The s-shaped growth curves of detected software errors can be observed in software testing. The delayed s-shaped and inflection s-shaped software reliability growth models based on a nonhomogeneous Poisson process are discussed. The software reliability growth types of the models are investigated in terms of the error detection rate per error. 摘要:基于核函数的软件可靠性模型一般对软件失效时间数据与发生在其之前的m次失效时间数据的关系进行建模,着重研究了m取值不同时,其对核函数可靠性模型预测能力的影响。在5个不同类型失效数据集上,采用Mann-Kendall检验观测到m值增大时模型预测能力逐渐下降,说明现时失效时间数据能比较久之前观测的失效时间数据更好地用于预测未来,通过把m的取值划分成几个区间,运用配对T检验进行实验研究,结果表明当m∈{6,7,8,9,10}时,模型能够得到最好的预测性能。 相似文献

A brief introduction describes the characteristics of configuration management and outlines the key issues of knowledge and control of content, along with the targets developed for configuration management. Software, as a relatively new discipline, is still evolving standard techniques. The special properties of software which cause difficulty in configuration management are discussed. The theme moves to the planning of configuration management in order to support the reliability program. While many organisations consider con-figuration management at the end of development, the reasoning and recommendations (based on experience) are given for applying configuration management during the entire development and life of a project. The paper shows how to implement software configuration management and describes the method used in YARD. It concentrates on the view of the system by all users, and the impact on the ability to send software to customers with confidence, keep track of reported defects, and trace the effect of modifications on all issued software. The software configuration control system is the foundation on which all reporting systems must be based. It is an entirely different matter accumulating and analysing failure reports on some object like a pressure transducer, the configuration control for which is easily identified, than a large software-based system undergoing continual evolution and correction. The use of computers to maintain configuration control discipline on software is essential and, in our experience, works. 相似文献

The probabilistic behavior of repairable two-state systems is studied. It is assumed that the reliability of the system can be measured by the amount of time the system has been operative. The operating and repair states are a pair of renewal processes, a particular mixture of which describes the statistical behavior of the system. The object of this contribution is to extend the results of Muth who has earlier obtained the average value of the downtime and its variance, when one of the constituent renewal processes has its interval lengths distributed exponentially. This paper, by the repeated use of the method of regeneration points, obtains the mean and mean-square values of the uptime distribution. In addition the correlation of the uptime for different times has been derived and a proof of Takacs' theorem is provided. Since the criteria for the reliability of the system include the associated cost, it is worthwhile investigating the operating cost over any period of time for arbitrary distribution of the two states. In particular a demonstration of the calculation of the first two moments of the total cost is given. 相似文献
