Traffic systems are undergoing enormous change with the advent of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Although productivity and quality of mobility are emerging interests, safety remains the predominant preoccupation of ITS human factors. It should be evident that while intelligent technologies may have the potential to improve traffic safety, they also have the potential to adversely affect it. Ultimately, the effect on safety depends on the specific technologies that are invoked and the manner in which they are incorporated within the vehicle as well as within the larger road transportation system. Current automotive developments can be characterized as technology-centred solutions rather than usercentred solutions. Greater effort must be directed at understanding and accommodating the human element in the road transportation system in order that future transportation objectives can be achieved. There is a need to expand the scope of traditional human factors to include macro-level effects as well as to place greater emphasis on understanding human interactions with other elements of the system. There is also increasing recognition of the urgent need for systematic procedures and criteria for testing the safety of ITS prior to large-scale market penetration.  相似文献

车载自组织网络(简称车载网)是一种由车辆节点和路侧节点(基础设施)构成的自组织网络,是智能交通(Intelligent Transport System,ITS)领域的核心技术之一。区块链的分布式数据存储、点对点传输、共识机制、加密算法等技术可保证车载网中的安全性、可靠性,但是区块链的强一致性和链式结构特点无法满足车载网的两个主要特性,即车辆节点快速移动性和网络不稳定性。文中重点研究区块链在车辆节点移动性和网络不稳定性条件下的节点、存储、跨链、共识等技术特性,分析存在的问题并提出解决方法,最后展望区块链在车载网中的新应用及研究方向,为今后的研究提供参考。  相似文献

Evaluation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) at the planning level requires the use of appropriate tools that can capture the dynamic and stochastic interactions between demand and supply. The objective of this paper is to present a methodological simulation-based framework for such applications and implement it in the context of dynamic traffic assignment. The framework consists of a mesoscopic supply simulator and a demand simulator that combines OD estimation capabilities with discrete travel behavior models. Simulation-based DTA systems are particularly suited to evaluate a wide range of Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and Advanced Traveler Information Systems (ATIS). The simulation model performance is illustrated through two large-scale case studies in Irvine, California, and Lower Westchester County, NY.  相似文献

智能交通系统(ITS)是解决日益严重的高速公路和城市交通问题的有效途径.车辆检测传感器是ITS中最重要的交通数据采集设备之一.通过埋在地下或者安装于道路两旁的车辆检测器,可以准确实时地获得各种交通数据(包括车流量、车速度、车辆密度、占有率等).在众多车辆检测器中,感应线圈式车辆检测器具有性能稳定、性价比高、应用方便等优点,因而目前在工程上应用最广.但其探测线圈体积庞大,安装时需要阻断交通,工程量大;线圈容易损坏.本文将采用微型线圈,并将单片机控制技术引入传统的车辆传感器中,从而有效地降低了安装的工程量,开发出适用性更强的车辆传感器.经实验证明,该传感器可有效地检测出车辆信号.  相似文献

Evidently, Intelligent Transport System (ITS) has progressed tremendously all its way. The core of ITS are detection and recognition of traffic sign, which are designated to fulfill safety and comfort needs of driver. This paper provides a critical review on three major steps in Automatic Traffic Sign Detection and Recognition(ATSDR) system i.e., segmentation, detection and recognition in the context of vision based driver assistance system. In addition, it focuses on different experimental setups of image acquisition system. Further, discussion on possible future research challenges is made to make ATSDR more efficient, which inturn produce a wide range of opportunities for the researchers to carry out the detailed analysis of ATSDR and to incorporate the future aspects in their research.  相似文献

交通堵塞、环境污染等交通问题本质上可以看作是人、车、路的矛盾,智能交通系统是解决这一矛盾的一种途径。对目前国内外智能交通系统的研究与发展进行了全面的介绍和分析,重点总结了我国目前智能交通系统的发展情况。在此基础上,分析我国交通现状,探讨我国智能交通系统发展所面临的问题与挑战。最后,讨论符合我国国情的智能交通系统发展思路,提出在智能交通系统中引用物联网、云计算、数据挖掘等技术,鼓励政府、企业及高校共同参与来加强标准化工作。通过建立产业联盟促进我国智能交通系统产业链整合,并将智能交通系统与物流业相结合来提高我国智能交通系统水平。  相似文献

In the techno world, the Internet of Things (IoT) is a growing and advanced technology that has become an enormous base for employing in various applications of different genres, including smart vehicle infrastructure, by facilitating Internet connections. Because of the developing nature and the salient features of ensuring high-level road safety and security to optimize traffic management, vehicle networks have become a significant research field in the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). With various benefits of ITS and IoT, the wireless device transfer connectivity raises the possibility of privacy violations, which may result in surveillance, deflection of identification, and the hijacking of virtual vehicles. Therefore, avoiding data security disputes for computing in the IoT-ITS remains a significant challenge. The IoT supported with Multiple-Objective Genetic Assessment (IoT-MOGA) helps to tackle this problem. The security of knowledge transparency for ITS is suggested in this article. The communication-based vehicle routing method is then configured to retrieve the vehicles from the initial automobile, where the device assignment is placed at the vehicle location. The goal is to improve the consumption of time and energy MOGA to decrease the accomplishing time and avoid conflicts in computer tasks’ privacy. Eventually, investigational assessments are required to demonstrate IoT-MOGA's performance and competitiveness.  相似文献

In Arizona, a window of opportunity exists for using planned infrastructure expenditures to construct intelligent lanes on Interstate Highway 10 between Phoenix and Tucson for deploying intelligent vehicles (IVs). In 1998, the University of Arizona formed the Vehicles with Intelligent Systems for Transport Automation research team, which the ADOT charged with the mission of investigating new and existing technologies and concepts that address those issues. The Arizona state legislature and ADOT funded the VISTA project initially. The paper discusses the vehicle and control system.  相似文献

A wide variety of in-vehicle devices such as camera sensors, navigation systems, telematics and communication equipments have been incorporated into a vehicle to realize Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) applications. Because an efficient standardized network is required, ITS Data Bus (IDB) has been discussed to carry high-speed multimedia data for audio, video and other real-time ITS applications. For connecting devices in a standardized manner, the IDB network has architecture with a gateway called vehicle interface which is located between automaker’s proprietary network and the standardized IDB network. IEEE 1394 (also known as iLink or FireWire), which can transport multimedia data for consumer electronics, is a good candidate for IDB network. In this paper, we analyze the issues for existing AV/C protocol (application layer protocol over IEEE 1394) to comprise the IDB network. In addition, we designed and implemented the vehicle interface protocol as a higher layer of IEEE 1394 to address the AV/C protocol issues for realizing the whole IDB network architecture.  相似文献

与传统的车辆检测器相比,基于视频图像处理与视觉技术的车辆检测器具有处理速度快、安装维护便捷且费用较低、可监视范围广、可获取更多种类的交通参数等诸多优点,因而近年来在智能交通系统(ITS)中得到了越来越广泛的应用。针对摄像头拍摄得到的交通序列图像,人们提出了很多视频图像处理和分析技术,其中最基本的研究领域就是交通场景中车辆对象的检测与跟踪。介绍了近年来提出的一些主要的车辆检测与跟踪技术,并根据核心处理方法(基于特征、区域或模型等)及处理域(空域、时域)的不同对这些技术进行了分类,同时分析比较了各种方法的优缺点。最后,说明了这一领域仍然存在的问题和对可能的研究方向进行了一定的预测。  相似文献

动态路径诱导系统(DRGS)是智能运输系统(ITS)研究的一个重要内容,动态路径诱导算法要考虑到全局最优和实时性问题。因此建立了一种包含实时路网信息而且可以针对时间进行离散化处理的路网模型,同时提出了一种用改进的Ford最短路径算法来初始化种群的演化算法,并设计了一组特定的演化算子(选择、交叉、变异),来求解动态路径诱导系统中的“多准最优路径”。最后,通过数值实验表明了此算法的可行性和有效性。  相似文献

Vehicular Networks is considered a major step in the field of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). In this technology, some equipment will be installed on vehicles and special places at roadsides which will enable the wireless communication between vehicles with each other and will provide the communication between the vehicles and roadside equipment. One of the ITS application is Traffic monitoring system. Such system enables accessing traffic videos by traffic monitoring centers to make traffic decision. However, providing traffic video for the vehicles can be appealing. This paper addresses a new application in vehicular networks and ITS which can provide this videos for drivers in a city. Each driver request timely traffic video of a location from a web server and the web server forward this request to a stream management server. This server based on current location of the requester vehicle, its speed and its direction calculates appropriate video chunks for each RSU along vehicle destination. This study aims to present a system which can bring a high accessibility for content and can provide it with an appropriate bandwidth and quality for vehicles. Due to the scalability and bandwidth limitations for its content and streaming, vehicular networks are used in this system.  相似文献
