discover hidden n-ary relations among idiotypes and anti-idiotypes. The data topological analysis will select global features, reducible neither to a mere subgraph nor to a metric or vector space. How the immune system reacts, how it evolves, how it responds to stimuli is the result of an interaction that took place among many entities constrained in specific configurations which are relational. Within this metaphor, the proposed method turns out to be a global topological application of the S[B] paradigm for modeling complex systems.

Critical IS professional activities and skills/knowledge: A perspective of IS managers

This study utilized the activity competency model to investigate the perceived importance of critical professional activities and skills/knowledge required by three levels of information system (IS) managers. Our findings indicated that the perceived importance of critical IS professional activities were significantly different among the management levels, but not significantly different for various industry types. Carrying a critical IS activity out involves the use of a number of different skills and/or knowledge. A portfolio of the professional activities and the needed skills/knowledge at each management level are identified. The results of this study have implications for IS professional development and training. They can also serve as a guideline for recruiting the right IS managers and developing IS curriculums.
