Consideration was given to a generalization of the so-called S-procedure in the problem of sign-definiteness of the quadratic form under quadratic constraints. Minimax filtration of a process in a stochastic linear differential system with uncertain perturbation intensities for dynamics and observation models is studied. The filter is optimized by an integral quality criterion. Minimax filtering equations are derived from the solution of the dual optimization problem. A regularization method for cheap periodic control problems is designed. The periodic problem for singularly perturbed Riccati matrix differential equations is reduced to an extended system of singularly perturbed initial problems. This system admits the application of a geometric approach based on the use of integral manifolds and, consequently, dimensional reduction. The solution is asymptotically expanded in fractional powers of a small parameter. For dynamic systems described by differential equations with smooth functions in the state space, the size of the parameter space is minimized such that the input-output image of the system is preserved by finding the complete set of algebraic invariants for a fixed structure of the equations of the system. A relationship between the constructs of the algebra of functions used in the problem and the mathematical constructs used in the differential geometric approach is established. Computer-aided derivation of the motion equations of a package of mechanical systems was considered. Its mathematical support was based on the F.M. Kulakov method. The freeflying space robotic module for servicing the satellite stations was discussed as an example of the package of mechanical systems. The right side of the resulting mathematical model generated by the symbolic computer system such as Maple was represented as easy-to-use relations for decomposition of the object motion equations. Consideration was given to the estimation of the unknown parameters of a stable infinite-dimensional autoregressive model from the observations of a random time series. The class of such models includes an autoregressive moving-average equation with a stable moving-average part. A modified procedure of the least-squares method was used to identify the unknown parameters. For the infinite-dimensional case, the estimates of the least-squares method were proved to be strong consistent.
