数字电视商业模式遭遇"蛋鸡悖论"

2003年12月6日,在国家信息产业部有关部门和《IT 时代周刊》共同主办的“2003中国信息产业经济年会”上,国家广播电影电视总局科技司司长王效杰透露,中国已经开始启动有线电视从模拟向数字的整体转换,这标志着中国的“数字电视”时代即将拉开帷幕。数字电视,在2003年几乎成了众家巨头争相追逐的对象,不但跨国巨头惠普、摩托罗拉宣布要将触角伸向信息家电产品应用领域,国内企业 TCL、联想、长城也纷纷表示看好数字电视产业带来的新商机,将大举进军高端电视领域,数字电视似乎开始掀起一股席卷世界的投资浪潮。然而,在对数字电视描绘的一片美妙前景下,中国数字电视的产业链却正遭遇种种危机。当我们亲眼目睹数字电视在欧洲、美国和日本等国日益普及时,中国甚至连统一国家标准的问题还没有解决。随着时间的流逝,中国数字电视市场的机遇和主动权却开始逐渐转移到国外企业的手里。中国的“数字电视”时代还能顺利来临吗?种种迹象表明,商业模式的尴尬处境,核心技术的赢弱状态,标准确定时间的一拖再拖……都已经严重阻碍了整个中国数字电视产业的发展进程。一切,都已经到了我们必须严肃面对的时刻!因此,《IT 时代周刊》特策划此期封面报道,调动北京、上海、广州三地记者分别对数字电视内容提供商、网络运营商、设备生产商进行了深入调查,详细解剖产业链条上存在的根本性问题、希望能以此为契机,督促中国数字电视产业能够快速成长、健步前行。     

Evaluating Internet technologies business effectiveness

This paper focuses on analyzing the relationship between Internet technologies and firm performance. This relationship is examined not only from the simple presence of Internet technologies, but also according to different e-business orientations: e-business orientation to customers and e-business orientation to internal processes. In addition, the relationship between Internet technologies and the proposed e-business orientations is examined. To achieve these objectives, a theoretical model is developed and tested by using structural equation modelling on a dataset of 1010 firms. The results show a positive relationship between e-business orientations and firm performance. In contrast, the results confirm that the merely presence of Internet technologies is not positively associated with firm performance.

Using business performance to communicate change

Change management, reengineering, repositioning, restructuring, or just doing things differently-the scope of change ranges from monumental cultural shifts of billion-dollar corporations to a local retailer's efforts to remain competitive in a town under siege by national mega-chains. Implementing change successfully, regardless of the scale, requires internal communication strategies that are interactive, dynamic, and even fun. Such strategies should train workers in the use of contemporary tools, while simultaneously entertaining them and providing positive re-enforcement through continuous recognition and reward. But above all, change management communication must be closely linked to business performance, pairing the needs of employees with the needs of the business. Doing so will result in greater employee support and ultimately lead to increased performance

Progress in MOS-controlled bipolar devices and edge termination technologies

An overview of the recent developments in high-voltage power semiconductor MOS-controlled bipolar devices is presented. The Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology is explored from its initial stage up to the latest state-of-the-art developments, in terms of cathode engineering, drift design and anode engineering to highlight the different approaches used for optimisation and the achieved trade-offs. Further, several MOS-gated thyristors, which are aimed to replace the IGBT, are analysed. Moreover, the present paper reviews the various approaches in the fabrication of edge termination used in power device MOS-controlled bipolar devices.

柱边边缘扫描检出模型的研究

本文建立了两种通用的柱边边缘扫描（白光扫描和激光扫描）检出的理论模型，给出了这两种模型的计算机仿真曲线，分析了影响边缘检出灵敏度的因素，并通过三种边缘检出方法验证了这两种模型的正确性。
