在重要航空材料TA15钛合金基材表面进行激光同轴送粉熔覆Ni60A-Ni包WC-TiB2-Y2O3混合粉末可生成非晶-纳米晶增强复合涂层.对涂层进行微观组织观察、显微硬度测试及室温干摩擦磨损试验.结果表明,涂层主要由γ-(Fe,Ni),WC,α-W2C,M12C,Ti-B化合物,Ti-Al金属间化合物,Mo,Zr与V元素的碳化物以及非晶相构成.整个涂层为非晶、纳米晶及其它晶化相共存.涂层较TA15钛合金表现出更好的耐磨损性,且涂层的主要磨损机制为磨粒磨损与粘着磨损.纳米晶颗粒的产生可使涂层磨损表面光滑,有利于摩擦系数与磨损量的降低.  相似文献

The sliding friction and wear behaviors of Mg-11Y-5Gd-2Zn-0.5Zr (wt%) alloy were investigated under oil lubricant condition by pin-on-disk configuration with a constant sliding distance of 1,000 m in the temperature range of 25-200℃. Results indicate that the volumetric wear rates and average friction coefficients decrease with the increase of sliding speeds, and increase with the increase of test temperature below 150℃. The hard and thermally stable Mg12(Y,Gd)Zn phase with long-period stacking order structure in the alloy presents significant wear resistance, The wear mechanism below 100℃ is abrasive wear as a result of plastic extrusion deformation. The corporate effects of severe abrasive, oxidative, and delaminating wear result in the tribological mechanism above 100℃.  相似文献

In this study, the mechanical, tribological, and corrosion properties of annealed diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings on M2 steel with various annealing temperatures were investigated. The results indicated that DLC coating on M2 steel annealed at 500 °C had the worst performance. Both corrosion polarization resistance and wear resistance against ceramic alumina counterface of DLC coatings decreased with increasing annealing temperature, which can be due to the decline of the coating hardness after the thermal treatment. When sliding against aluminum counterface material, the DLC annealed at 600 °C had the lowest coefficient of friction (cof) and wear resistance due to its high graphitic structure and low hardness. Compared with the original coating, cofs increased for coatings treated at below 300 °C; however, further increasing the annealing temperature led to the decrease of the cofs. Little material attachment occurred between DLC coatings (original and annealed) and counterface materials (both alumina and aluminum balls) except for the DLC annealed at 600 °C, in which coating material transferred to the surface of counterface ball.  相似文献

Frictional behavior of nano and hybrid-structured NiAl-Cr2O3-Ag-CNT-WS2 adaptive self-lubricant coatings was evaluated at a range of temperatures, from room temperature to 700 °C. For this purpose, hybrid structured (HS) and nanostructured (NS) composite powders with the same nominal compositions were prepared by spray drying and heat treatment techniques. A series of HS and NS coating samples were deposited on steel substrate by an atmospheric plasma spraying process. The tribological behavior of both coatings was studied from room temperature to 700 °C at 100° intervals using a custom designed high temperature wear test machine. Scanning electron microscopy was employed for the evaluation of the composite coatings and worn surfaces. Experimental results indicated that the hybrid coating had inferior tribological properties when compared to the nanostructured coating, showing the attractive frictional behavior on the basis of low friction and high wear resistance; the NS coating possessed a more stable friction coefficient in the temperature range of 25-700 °C against alumina counterface. Microstructural examinations revealed more uniformity in NS plasma-sprayed coatings.  相似文献

FeAl intermetallic compound coating was prepared by cold spraying using a mechanically alloyed Fe(Al) alloy powder followed by post-spray annealing at 950 °C. The high-temperature abrasive wear test was carried out for the FeAl coating at a temperature range from room temperature to 800 °C. The high-temperature abrasive wear of a heat-resistant stainless steel 2520 was performed for comparison. It was observed that the abrasive wear weight loss of FeAl coating was proportional to wear cycles in terms of sample revolutions at the tested temperatures. It was found that with the increase of the test temperature higher than 400 °C, the wear rate of cold-sprayed FeAl coating decreased with the increase of test temperature, while the wear rate of the heat-resistant steel increased significantly. The results indicate that the high-temperature abrasive wear resistance of the cold-sprayed FeAl intermetallic coating increased with the increase of the wear temperature in a temperature range from 400 to 800 °C. The wear resistance of cold-sprayed FeAl coating was higher than that of heat-resistant 2520 stainless steel under 800 °C by a factor of 3.  相似文献

Four types of NiCr-Cr2O3 composite coatings doped with different mass fraction of Nd2O3 were deposited by atmospheric plasma spraying. The microstructure and phase composition of as-sprayed coatings were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Furthermore, their friction and wear behaviors at 20 and 600 °C under unlubricated condition were evaluated using CSM high temperature tribometer. The results showed that Nd2O3 could refine microstructure of NiCr-Cr2O3 composite coating and make Cr2O3 distribution more uniform in the coating, which leads to the increase of average microhardness. In addition, NiCr-Cr2O3 composite coatings doped with Nd2O3 had better wear resistance than that without Nd2O3 at experimental temperatures. Especially, the coating containing 8 wt.% Nd2O3 showed the best wear resistance at 20 and 600 °C, which was attributed to the refined microstructure and improved microhardness. At 20 °C, the wear mechanism of the coating was abrasive wear, brittle fracture and splat detachment. At 600 °C, the wear mechanism was adhesion wear and plastic deformation.  相似文献

目的研究放电等离子烧结的Fe_(48)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)Y_2C_(15)B_6非晶涂层在滑动和冲刷条件下的耐磨性。方法利用放电等离子烧结(SPS)技术,制备Fe基非晶态合金涂层。通过滑动磨损实验和冲蚀磨损试验,分别评价非晶涂层的滑动磨损性能和冲蚀磨损性能,并通过X射线衍射仪和扫描电子显微镜分析非晶涂层的组织结构以及磨损形貌。结果非晶涂层在滑动摩擦条件下,随着载荷由10 N增加至20 N,磨损率由0.089×10~(-3)mm~3/m上升到0.216×10~(-3)mm~3/m,但摩擦系数由0.841减小到0.778。非晶涂层在冲蚀磨损条件下的体积磨损率随着冲蚀角度(30°~90°)的增加,先增大后减小,45°时达到极大值(15.80 mm~3/h)。磨损表面形貌表明,铁基非晶的滑动磨损机制主要是疲劳磨损和粘着磨损,冲蚀磨损机制主要表现为构成涂层的粉末颗粒的脆性剥落。结论与常用AISI 52100轴承钢相比,SPS制备的非晶涂层在滑动摩擦条件下有着显著的低磨损率和低摩擦系数,但在冲蚀磨损条件下的耐磨性能较差。  相似文献

The primary mullitized andalusite powders were spray-dried and heat-treated to improve sprayable capability. Then, mullite coating was deposited by atmospheric plasma spraying and heat treatment was contributed to recrystallization of the amorphous phase present in the as-sprayed mullite coating. Scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction were used to characterize the microstructure and phase composition of mullite coating. Meanwhile, the phase transition temperature, enthalpy, and specific heat capacity of as-sprayed coatings as well as recrystallized mullite coatings were determined by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Moreover, tribological properties of as-sprayed coating were investigated by SRV-IV friction and wear tester from 200 to 800 °C. It has been found that the as-sprayed coating possesses good thermal stability. DSC analysis reveals that recrystallization of the glassy phase present in the mullite coating occurs at about 980 °C. The friction coefficient of mullite coating was gradually increased from 0.82 at 200 °C to the highest value of 1.12 at 800 °C, while wear rates of the coating were at the order of 10?5 mm3/Nm. The as-sprayed coating suffered the most severe wear at 800 °C. The observed wear mechanisms were mainly abrasive wear, brittle fracture, and pulling-out of splats.  相似文献

This study evaluates the effects of annealing temperature and of the oxides produced during annealing processes on the tribological properties and material transfer behavior between the PVD CrN and CrAlN coatings and various counterface materials, i.e., ceramic alumina, steel, and aluminum. CrAlN coating has better thermal stability than CrN coating in terms of hardness degradation and oxidation resistance. When sliding against ceramic Al2O3 counterface, both CrN and CrAlN coatings present excellent wear resistance, even after annealing at 800 °C. The Cr-O compounds on the coating surface could serve as a lubricious layer and decrease the coefficient of friction of annealed coatings. When sliding against steel balls, severe material transfer and adhesive wear occurred on the CrN and CrAlN coatings annealed at 500 and 700 °C. However, for the CrAlN coating annealed at 800 °C, much less material sticking and only small amount of adhesive wear occurred, which is possibly due to the formation of a continuous Al-O layer on the coating outer layer. The sliding tests against aluminum balls indicate that both coatings are not suitable as the tool coatings for dry machining of aluminum alloys.  相似文献

Duplex surface treatment, which combines the oxygen diffusion hardening with a deposition of low friction MoS2(Ti,W) coating, was applied to improve the Ti-6Al-4V alloy load bearing capacity and tribological properties. The coating (3.1 μm thick) was deposited on the oxygen hardened alloy by magnetron sputtering. Microstructure characterisation was performed by scanning- and transmission electron microscopy methods, as well as X-ray diffractometry. The results of micro/nanostructural analyses performed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy showed that the coatings are composed of MoS2 nanoclusters embedded in an amorphous matrix. Some Ti α, W, and Ti2S nanocrystals were also found in the coating microstructure. The wear resistance and friction coefficient of the hardened oxygen, as well as the coated alloy, was investigated at room temperature (RT), 300 °C, and 350 °C. The presence of the MoS2(Ti,W) coating decreases the friction coefficient from 0.85 for the oxygen hardened alloy to 0.15 (at RT) and 0.09 (at 300 °C and 350 °C) for the coated one. The coating essentially increases the wear resistance of the alloy at RT and 300 °C. It was found that the wear resistance of the coated alloy decreased significantly during the wear test performed at 350 °C.  相似文献

In the present study, Co-W nano-structured alloy coatings are produced on low-carbon steel substrate by means of pulse electrodeposition from a citrate-based bath under different average current densities and duty cycles. The results indicate that the coating deposited under 60% of duty cycle and 1 A/dm2 of average current density exhibit optimum pulse plating conditions with 44.38 wt.% W, 37 nm grain size, and 758 HV microhardness. The effect of heat treatment temperature on microstructure, composition, corrosion behavior, and morphology of amorphous deposited Co-W alloy with 44 wt.% W was investigated. The microhardness of the coating increased to 1052 HV after heat treatment at 600 °C, which is due to the formation of Co3W and CoWO4 phases in the deposit. Furthermore, the coatings heat-treated at 600 °C had lower friction coefficients and better wear resistance under various loads than before heating.  相似文献

The unlubricated friction and wear behaviors of Al2O3/TiC ceramic tool materials were evaluated in ambient air at temperature up to 800 °C by high temperature tribological tests. The friction coefficient and wear rates were measured. The microstructural changes and the wear surface features of the ceramics were examined by scanning electron microscopy. Results showed that the temperature had an important effect on the friction and wear behaviors of this Al2O3 based ceramic. The friction coefficient decreased with the increase of temperature, and the Al2O3/TiC ceramics exhibited the lowest friction coefficient in the case of 800 °C sliding operation. The wear rates increased with the increase of temperature. During sliding at temperature above 600 °C, oxidation of the TiC is to be expected, and the formation of lubricious oxide film on the wear track is beneficial to the reduction of friction coefficient. The wear mechanism of the composites at temperature less than 400 °C was primary abrasive wear, and the mechanisms of oxidative wear dominated in the case of 800 °C sliding operation.  相似文献

The friction and wear properties of 30CrMnSiA steel were investigated at elevated temperature from 100 to 600 °C. Thereafter, the wear debris and worn surfaces were examined to understand the wear mechanisms. The remained debris with relatively high hardness created three-body abrasion at lower temperatures (100-300 °C). Abrasive wear prevailed at the conditions with high friction coefficients and wear rates. A significant change in friction and wear behavior occurred at 400 °C. At the temperature of 400 °C, oxidation induced mild wear was found because of the formation of load-bearing oxide film. Both the friction coefficients and wear rates of the steel were lowest at 400 °C. At the temperatures of 500-600 °C, a mild-to-severe wear transition occurred which resulted in an increase in the friction coefficients and wear rates of the steel. This is related to the decrease in the strength of matrix and hardness of worn surfaces and subsurfaces. The predominant wear mechanism is considered to be severe abrasive, adhesive wear and a fatigue delamination of the oxide film.  相似文献

采用高温磨损试验机对TC11合金在400、500、600℃进行磨损试验,研究对磨材料GCr15和M2钢对TC11合金的磨损行为的影响。结果表明,TC11合金无论与GCr15还是M2钢对磨,磨损率均随温度的升高而降低,TC11合金表现出优异的高温耐磨性。在大多数情况下,TC11合金磨损率随载荷增加均处于较低值且波动较小,但在400℃、超过200 N(与GCr15钢对磨)时和在400、500℃,大于200 N(与M2钢对磨)时磨损率显著增加。与M2钢对磨比与GCr15钢对磨使TC11合金磨损率升高。TC11合金的高耐磨性归因于摩擦氧化物层的保护作用。硬的对磨材料(M2钢)比软的对磨材料(GCr15钢)易于破坏TC11合金表面摩擦氧化物层而损害其保护作用。  相似文献

针对众多运动部件存在严重的摩擦磨损问题,使用大气等离子喷涂(APS)设备在1Cr18Ni9Ti不锈钢金属基材上喷涂制备WC-(W,Cr)2C-Ni和WC-(W,Cr)2C-Ni/Ag两种防护涂层,使用CSM摩擦磨损试验机考察两种涂层在室温下与Si3N4球配副时的滑动摩擦磨损性能。结果表明:Ag相的添加可明显降低涂层在干摩擦条件下的摩擦因数,并能减轻涂层的磨损程度;APS制备的WC-(W,Cr)2C-Ni/Ag复合涂层不仅具有优良的自润滑性能,而且具有极佳的耐磨性能,有望作为一种新型耐磨自润滑涂层材料。  相似文献

The present paper describes the effect of particle size on operative wear mechanism in particle reinforced aluminum alloy composites at elevated temperatures. Two composites containing zircon sand particles of 20-32 μm and 106-125 μm were fabricated by stir casting process. The dry sliding wear tests of the developed composites were performed at low and high loads with variation in temperatures from 50 to 300 °C. The transition in wear mode from mild-to-severe was observed with variation in temperature and load. The wear at 200 °C presented entirely different wear behavior from the one at 250 °C. The wear rate of fine size reinforced composite at 200 °C at higher load was substantially lower than that of coarse size reinforced composite. Examination of wear tracks and debris revealed that delamination occurs after run in wear mode followed by formation of smaller size wear debris, transfer of materials from the counter surfaces and mixing of these materials on the contact surfaces. The volume loss was observed to increase with increase in load and temperature. Composite containing bigger size particles exhibit higher loss under similar conditions.  相似文献

利用高速火焰喷涂技术制备出Fe-Al/SiC复合涂层,在MM-Al立式磨损试验机上对涂层常温下的摩擦磨损特性进行研究。采用扫描电镜、能谱、金相显微镜和X射线衍射仪,对涂层的组织形貌和相组成以及磨损后的表面形貌进行观察分析。研究表明,涂层的基体为Fe-Al相,具有典型的层状结构、较高的结合强度和显微硬度,孔隙率低;SiC硬质相分布于涂层之中,对涂层起到了颗粒强化和弥散强化的作用;涂层在常温干摩擦条件下具有良好的耐磨损性能,磨粒造成的剥层磨损是涂层的主要磨损机理。  相似文献

TiAlN/VN multilayer coatings exhibit excellent dry sliding wear resistance and low friction coefficient, reported to be associated with the formation of self-lubricating V2O5. To investigate this hypothesis, dry sliding ball-on-disc wear tests of TiAlN/VN coatings on flat stainless steel substrates were undertaken against Al2O3 at 25 °C, 300 °C and 635 °C in air. The coating exhibited increased wear rate with temperature. The friction coefficient was 0.53 at 25 °C, which increased to 1.03 at 300 °C and decreased to 0.46 at 635 °C. Detailed investigation of the worn surfaces was undertaken using site-specific transmission electron microscopy (TEM) via focused ion beam (FIB) microscopy, along with Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy. Microstructure and tribo-induced chemical reactions at these temperatures were correlated with the coating’s wear and friction behaviour. The friction behaviour at room temperature is attributed to the presence of a thin hydrated tribofilm and the presence of V2O5 at high temperature.  相似文献

运用等离子喷涂技术在7005铝合金表面制备了WC和CeO2颗粒协同增强镍基合金复合涂层,研究了该复合涂层的微观结构和摩擦学性能。结果表明:加入CeO2颗粒细化了复合涂层的显微组织,使WC增强颗粒从圆形变为不规则多边形,并降低了其脱碳分解程度。不同PV值摩擦条件下,WC-CeO2/镍基合金复合涂层的摩擦系数和磨损失重均低于WC/镍基合金复合涂层和镍基合金涂层。PV值小于3.36 N·m/s时,复合涂层磨损表面的最大接触应力低于其弹性极限接触应力,主要发生微观切削磨损和疲劳磨损;PV值大于3.36N·m/s后,磨损表面的最大接触应力超过其弹性极限接触应力,接触温度也急剧上升至648℃,磨损表面出现明显的塑性变形和脱落,其磨损机制变为多次塑变磨损、磨粒磨损和粘着磨损,并伴有氧化磨损。  相似文献

This work discusses the friction, wear and thermal response of TiCN-WC-Co-Cr3C2 cermet modified by the addition of TiB2 nanoparticles. The specimens were prepared by spark plasma sintering by adding different weight percentages (5, 10 and 15) of TiB2 nanoparticles in TiCN-WC-Co-Cr3C2 cermets. The sintered pieces were subjected to sliding wear under an unlubricated condition and a constant load of 20 N at sliding velocities of 0.23 m/s, 0.35 m/s and 0.47 m/s against a steel disc of 48 mm diameter. Friction was the maximum at a sliding velocity of 0.23 m/s. The wear loss decreased with increasing speed of sliding and was between 10−5 to 10−6 mm3. The wear rates and coefficient of friction were highly dependent on microstructure and mechanical properties of the cermets. Abrasion and adhesion were the active modes of wear. Heating of the samples was carried out at 600 °C, 800 °C and 1000 °C for 4 h. A substantial mass gain and decrease in hardness were observed in the specimen annealed at 1000 °C, for which Scanning Electron Microscopy revealed considerable grain growth and XRD showed oxide phases. A cermet containing 15% TiB2 nanoparticles displayed the lowest volumetric wear at room temperature, but had rather low thermal stability. Response surface methodology was used to develop models and regression equations for wear and thermal stability.  相似文献
