针对近几年汽车厂反映的冷轧镀锌板冲压后分层开裂的问题,为了研究该缺陷产生原因,选取4块典型的冲压分层开裂试样,使用扫描电镜和能谱仪对缺陷的微观特征进行了分析。结果表明,引起冷轧镀锌板冲压分层开裂的主要原因为保护渣卷入、皮下夹杂物、异物压入、擦划伤4种情况。4种缺陷的产生原因各不相同,但造成开裂的机理基本类似,对每一类缺陷的形成原因和开裂机理进行了分析与讨论,并提出了改善措施,为缺陷的原因排查、工序分离和质量改进提供了方向。

Evaluation of Metal Attenuation through Paper Clay Utilized for Containment of Contaminated Groundwater

Paper clay has several properties that make its use in vertical barriers very promising. In this paper the characteristics of two paper sludges (which will also be referred to as paper clays) one from the Erving Paper Company and one from the International Paper Company are considered. To determine the feasibility of paper clay for heavy metal attenuation, batch tests, column tests, hydraulic conductivity tests, and pressure filtration tests were performed. Batch testing showed that the metal, the distribution coefficient (Kd) ranged from as low as 0.002 L/g for manganese to as high as 6.7 L/g for lead in International paper clay. In the Erving paper clay the Kd ranged from 0.007 L/g for manganese to 1.9 L/g for cadmium, while the International paper clay Kd ranged from 0.002 L/g for manganese to 6.7 L/g for lead. Chemisorption was established as the predominant metal binding mechanism in both clays with the only exceptions being manganese adsorption on International paper clay that indicated a constant partitioning, and copper and lead on Erving paper clay that indicated constant partitioning and cooperative adsorption, respectively. Both hydraulic conductivity and pressure filtration tests revealed permeabilities ranging from 10?5 to 10?7?cm/s. Chloride testing showed that the coefficient of hydrodynamic dispersion (D) within paper clay is on the order of 10?7?cm2/s.

Glass is an unforgiving material and the paper explains the measures taken to reduce risk of failure.     

Anal canal cancer diagnosis: usefulness of serum tumor markers

Many paper based chart recorders still suffer from paper uptake systems for the collection of chart record that operate inefficiently or haphazardly. An efficient low cost paper minder using 1.2 mm diameter stainless steel wire for the Siemens-Elema AB Mingograph 7, has been developed. This wire pivots from the end of the chart viewing table and provides an effective force to redirect paper into the standard collecting basket over the entire range of paper speeds.     

Integrity of Sandwich Panels and Beams with Truss-Reinforced Cores

This paper outlines several issues related to the design of sandwich structures with a truss-reinforced polymeric or hollow core. The first part of the paper employs a simple analytical model that illustrates the contribution of such a core to the structure’s facing stability. While the enhancement of the facing stability due to truss reinforcement is shown to be considerable, the problems of local strength and truss-element (pin) stability have to be analyzed prior to the acceptance of the design concept discussed in the paper. Accordingly, the second part of the paper presents the results of finite-element analysis used to pinpoint potentially weak elements in the considered design. The paper results in a number of practical conclusions and recommendations that may be useful for the development and implementation of sandwich structures with truss-reinforced cores.
