Integrated automatic control system for blast-furnace production

Analysis of the existing automatic control system gives rise to a proposal for an integrated automated system regulating the blast furnace, the thermoelectric generation center, and steam and air supply center. The benefits of this system are outlined. Experience in automating the multifuel steam boiler at OAO Dneprovskii Metallurgicheskii Kombinat is described.

Design and realization of the automatic control system for the bell anneal furnace production

In accordance with the technical requirements of the full hydrogen bell anneal furnace(BAF)used for the annealing of stainless steel coils in the Baosteel Stainless Steel Business Unit,the design concept for the automatic control system was introduced in the paper.The major points described concerned the infrastructure of computers and networks,system interfaces,control functions,etc.The process control system of the full hydrogen BAF(L2)was the topic and its seven main functions were introduced.The expected output was achieved and manufacturing efficiency was enhanced within three months after the BAF units were put into operation,which demonstrated that the design concept of the automatic control system introduced in the paper was correct and that its functionalities were effective.

Research and application of automatic control system of argon blowing at ladle shroud

Argon blowing at the ladle shroud requires the best flow control strategy to effectively avoid the secondary oxidation of molten steel, slag entrapment and heat loss during the casting of the tundish, and at the same time, give full play to the role of bubbles to remove inclusions. Therefore, an automatic control system for argon blowing at the ladle shroud was proposed. The data collected by S7-300PLC and software programming were used to adjust the argon blowing flow online in real time according to factors such as pouring and continuous pouring. On this basis, PID control algorithm and closed loop control mechanism were used for real time adjustment. The flow control valve ensures theminimum deviation between the actual value of the flow and the set value. The production data of this system in the first quarter of 2021 in a special steel plant show that the proportion of furnaces with an acid soluble aluminum (Als) loss percentage of less than 10% of each steel grade has increased by 5.52%, and the proportion of furnaces with an Als loss percentage of more than 60% has increased from 1% decrease to 0. The actual application results show that the use of the system improves the surface quality of the continuous casting slab and the performance of the final product.     

钢包长水口吹氩自动控制系统研究与应用

摘要：钢包长水口吹氩采用最佳的流量控制策略,能有效避免中间包浇注过程中出现钢液二次氧化、卷渣和热量损失等负面影响,同时,能充分发挥气泡去除夹杂物的作用。为此,提出钢包长水口吹氩自动控制系统,通过S7-300PLC采集数据及软件编程,根据开浇、连浇等因素在线调节吹氩流量,在此基础上运用PID控制算法和闭环控制机制实时调整流量控制阀,保证流量实际值与设定值偏差最小。此系统在某特钢厂2021年第1季度生产数据表明,各钢种连铸坯酸溶铝（Als）损失百分比小于10%的炉数比例上升了5.52%,Als损失百分比大于60%的炉数比例由1%下降为0。实际应用结果表明,该系统提高了连铸坯表面质量及最终成品性能。

开发韶钢新综合料场自动控制系统,依据料场工艺流程,对设备控制、视频监控、高压综保、高压监控和料场管理等系统功能进行设计,并由大型可编程序控制器(PLC)对整个系统进行统一控制,使整个系统具有操作性强、自动化程度高等特点,其自动化控制技术方面达到了同行业先进水平,为韶钢原料的存储和输送发挥重要的作用.
